That kinda sucks, due old artstyle, but overall fine lol. I love how everyone were always dirty minded about it and got joke, and yet I was always thinking of this moment as… Grampus simply helping Lillie medically, and that she bleeds.

(Also Lillie is engineer\technician and operator working on lightship LV 117 Nantucket , while Grampus was naval warrant officer of the US Navy, and operator of midget submarine A-3)

Also everyone wonders how Lillie and Grampus scene would look like, which is obvious tbh, Lillie is injured and Grampus helps her by pressuring wound, wrapping bandage etc...

But I more wonder how the fuck this scene would make any sense, for them in Human AU???

Grampus getting blown up for his war crimes or got crucified lmao.

I actually tried to explain with request for suicide, from Grampus to Boreas (human name for Bluenose), because of pressure he got and stuff. But it ended up sounding too dark, depressing, overexplaining, and kind of cringe...

an interesting thing bout (my) ten cent's found family is that it's mostly one-sided on tc's part. he sees his co-workers as family but they see him as another important crew memeber.

of course their work-friendship bond is strong and important, it's just not a familial one and that's ok (yknow for the variety xd)

and yes, the ten cents-captain star relationship is quite complicated as to say it's very heartwarming and tragicomical~ one day I'll tell you bout it~

More TUGS scribbling and headcanons:

One of my oldest TUGS headcanons is Zorran being Zip's uncle, specifically his maternal uncle. I came to the conclusion after letting my mind wander, which led to Zorran yelling this at Zip.

Let's face it, loveable dumba$$ Zip was ever going to get a place in the Zero Fleet was by being related to one of the others. I picked Zorran as I always thought they looked the most alike.

Unfortunately, being a Z-Stack did result in Zip having to endure his uncle's temper fairly often.

Concept (unofficial design) of human TC in star member clothes. Inspired by nautical fashion of 1920-1939. Especially inspired by 1930′s cause nautical clothes had lots of stars on them (there’s also theory of TUGS actually taking place in 1930′s). Damn TC looking shorter than I planned

(Yeah I was inspired by Sailor Moon and Feivel... Also whenever you want search about fashion if 1920′s or 1930′s you mostly get woman or children, men’s sailor clothing seems not different from navy?? Also I will sound weird, but 1920′s children’s sailor clothes are more varied than adult’s, they’re more interesting ngl. Would be cool if there were for adult size to wear versions)
