Let's start with a little TsukiHina story illustrated with some simple doodles (originally done in 2021 for TsukiHina Magic Week Day 1: Curses/Blessings).
--
Moon's Child: A TsukiHina Tale
The Tsukishimas were a big family. However, none of their seven children had managed to conceive a healthy child of their own. They had tried every remedy they could think of, even traveled to far away lands looking for the counsel of renowned healers and witches, but to no avail. The bloodline seemed doomed to end there.
One night, out of sheer desperation, the matriarch, who was already well into old age, used her last breaths to pray to whomever was listening. And through the veil of life and death, the Moon heard her prayers and promised her that every Tsukishima to come would be blessed with a child. And, that that child would grow healthily and live a long and prosperous life.
The only thing the Moon wanted in exchange was that, if they ever manage to conceive a second, they would belong to her. The next day, the younger daughter was pregnant.
Fast-forward a couple generations, it was a full moon the night Maiko Tsukishima gave birth to her second child and the child’s pale skin seemed to glow beneath the moonlight that filtered through the window. They called him Kei.
Tumblr media
The Tsukishimas briefly worried about the old pact, but years passed, and the child grew healthy; so they gathered the Moon’s boon might have run his course.
The Moon, though, didn’t have a sense of time like humans did.

Kei was seven, when he met Hinata for the first time. Hinata who was loud, annoying and always pestering him. They fought more often than not, but you could rarely see one without the other. “We are not friends though”, they would swear if anyone asked.
Tumblr media
One day, when they were barely 15, Kei disappeared. Hinata looked in every one of the usual places, under their favorite tree, next to the creek were the frogs gather, even in a cave on the forest when they once took shelter from the rain; but Kei was nowhere to be found. So, he went to the Tsukishima’s, and there he learned about the old pledge.
“I will find him whatever it takes, and I will bring him back”, he promised, not a trace of doubt in his face.
Thus, Hinata traveled the world, looking for people who still believed in the old magic, people who could give him answers.
Tumblr media
He crossed seas, climbed mountains, fought agains terrible creatures. Until one day, on a remote town at the edges of the world, he found an old lady, her mother had been a Moon priestess.
“The only way to reach the Moon’s realm is with a blessing from the Sun”, he told him. So, Hinata’s quest continued.
--
Everything was dark and humidity seeped through his clothes. He didn’t know how long he has been in this place, time didn’t seem to pass here, on the Moon’s realm. He felt no hunger or thirst. However, he was sure his body was growing.
Loneliness consumed Kei’s every thought. “I wish he had taken me as a baby. If you don’t know something, you can’t miss it, right?”, he often thought. But he did know, and he did miss.
He missed his family, he missed his brother and his books, and all the little creatures he used to observe (there was nothing here). And, most of all, he missed Shouyou, with his bright smile and his loud voice… and his constant presence… he missed him so badly sometimes he thought it was gonna kill him.
--
“Let me pass, I have to get in there”
“You’ll have to go through me”, roared the mighty dragon.
It was an arduous battle, both bled and tiredness seeped through their bones, but at last Hinata managed to defeat the fiery creature.
“Now you’ll let me meet the god Sun.”
“You already have, child. I am the Sun and you passed the test. This sword is imbued with my light, there’s no darkness it cannot reach.”
Tumblr media
“How do I find it, the dark side of the moon?”, asked Hinata hesitantly.
“Just close your eyes and think of what you most desire, the sword will guide you”
When Hinata opened his eyes, everything surrounded him was in complete darkness. For a moment, he panicked, then he remembered the sword. “Deep breath, focus, find Tsukki”. Suddenly he felt it, he barely didn’t notice drawing his sword and slicing through the darkness.
Tumblr media
“A light?”
Kei looked up, tear tracks on his face, the brightness hurt his eyes, but he couldn’t make himself look away. Then he saw something, a figure coming from the light.
“Is that... Shouyou?”. It can’t be, he must be hallucinating.
The figure (Shoyou?) descended besides him.
“Hey, Tsukki! At last, I found you. Don’t tell me you forgot about me”, with a bright but slightly teary smile Shoyou offered his hand and Kei took it and propped himself up.
Tumblr media
--
Tumblr media
--
Don’t know how long they stood there, taking each other in. Then, Hinata lunged forward, his surprisingly strong arms wrapping around Kei’s waist and enveloping him in a crushing hug.
“I missed you”
“What? Didn’t have anyone to annoy", Kei quipped, "missed you too.”
Tumblr media
"So...let's get out of here"

✍️ ; GLIMPSE OF THE PAST
tw // mentions of past verbal abuse
He wasn’t supposed to yell. Kei was always a composed person, but maybe it was the fatigue creeping in and all his frustrations that built up for him to no longer contain what he’s been keeping inside for the past few weeks — he exploded, and that led to the guilt crippling up his skin.
The victim of his outburst, his boyfriend, Shoyo, is now locked up in their shared room and it breaks Kei to be the reason he’s crying. Really, it’s not Shoyo’s fault that the coffee he made for Kei spilled on the plates Kei was making. Shoyo’s intention was to only give Kei the coffee he asked for.
Kei knew. He knew damn well how much Shoyo hates getting yelled at. He knew how the action triggers memories Shoyo tries so hard to repress and forget. He knew yet he did it anyway. He blamed himself for the current situation they’re in. He should have kept his feelings under control.
If Shoyo could hear Kei’s thoughts, he’d for sure chastise the blonde for being too hard on himself as he was already tired and in dire need of rest, but that still doesn’t change the fact that Kei triggered something unpleasant for his lover.
“Love?” Kei pleaded at the door, desperately hoping that Shoyo would open the door and let him in, “please, I, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have yelled at you. I knew how much you hated it.
Sniffles and a bit of shuffling was heard from the other side of the door, “You know, Kei… one of the reasons I chose to be a psychology major was because of this. I used to blame myself every time my dad would yell and verbally abuse me. I.. I wanted people who go through that, that they’re not alone, that it’s not their fault. They’re a victim,” by now, a fresh set of tears were running down Shoyo’s cheeks and another burn in his throat rose, “When you yelled at me earlier, I blamed myself once again. I saw the face of my father telling me that I’m a ‘no good child’ and that I ‘should’ve been aborted.”
“I’m sorry…” Kei said with so much remorse as he leaned his forehead against his side of the door.
“I know you didn’t mean for it to happen,” Shoyo also leaned his forehead on his side of the door. None of them knew that they were mirroring each other’s actions, “I know you regret it. I know you’re sorry, but I just need time, ok?”
“Of course, love, whenever you’re ready,” Kei took a deep breath, regrets of what he did never leaving his system, it would be there for a while, “I love you.”
“I know. I love you.” Shoyo heard footsteps until the sound faded. He felt like his trauma was a curse, bound to haunt him until his last breath, but he knew it can get better. It will get better, hopefully for his case.
Afterall, it was never his fault, right?

It might be obvious to anyone who listens to the HQ soundtrack as much as I do, but for those who don’t, this is the track that plays during Hinata’s super save receive in VS Inarizaki. It’s called Haken or Pitons when Hibarida gives his speech about the climbing footholds, in which Hinata’s play gave the team relief and boosted morale.
Anyway, the song first starts off with the melody in S2 Baby Bird which had been remixed to be S4 Level 1 Ball Boy, which is the obvious call back to Hinata’s training in Miyagi Camp as Ball Boy
Around 1:04 another familiar tune plays. It’s S2 Greed or S4 Point of View, which is usually used to portray Hinata’s struggle in changing. Where S4′s version is in acoustic and sounds a lot more positive compared to the utter despair it felt like in S2 when he and Kageyama had that fight.
And then finally, a tune I’ve heard often but never really knew the name associated with, but when I finally pulled up the original track’s name, it blew me away. At 1:46 the tune is S1 Evolution, which really wraps it all up in his journey to get to that one play!

He's grown taller again. It's the first thing Kei notices when Hinata walks past the window of the restaurant they're meeting at. It doesn't matter - not really - because Kei has grown too, and Hinata is still a far cry from tall by Kei's standard.
The second thing he notices, but wishes he hadn't, is that Hinata has definitely filled out during his time in Brazil.

✍️ ; STUDY BUDDY
He's overloaded. Shoyo's brain is now overloaded with so much information. He's been studying for 4 hours straight, no rest, no breaks, just pure studying. He doesn't even know when his focus mode stopped and how long he's been forcing information to his brain.
He feels the headache start. His eyes are starting to sting. His back is already aching from his posture.
He /needs/ to stop but he won't. Not when he still needs to finish another chapter.
Before he could even dive back to his readings, he heard the doorbell ring. He groaned at the disturbance and forced himself out of his study space to open the door.
He was met with someone's chest upon opening, looking up, he saw his boyfriend's emotionless face.
"Why weren't you answering your phone?" Kei asks, his voice was quite cold, and if Shoyo didn't know any better he'd mistake it for anger instead of concern.
"I was reviewing," Shoyo replies softly, "those psychological disorders are kind of tricky to differentiate so..." he trailed off, looking into the void.
"You need to rest," Kei wasn't pointing it out at this point, he was commanding, "you still have another day for studying before your quiz anyway."
"Hmm..." Shoyo passed out, Kei sighed as he caught his lover from falling. If Shoyo was being difficult, Kei considered using his T-square to hit his partner's head.
He carried Shoyo to his bed and tucked him in. He caressed Shoyo's face, admiring the hardworking beauty.
"You don't have to push yourself too hard, babe. You know I can be your study buddy even if we're in different courses. I just want to make sure you get proper rest in between study sessions." Kei whispered in a low, loving tone while he continued to hold Shoyo's face. He brushed away his lover's bangs and gave a kiss on his forehead.
He started setting out the plates he needed to do 'cause /holy fuck/ being an architecture student is insane. The amount of effort you have to do for the specific details would make you question your sanity.
Good thing he already has his own table in Shoyo's apartment. He'll wake up the latter in a few hours. He knows how much Shoyo has been beating himself up with all the academic shit he needs to do. Letting him rest for a while won't hurt. It's his job after all, to look out for his boyfriend when his boyfriend can't do it himself.
Shoyo does the same to him anyway.

✍️ ; HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEI
cw // nsfw, make out session
Pulling away from his drafting table, Kei stretches his limbs after hours of drawing his plates. He /finally/ has time to rest.
However, his boyfriend had other plans. He felt Shoyo's presence behind him, hands on his shoulder, slowly massaging the tensed muscles with his light touch. Shoyo's hands then proceeded to wonder.
Hands wandered to his chest then down his abs, drinking in his figure.
The room suddenly felt hot.
"Babe?" Kei calls out but instead of receiving a reply, his boyfriend moves and sits on his lap.
/God, his weight on my thighs feels so good/
"Sho—" Kei tried to call out once again but his words suddenly became a moan as he felt butterfly kisses on his shoulder going towards his neck, cheek, and finally his lips.
Kei closes his eyes, letting his lover take dominance over their current situation.
Shoyo licks Kei's lips asking for entrance and Kei happily gives him permission to do so. Shoyo licks every corner of Kei's mouth his tongue can reach. His hands circling over Kei's neck, fingers traveling from Kei's nape to his hair, gently pulling, and feeling the vibration of Kei's moan in his mouth.
Shoyo pulls away for a bit to give them time to breath but Kei whines, so he resorts to kissing his lover's neck again. Now, lapping over the skin, making sure to leave a mark, and relishing in the soft breathless grunts his partner is making.
Once again, Shoyo takes in Kei's mouth but with much more aggressiveness. He kisses. He licks He sucks.
Everything that he knows would drive Kei crazy. He could already feel Kei's boner. He pulls away from Kei's mouth and whispers in his ear.
"It's already 12am, happy birthday, Kei." With that Shoyo stands up from Kei's lap, leaves to go to another room while giggling, leaving his boyfriend in a daze.
Two things were the only thing on Kei's mind: How hot Shoyo is and how much of a fucking tease he is.

✍️ ; LOST YOU, NEVER REGRETTED YOU
After years of not seeing your ex, it’s a no-brainer to be shocked to meet him in the midst of the buzzling city of Tokyo. A place neither of you have been to when you were in a relationship, and a place that wasn’t a part of the plans you told each other.
But here stands Kei, confused about the familiar splash of orange hair he swore he saw passing by his peripheral vision. He couldn’t decide whether it was just someone with similar hair or just his imagination because surprise! He hasn’t moved on from his past lover.
"Kei," /Oh./ Shoyo's voice. The voice that was not only familiar with his sense of hearing, but also throughout his entire body and soul. The voice that once brought him comfort, now brings pain, piercing through his heart without mercy. The memories they once shared flashing by his eyes and the pain of their break up can still be felt like a freshly cut wound.
"It is you!" Shoyo's blinding smile met Kei's eyes, as idpain wasn't an experience Shoyo felt, "How are you?"
"I'm doing good," /I'm actually not/ Kei wanted to say but hehas to give himself more credit for not choking on a sob, "what about you?"
"I'm doing great!" Good. Kei was glad to know, all he ever wanted was for Shoyo to find happiness once again, "I'm actually engaged, getting married next week, and I know we're exes and all but you were still a big part of my life, so if it's not uncomfortable to you, I'd like you to be there."
/Oh, ouch/
"Yeah, I'm actually really busy. I'm afraid I have to turn you down." /lies./ Kei booked a leave from his work. He has all the time to prepare and attend Shoyo's wedding.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't take into consideration that you have work," the disappointment in Shoyo's voice was evident, "well, I'll see you around! I need to be somewhere in a few. Have a great day and I hope you're happy with your life. Goodbye!"
/I'm not happy without you./
With that goodbye, Shoyo left. Once again. Not like it was his fault, Kei was the one who begged for a break up no matter how much Shoyo wanted to fix their relationship, no matter how much Shoyo was willing to be beside Kei even if his mental health was declining and causing him issues. It was Kei's fault.
He only has /himself/ to /blame./
Shoyo wasn't only Kei's first love but also his /greatest/ love. And He fucked it up. /He/ fucked up something he considered the best thing in his life.
Kei has lost Shoyo in his life, but regretting Shoyo never crossed his mind because regret was reserved only for his decisions and actions when he broke up with Shoyo.

✍️ ; GUARD DOWN
cw // knives, violence
Once you enter the grand ball room of Seijoh Hotel, you'd be mesmerized by the elegance of the interior especially the big chandelier hanging at the middle of the ceiling.
Kei almost gaped at the beauty of the room but refrained himself from doing so. He has to lead the entire team of bodyguards that swore to protect the owners of the hotel, Hajime Iwaizumi and Tooru Iwaizumi. The married couple knew their lives were in danger after getting into a messy encounter the the Shiratorizawa Corporation. They couldn't, however, cancel the auction party they've already planned. The proceeds of thr party would strictly go to charity, especially to the orphaned kids.
They put their sole trust on Kei. They knew they'd be safe and wouldn't need to be so guarded around the tall blonde.
"Kei, I can't express how much we are greatful to you for protecting us on a daily. So please, enjoy the night. Leave the rest of the stuff to the other bodyguards and relax." Hajime says, Tooru clung on his arm, nodding in agreement.
"Thank you for the offer but I cannot put my guard down. It's a big event and I can't risk putting in lives in danger." Kei says emotionlessly, bowing at the couple before leaving them be so that there's no room for negotiation.
He was right about not putting his guard down. Right now, he's in one of the hotel rooms with a knife pointed at his neck, held none other than Shoyo Hinata. An assassin he's come in contact with multiple times. The smaller aims to kill the Iwaizumi couple under the order of Wakatoshi Ushijima. He's been unsuccessful so far due to Kei's skills but he's determined nonetheless.
"Well, if it isn't the great Shoyo Hinata," his tone was anything but scared, he had a smirk on his face, looking smug for someone who has a knife directed at them, "how is my favorite assassin? Any new plans in killing the Iwaizumi couple? Hmm?"
"Shut up," Shoyo was about to say something else when he felt Kei take a step back, hit his hand, twisted his arm, and pressed him against the wall, "What the fuck."
"Sweetheart, you need more than a knife to kill me," Kei whispered tauntingly on Shoyo's ear, "Besides, you always have your guard down when faced with me, hmm? I wonder why?"
"Darling, with such a pretty face, how could I ever get serious in giving you a scar?" Shoyo chuckled.
"Love, I'll give you an advantage next time," Kei says, "Maybe I'll text you where they are and I'll /coincidentally/ use the bathroom so that you could have your chance at killing them."
"And why would you do that?" Shoyo asks genuinely curious.
"Maybe I want my boyfriend to get his job done, maybe I'm tired of fighting with you and maybe they rub me off the wrong way," Kei turns Shoyo's entire body so the latter is facing him, he puts his hand on the wall beside Shoyo's head, completely towering the smaller, "You've also haven't been home for more than a month because you can't kill them yet."
Kei presses a soft kiss on Shoyo's lips before biting it and making it bleed, taking satisfaction at Shoyo's hiss.
"No need for that. The chandelier will fall on the couple once they have to do their slow dance in the middle," the assassin admits before grabbing the taller's nape to give a deep kiss, "and maybe I'll just keep you in this room 'til that happens."
"Maybe I won't resist." Kei once again claims Shoyo's lips and if they hear disaster happening outside, Shoyo will hide and Kei will pretend like he's been doing his job as a bodyguard and doing someone else in one of the hotel rooms.

✍️ ; HUGS
The apartment has been cleaned. Everything is in place. Take out food has been ordered. The table has been set.
All that's left to do is for Hinata to wait for Tsukishima to come home.
Tsukishima have been having a /very/ tight schedule these days. Hinata knows this, which is why he decided to prepare a small dinner surprise for his blonde boyfriend. He wanted the tall boy to relax a bit.
Minutes have passed, the orange haired boy is only growing nervous.
"Will he like it?" "Will he get mad?" "Should I have put more effort for this surprise?"
His mind was getting filled with thoughts — negative "what ifs". He was overthinking. He just wanted his boyfriend to rest for a bit knowing the latter's tight schedule.
"I'm home!" A familiar voice broke his train of thoughts yet he was still on the sofa, staring at the other brown eyed male, who supported eyebags under his eyes and a tired smile.
"What's all this?" Asked Tsukishima, pertaining to the clean apartment and the table that has been set.
Hinata looked down and played with his fingers, a sign that he's nervous and worried about what Tsukki thinks about his mini surprise.
"I— just wanted to surprise you 'lil bit, y'know? You've been working really hard, you're schedule's been full, you've barely rest—" Hinata's rambling was cut off by /tight/ hug from his man.
"Thank you." Two common words were said but Hinata's heart did triple backflips.
They stayed hugging for God knows how long, because to Tsukishima, resting meant having Hinata in his arms. He may never admit it verbally and would mask it with sarcastic retorts but his actions would say otherwise.

✍️ ; ICE CREAM
3:15am.
That's what the clock said. It's been hours since Shoyo had been studying for an upcoming quiz. He had to memorize all the parts of every sensory organ. It feels like he's taking up AnaPhy instead of Introduction to Psychology at this point.
Why'd he take up psychology again?
He wonders in a daze.
Looking at his tablet for hours hurt his eyes. Maybe it's time to sleep.
/But what if you forget the parts?! Go review for a few more hours!/
God, he hates his brain so much.
*new message from kei*
A notification from his phone is what broke him out of his reverie.
Kei: You still up?
Kei: I just finished my plates, almost had to redo it because I thought I fucked up with the border
Shoyo: Yeah, I'm still up! Just finished reviewing, just need a refresher.
Kei: Y'know you can do that after sleeping, right?
Shoyo: Yeah
Shoyo: But
Kei: Hush, go to sleep. I know what you're thinking. You're gonna keep on "refreshing your mind" until you can no longer sleep.
Kei: Go to sleep.
Kei: I'll treat you to ice cream after your quiz.
Shoyo: Fine.
Kei: Good boy.
Damn, where would Shoyo be if it wasn't for his boyfriend? College would've been so difficult for him. At the very least, he has his solace.

✍️ ; CONSTANT
The feeling of familiarity was what Kei and Shoyo have for each other. It was a result of their daily meet ups from the locker talks to the walk home talks with each other.
Being in different sections was hard for both. Their schedules kept clashing which led them to resorting to talk only when they had to go to their lockers before going home from school.
It was comforting on both sides. Knowing that the routine safely meddled within their daily lives ever since they got together. However, there comes the time where both are about to be sent off for college. It was hard.
Kei always dreamt of pursuing medical technology in another country while Shoyo wanted to take psychology at a nearby university.
The summer before the college send off was filled with fun and the constant running of time, scaring the two lovers.
Shoyo can't be selfish and refuses to be selfish because he believes that Kei's future is far more important than their relationship.
Their love can be reconciled later on but the opportunity for Kei to go abroad may never be present again.
As much as Shoyo wanted to say "stay" he could only mutter the word "go" as he lets Kei go and explore his skills and talents elsewhere.
The familiarity was gone but they were both sure that their love for each other is constant in growing

✍️ ; SWEET BLOOD
Surroundings seem to blur, Kei's eyes fixated on red glowing eyes urging him to follow towards a dark alley in the busy streets of Tokyo.
/Stop. It's dangerous./ The back of Kei's mind tells him but his body refuses to listen.
"Kei, darling~" The voice was filled with something sweet, Kei couldn't resist.
"Yes?"
"Give me some of your blood." As if broken out of hypnosis, Kei becomes aware of what he got himself into. Hands starting to sweat, heart starting to pound faster.
"What?"
"Darling~" Oh that sweet, sweet voice, laced with something calming yet deadly, "you should've known better than to follow a vampire."
Shit. How?
"You're... a what?" Kei asked, unsure, scared, and maybe interested?
Sharp fangs made a show, eyes glowing a brighter red, "A vampire, Kei. The name's Shoyo."
Shit. Fuck. Now, Kei's /really/ in a dangerous place. He's heard of it.
A thousand year old vampire, ginger hair, small stature, leading innocent civilians to their deaths by sucking all their blood, using his charm — or spell, whatever vampires have to get themselves fed.
It's scary. It's absurd. And now, Kei confirms it's real, being a soon-to-be victim.
He's trembling in fear. Rooted on the floor. Body once again not wanting to cooperate. It is surely one one of the vampire's spells.
"Oh sweetie, that's purely fear. I didn't need to use my powers at all." The vampire said, smiling, fangs seeming longer and threatening.
What? How did he—
"Read your mind? I have the ability."
"Yeah, well do you really trust books when it comes to creatures like us?"
Right.
Shoyo was in front of Kei, then suddenly, in a blink of an eye, he isn't. He's now breathing down Kei's neck, fangs close to piercing Kei's neck.
"I'm really sorry, pretty boy, but I have no time for chit chats, I'm hungry." The vampire's fangs pierced through Kei's neck.
A shout for help was expected. It really was. So why the fuck did Kei moan.
"Hmm? Pretty boy makes pretty sounds. I'll come back for you, your blood is addicting. It'd be a shame if I finish you in one go."
Shoyo disappeared just like that.
Kei was left in a daze, in confusion.
He'll get answers. He knows. Afterall, the vampire said that he'd come back for him.
But one thing really did bother Kei.
Why on earth did he moan in pleasure instead of pain? Sure, the vampire was more than attractive in his eyes but was that really enough reason?
He'll just have to wait and see during their next encounter.

my horimiya review
So once again I wasn’t super huge on the main couple. Not because they’re them but because I didn’t really care for them as characters to begin with. (my simpin ass only came for soft ucchi in romance setting and I got it so)
The whole “different side of them”/other persona thing was never really a thing I was interested in/
relate to. I don’t really see how Hori differed too much from her school life vs home but I don’t know why Miyamura even put on the appearance he did early on. Depression something something iunno
Like he let his hair down to cover the piercings but why also the glasses. And it wasn’t like he was trying to hide his “other look” from hori when she first saw him because he doesn’t pretend to be someone else and straight up tells her who he is.
Maybe I just don’t like how a person can be so drastically different but maybe it’s (again) japans social norms that really make it a big problem for them. Which I will never understand because I like to be true to myself, can’t relate. (YamaDai’s character in particular, how does that even work, why does he even have a different persona)
Back to HoriMiya as a couple, they’re fine. I think they’re trying to push for the “she wears the pants” thing and it’s okay and I don’t know if I don’t watch enough romances where this is actually refreshing or what.
What I don’t like is the sometimes gay jokes at Miyamura. Like I can’t tell if they’re being funny by being homophobic (joking about ishimiya) or it’s supposed to be an attempt at bi rep (miya brushing off the comment about them dating by downplaying himself), I highly doubt it’s the latter.
I honestly thought the ex bully was a closeted homophobe that’s why he hated Miyamura (the whole stuck in a closet dream sequence) and maybe that’s what they were going for but I wish they had more scenes of them actually getting closer after the cake shop scene. The next ep just had Hori saying they were too close. (WHEN???) So I can see they might be trying to do some lgbt thing (also with tiny hori fangirl whats her name) but none of it feels like it’s supposed to be serious. If maybe they had at least one lgbt couple that doesn’t involve horimiya maybe it’d be something.
Maybe I’m just mad because I was rooting for Sakura. I have a soft spot for the kind soft hearted megane girls and IshiYuki felt sooooo pair the spares in that friend group. I’m glad they did something a little different by not having them Out Right Date but it’s still end game.
Uhhhh my take away was the male friendships (miya and ishi are too sweet together) and sometimes the doki doki romance scenes that I am not immune to. Also OnoDaddy was fun and I liked the hori family claiming Miyamura. The show was funny enough that I wasn’t bored.
Actually thinking about it, I dislike all the couples in the show 🤣 I don’t hate the SengokiRemi couple I just hate Remi XP
