obvs, the easy choice would've been Plant Life, with my entire huntlow series named after it, but i like a challenge. 😎

Love at First Sight is not just a great trope for this ship; it's an excellent song for them, too. the fumbling of first love mixed with the elegant violins just screams huntlow imo.

Hiyori headcanons while i impatiently await her tybw debut:

she's claustrophobic, and it gets worse when she's stressed out - she gets easily agitated about personal space when she's already upset. feels better when her skin is uncovered.

grows out her hair in honor of Hikifune, at some point, except she hates brushing it, so Hiyori keeps it pulled back in a ponytail most of the time.

likes to hang out at dive bars with live music. she spends a lot of her time making fun of them, ofc, but every once in a while she gets a nice surprise. plus, dive bars have great, greasy menus.

her love language is nagging, sharing space, and sharing interests.

sleeps on her stomach with one arm under the pillow

she was a child prodigy like Hitsuguya, taken in and trained by Hikifune, who saw straight through her bad attitude to Hiyori's soft, sweet center

doesn't remember or miss her time as a human, only her time with Hikifune

for me, the easiest way to get into the writing zone is music!! i have a playlist for every story i've got going on (here's my Fiveya playlist and my Zekina fic playlist), as well as a one for writing in general. besides that, i mostly just like to feel as though i've got the time to really sit down and write! i'm talkin a space of 3+ hours. 🤷‍♀️

a good rewatch will also get me in the mood to write, for sure! as you've bemoaned before, i do write for a few different fandoms, so i'll list some episodes from a few different ones!

Bleach: honestly..... just the Turn Back the Pendulum arc. seven glorious episodes of vizored backstory. 🙌🥳😭

Bob's Burgers: should i just link to a list of Zeke episodes?? maybe. my go-to's are Midday Run, UFO No You Didn't, and Broadcast Wagstaff School News (catch me foaming at the mouth over investigative journalist!Tina). maybe throw in some Slumber Party and Glued, Where's My Bob?, too.

The Owl House: this list got surprisingly long. keeping it short, Understanding Willow (Amity and Willow's complicated relationship - my beloved 💝), Escaping Expulsion, Any Sport in a Storm (ultimate Huntlow shipping guide right here babes), and all of S3 makes me vibrate out of my shoes with inspo, so far.
