Riviera Retreat Kit - Romeo & Juliet Arbor - 4t3 conversion

Prettiest object in the kit, not gonna lie. Also not the easiest kind of garden decor to find!

I divided the object in three - frame, drapes, and ivy, becuase:

Versatility: The TS4 version can offer you the ivy version or the drapes version, never both nor neither;

Polycount: I had to double-side stuff, so while the original is around 6k, the sum of the separated objects in the conversion is around 10k. Not as scary as one would think since the footprint is 5x7, making the polycount per tile quite low, but it's not something to be left un-noted.

Frame and drapes have one channel each, ivy is unrecolorable. All in Decor > Roof ornaments. Frame is $2000, ivy and drapes are $0. BGC.

You don't need moveobjects on to place the pieces or put objects below them, and sims will walk under the pieces with no issues.

And yup, I linked some items because several of them share the exactly same texture and i wanted to save time, file size, and check if the technique worked - it does!

So, this is the reason I'm working my ass on those counters for a week - those are from PARIS part 2, and most of the set is already done!

Bangunan tradisional Bali ini dibuat karena bertepatan dengan bulan ini dimana di tanggal 22 Maret 2023 adalah Hari Raya Nyepi, yaitu hari pergantian Tahun Saka yang dirayakan umat Hindu setiap satu tahun sekali.  🙏

Selain itu juga untuk melambangkan ucapan terima kasih karena saya bertemu dengan banyak teman di kalangan Sims community yang berasal dari Indonesia. 

These three traditional Balinese architecture were made because the time was coincide with Nyepi, which is a Balinese "Day of Silence" that is commemorated every Isakawarsa (Saka new year) according to the Balinese calendar (in 2023, it falls on March 22). It is a Balinese celebration mainly celebrated in Bali, Indonesia. (source: Wikipedia)  🙏

Pura is a Balinese Hindu temple and the place of worship for adherents of Balinese Hinduism in Indonesia.

Gapura Candi Bentar (Left Side & Right Side) is a gate consists of two temple buildings that have identical shapes and are placed parallel as the main gate to enter the courtyard area of the house or the outermost gate. Usually, its uses as the main entrance of the temple or place of Hindu worship in Bali. (source: Palm-Living)

Penjor is a Balinese Hindu religious symbol of prosperity installed on the day of the Galungan ceremony. (source: Wikipedia)

Base mesh by respective 3D modelers, I decreased the high poly (100K) from original 3D model into less than 20K, added mesh, uvmap, and retexture to finish the 3D models.

Brutalism in The Sims 3?

I’ve been working on a Sunset Valley Revamp in my free time and I have been incorporating a lot of “Brutalism” style of architecture into the downtown buildings.  I really love the angular shapes of Brutalism and the minimalist design and natural use of materials.

First 2 images are of the Art Gallery which is a WIP. Still completely empty inside.  Third image is of of a finished apartment building.

Realm of Magic Outdoor Decor - 4t3 conversion

The WIP the Creators Cave Discord server was tired of watching! The awning (two sizes) and the balcony work the same way as my previous Get Famous conversions - shiftable, but for a better fit DebugEnabler or Decorator’s Best Friend highly recommended.

And yes, I know the floor medallion glows on TS4, but the mesh came in only one group and mapped in a way I couldn’t select the summoning circle and create a separate group with the Additive shader (which’s still a mystery for me) :(

Controls are shown in the pics, variant sizes and presets too.

Those objects have been converted for a while, but I was caught on my CAS spree (lots of private conversions that I’m a bit afraid to share, even if the original creator is not active anymore. Drop me a message if interested) and I wasn’t on the mood to upload Buy Mode stuff. But here it is, the second to last pack of my TS4GF conversions for the Fanciful theme.

I’m a bit tired now, so I’ll list the items with price, channels, and where to find them, okay?

Balcony: $ 800, Decor > Roof Decor, 3 channels Dormer: $ 800, Decor > Roof Decor, 2 channels Finial: $ 150, Decor > Roof Decor, 1 channel Floor sign: $ 800, Decor > Sculptures, 2 channels Fountain: $ 2500, Decor > Sculptures, 2 channels Fountain (resized, shown on pic): $ 2000, Decor > Sculptures, 2 channels Urn post: $ 800, Decor > Sculptures, 3 channels Wall deco: $ 150, Decor > Roof Decor, 3 channels Wall shell: $ 150, Decor > Roof Decor, 3 channels

The balcony and the wall tiles are shiftable. The finial and the dormer were converted from the TS3WA weather vane, made base game compatible — if it does not work with base game only, please tell me! The fountains have no water jets, since apparently they’re impossible to convert. Creative use of the moveobjects cheat, DebugEnabler / Decorator’s Best Friend mods and the pool jets are welcome :)
