Any and all wes aus you have please

AAAAH MY DEAR U HAVE OPENED A CAN OF WORMS.... i cannot possibly do All the the wes aus i have bc i have probably 20 BUT the good news is most of them are variations on a few Major aus so i've broken them down into 6 main ones. under a read more after the first one bc boy this is long!

canonical ending (john dies, wes becomes judge)

killing john is really the worst thing wes ever does. it haunts him for the rest of his life, especially because after the collapse he sees it as completely unnecessary

he's jaded toward the resistance, who pushed him to kill john, and his guilt drives him to join & genuinely believe in joseph. the only people from the resistance he still considers friends are the ryes (and staci but he also joined the cult)

after killing john he took his bunker key and wears it under his judge outfit

jacob lives despite wes trying to kill him, and they always have an incredibly tense relationship. by the time new dawn takes place they can have a (mostly one-sided obviously lol) conversation, but they almost never do

wes, despite being the judge, does talk in his sleep, and carmina often wonders who "john" is

post-cult au ("good" ending)

in wes's main canon, a second helicopter crash Condemns him, but in this ending, he, joey, and staci manage to escape instead. they get out of hope county alive. wes moves back in with his parents in great falls

wes gets diagnosed with ptsd and sees a therapist weekly. other than that, he goes for runs with boomer and helps his dad with dinner

at the seeds' trial, it came out that he & john were sleeping together. the seeds still went to jail, but he never felt more doubted by the jury than at that moment

he tries to go on a few dates at his mother's insistence, but none of them turn out very well

and john shows up at his doorstep a few months later anyway :)

no-cult au (the wes/joseph flavor)

i do have nc wes/john but this one has more meat to it so. <3 but anyways wes and joseph meet each other through john and are immediately taken with each other

wes never saw getting married but it's important to joseph, so they get married :> wes even takes joseph's last name

the seeds & the deputies have a yearly gathering at john's ranch every christmas eve and sleep over so they can be together on christmas morning

wes also never wanted kids but joseph really does, so wes & a surrogate have their daughter, delilah

this is important: uncle staci helps delilah dye her hair blue when she's 13.

cult but with my partner's oc

my partner's oc is deputy kierra mullinax -> assistant herald anya seed. she was one of wes's best friends before the reaping and when she joins the cult its extremely hard on him. they met in college

wes wants to get her back with the resistance but it's daunting because she believes so much in the cult & is involved with all the seeds

she eventually captures him. wes can't resist her like he can with the other seeds and she eventually gets him to reluctantly join their side

boomer too :>

anya is so much more ruthless than before the cult it's hard for wes to recognize her, but the guilt he feels at the idea of leaving her behind is too much. he feels like he failed her & wasn't able to save her

AND FINALLY: apocalypse au

the world has been overrun by monsters/aliens a la overland that are drawn to sound. wes formed a group with his coworkers kierra, staci, and joey that slowly grew to include grace, jess, jerome, mary may, and the ryes as well

the seeds have a large group filled with joseph's former church followers. because they're such a large group, they have the resources & brutality to use guns, despite the negative effects of the noise

when those Negative Effects bite them in the ass, staci and jacob get separated from the group, and joseph, john, and faith join wes's group

joseph & john believe the current state of the world is a punishment from god

wes's main weapon is a machete because that's sexy
