sorry i dont go here i didnt even finish the show. but 'the 100' having the most widely acknowleged case of the bury-your-gays trope makes it doubly funny that it also went on to have the most egregious case of straightbaiting ever broadcast as well. the fact the actors have shared they were told to play their respective male and female leads as having a romantic attachment for no less than half a decade only for them to never act on it and then in the end ONE MURDERS THE OTHER. thats really something right there. i think the show runner might not even be homophobic, just a sadist

god, maya’s impression of bellamy must’ve been absolutely legendary. first off, she’s only heard stories about him from jasper and co, who all essentially worship him, and then when she meets him he. he knows her name right away, like some kind of mythical creature. he’s is this powerful and intense and vengeful guy with beautiful and kind eyes who keeps asking if she’s okay. and then not 2 minutes into their relationship he beats the shit out of someone and gets all bloody and looks monstrous in this yellowish lighting, but then he’s like, “are you alright?” in this soft and gentle voice, as if he’s not the one bruised and pained about what he had to do. i can’t imagine how intriguing he would be. and then he’s super intense and serious and broody for the rest of their walk, until they meet the children, and he’s even more tortured about it. and when he talks to clarke about their plan and maya doesn’t seem confident about the long laundry list of tasks they have to do, he still smiles and assures that it’s not a problem. always believing in the impossible for the sake of everyone else. 

the way he immediately steps into that big brother role with her. the way maya sees all these complicated sides of him all at once, and still chooses to go all in. 

this dynamic is one of the most interesting ones on the show, it’s a shame we only get to see it for just a few episodes.

So hair are has come up a few times, with Izzy taking care of Sam’s beautiful flowing locks. But also what about Sam getting little head massages at the end of the day. A little rub for his scalp and temples. Especially if his hair was tied up, because lord knows even the lowest and loosest of ponytails can still make your head sore after a while.

But also just Izzy being amazed at how much trust Sam is putting in him? Choosing to be vulnerable around him??? For all Sam plays up being personable, he’s probably still pretty guarded, so letting Izzy take care of him in private is like when a cat chooses to come sit it your lap. Izzy is Chosen.

Roman rolled over, sighing into his pillow. He still wasn't sure how everything had gotten so fucked up. Or rather, he knew how that had happened, just not…. Why. 

What had he done so wrong that had caused Abe to prefer someone else's company to his own?

He'd half expected Abe to chase after him when he'd walked away after that fight, but he hadn't. Realistically Roman should have known he'd be disappointed, but when Zane knocked on his dorm room door, a small part of him had hoped it would be Abe. But of course his stupid boyfriend— ex boyfriend, had been far too busy tending to Callum's wounded pride. 

It doesn't matter.

Roman kept telling himself that, in hopes that it would eventually be true. That getting kicked out of the dorm for starting a fight  wasn't a big deal. That moving to a student apartment with Zane and Tennyson for the coming year would help. That he was fine. That he would be eventually, at least. It didn't feel true though. 

A knock sounded at his door. He contemplated expending the energy to throw something at the door. Probably not.

“Go away, Zane, I’m not in the mood.” Roman groaned.
