TRIALS OF SEVERANCE

A masked figure sits atop the crumbling bow of a ferry shipwrecked on the riverbank, eyes scanning her gathered cohorts from behind the porcelain facade. They all await her orders, just as she tunes in to the eldritch murmurings of their Operator.

It wouldn’t be long now.

The insufferable being- that loathsome bad HABIT- continues to gather more of their Infected by the day, creating a makeshift warren within the abandoned fort just up the hill made entirely of marked souls that were not his to take. He is arrogant in his work, but the opposition he faces grows in number as well.

He is a thief, and a fool. Their Operator will not stand for his toting of stolen property any longer.

Another look into the Trials of Severance! Due to an unexpected surge in interest, pre-trials character development is currently underway! With the trials set to begin sometime between mid-April and early May 2020, now is the best time to check things out if we’ve caught your eye. 👁

PREMISE:

The Trials of Severance are a ‘Seven Trials of HABIT’ RPG. You the player are tasked with creating a character who has become infected with slendersickness-possibly even unbeknownst to them. This character will interact with others physically around them at an abandoned military fort on a river peninsula in Pennsylvania while completing Trials set for them by HABIT, who is assisted by Patrick (MLA0) and Firebrand (TT). The threat of the Operator looms in the face of a scouting group of proxy footsoldiers, with more to come on the horizon...

- Roleplay set in paragraph-style third person writing, as shown above. Replies do not have to be lengthy, just in this format for ease of reading!

- Intensive worldbuilding lore combining elements from EverymanHYBRID, MarbleHornets, TribeTwelve, and beyond- including original story content and characters.

- Multiple character paths options

- Proxy and Collective antagonists alongside HABIT.

Horror RPG Announcement

Something about Derry, Maine has never been quite right. You can feel it in the air as soon as you cross the town border- a faint unease that crawls up your spine that tells you the quiet town is hiding something behind its pleasant facade.

You get the urge to investigate further. The discomfort in the air, the adults whose memories are riddled with gaps...all those missing people. It has to be linked, right? There must be a reason behind it.

Announcing a new Discord-based horror RPG influenced by the style of the Seven Trials of HABIT! Play as an original character in the town of Derry, uncover clues from the past and present, and work with fellow players to either stop Pennywise... or help it.

Brief Information

- Altered Timeline: Takes place in 2019, 10 years after the defeat of the loser’s club children during their initial encounter with Pennywise.

- Charcaters must be original characters, human, and 15+

-The roleplay will involve the interference of two cults, each with their own set of trials. You can choose which (if either) your character takes on in order to either entrap or free Pennywise.
