छप्पन भोग कहाँ मन बौरे, कहीं कुरड़ी चरने जाई।।

मनुष्य जीवन में हम कितने अच्छे अर्थात् 56 प्रकार के भोजन खाते हैं। भक्ति न करने से या शास्त्रविरूद्ध साधना करने से गधा बनेगा, फिर ये छप्पन प्रकार के भोजन कहाँ प्राप्त होंगे, कहीं कुरड़ियों (रूड़ी) पर पेट भरने के लिए घास खाने जाएगा। इसी प्रकार बैल आदि-आदि पशुओं की योनियों में कष्ट पर कष्ट उठाएगा।
