Meet Mary Erason, daughter to Tim and Georgia Erason, older sister to Lucas. Growing up, she showed a love for guitar and sewing, spending hours in her room crafting away. Along the way, she met a boy named Drew, her best friend in the world. Never leaving each other's side, their parents would joke about how they'd get married one day...

Now she's graduated high school, trying to find a place in this world. Drew wants to be there for her every step of the way, but Mary wants to find her own independence. Will she be able to overcome the stresses of adulthood and make it on her own? Or will she end up invisible...?

Hi there! I do think I'd like to eventually write a TTPD gen. However, it's gonna require me reworking the gen colors and, for that matter, fathoming this album a bit more. I am currently finishing up my masters thesis, though, so it may not be for a bit! Hopefully I'll get to it this summer 🤍

In the meantime, feel free to include it yourself if you're that far along!

Marilyn "Mary" McGraw grew up in the heart of Henford-on-Bagley, fishing with her dad Maxwell and gardening with her late mom Maybelle. When her mom suddenly passed, her dad remarried her step-mom Sarah and they had her younger brother Drew. Poor but kind, she and her expanded family formed new bonds together. Through all this turmoil and change, her childhood best friend was there. They'd spend their days roughhousing and exploring and, upon nightfall, share secrets under the stars. Suffice to say, Maybelle was shocked when Danielle came out as a trans woman. But she was even more shocked when she found herself falling head over heels for her longtime friend...

Swiftacy Gen 1: Debut

Starting the Swiftacy by @gillysims. Huge thanks to the creator for making it.

Our story begins with Kai, the eldest child of Keo and Syrena Akanu. Kai grew up in Sulani, living in a beach house with his parents and twin younger siblings named Kala and Makaio. His father, Keo, is a high ranking military officer. His mother, Syrena, is a stay-at-home mom who reached 5 star celebrity status as a romance novelist.

Kai is just finishing High School - soon to celebrate his birthday and officially become a young adult. He spent his teen years exploring his options romantically and trying to start figuring out his place in the world.

While he kept his options open initially, he's become very attracted to his childhood friend Makani Pelekai. Makani and his fathers (Aleki and Enele) are neighbors of the Akanu family, and he seems to return Kai's interest. He romantically promposed to Kai after Kai tried to cool their relationship off and just be friends, but does that mean the attraction is mutual? Time will tell.

As a Note: I'm starting this challenge in a save that I initially began as a freeform, mermaid legacy using the Gen 1 Sim's parents. My friend and her daugher (my goddaugher) made Syrena together, asked me to make Keo for her, and started a legacy with them while asking me to do the same. However, I tend to get bored of freeform legacies, and I decided to find a challenge that gave me a little more direction to take things so I wouldn't just drop the save. I saw a YouTube video where EnglishSimmer showed her start to this challenge, and decided it looked like fun. My main Sim family sistuation may not quite fit the exact start the challenge creator specifies for Gen 1, but I'm gonna just roll with it.

Gen 1: Debut

The twins invite Bea to play on their jungle gym. They climb up and hang out on the top, when suddenly, Bea almost falls through.

"Oh, Bea! Be careful!" Thomas reaches from her."

"I'm okay Thomas!" Bea laughes.

It is at this moment, that two sims were bound. Bound to become more than just friends, bound to become soulmates. This will only become known to be years later though, for now Thomas is still deciding if he wants to be friends with this farmgirl, because to be fair, she is only 7, and he is only 9.

I plan to eventually - I had hoped to get to it this summer but it's been really busy. I'm about to start my PhD soon, so preparing for that has been a lot!! I'm also still ruminating on ideas on how to match the themes of the album and continue the challenge!

I think what I may do is wait until the new expansion drops, get an idea of its features, and try to integrate some of them into the new gen. I think there are definitely some features that could fit!

Hi! I’m obsessed with your Swiftacy legacy challenge! Was just wondering, for Gen 1 are we supposed to start as a child or a young adult?

Hi! Thanks! 🩷

I intended the challenge to be played starting with a YA sim, with the backstory of the childhood best friends growing up together. However, if you wanted to play out starting with a child sim, you totally could! Up to you and what you think sounds most fun!

Austin, Ali and Andi came over to play today. Mary was super happy to have her friends over since she's the only kid in the house during the day. This adorable hug between Austin and Mary was captured.

It's Nash's 5th birthday, the party started while Corey was at school but he got back just in time to watch his brother blow out the candles.

Nash is always telling jokes and coming up with crazy ideas and telling the craziest of stories.

Mary loves being read a story before bed. and after bed. she asks for a story before bed and every hour after bedtime avoiding having to sleep.
