In April, a war begun with LiveClan.

Deaths:

Puddlepounce dies in February when infection spreads in a wound after being hit by a car on a patrol.

Frogbounce is found dead near the LiveClan border in March.

Foxfish is killed by a coyote in April while on patrol with Willowsoot and Nectarshine.

Salmonskip is hit by a car in July and killed.

The same month, Claymask is killed by a wolf on a patrol... and is sent to the Dark Forest!

New members:

A loner brings a kit named Nacre to the clan as they are no longer able to care for them. They receive the name Nacrekit.

Ceremonies:

Violetmoon and Ranbumble get their warrior names in May.

In June, Raccoondash, Tumblebee and Driftsand became warriors.

In July, Striketalon was given his warrior name and gifted a rye stalk by one of his clanmates. Azaleashiver also recieved her warrior name.

Relationships:

In July, Rosethorn and Kestrelwatcher became mates!

Other:

A clanmate gave Lemonleaf some forget-me-nots to wear!

This headcanon is for anyone even if you headcanon Eddie's sexuality differently. I personally think he's bisexual but you do you, pretty little tumblebees. Buzz. Buzz.

Eddie is probably a super senior for a reason. You think he knows he is into men? Probably not. Meanwhile, Steve, who is used to hiding who he is from Hawkins by putting on the mask of King Steve and keeping it from his parents. . .yeah, that guy knows he likes men. He's confident, but he's never had the opportunity other than making out with Tommy a few times. Steve was pretty sure that Vickie likes women for a reason. I mean, other than being supportive of his best friend's crush. Meanwhile, Eddie's the kind of guy who thinks it's straight to think a guy's lips are very kissable. He doesn't question it.

You know, until the spring break from hell is happening, and suddenly Steve Harrington is taking off his sweater. The red alert is blaring loudly in his mind. The brain cells in his head are running around and screaming as the walls he built for himself are crumbling down. Suddenly, he's recalling every interaction he's had with a guy that he's had aggressive feelings about, like Steve in sophomore year. Oh God, he had a crush on the guy. Then he's pulling up the memory files on Billy. Nope, he definitely hated that fucker. Just like that, Eddie needs a smoke, and just like that, Robin is yanking it out of his hand. Which was probably a good thing, because they were probably ruined from his last trip through the lake.

So. After finally giving up on the TumbleBee, I decided not to replace it with another tumbler. One was really all I needed, I told myself, one tumbling load at a time really all I could deal with mentally and emotionally.

Alas, it was not to be so. I went to Target this morning, and they had a small hobbyist tumbler on sale for $40. It was a NatGeo tumbler, the same as my current one, but smaller. Small is good. It was cheap. I bought it.

The rocks that came with it happened to include several pieces of red and dalmatian jasper, and I happened to already have a few pieces of red and dalmatian jasper, and put together they all happened to make up a load just about the right size for the new tumbler's tiny little barrel. So, long story short, here goes another jasper tumble.

I'll probably have to move this load to a different tumbler if it makes it as far as the polishing stage. NatGeo tumblers are fast as fuck (probably because they're made for kids), which isn't great for polishing, and unlike the old NG tumbler, the new one does not have a speed setting. The TumbleBee, on the other hand, is painfully slow, so I may find a use for it after all.

I didn't last very long being away from Tumblr, I think I need my little tumblebees right now, anyway. It actually helps imagining being squished between my two favorite bi4bi idiots. GASP. BIDIOTS! 😆

at naptime, papa patton putting vee to bed with lullabies in the background and her star nightlight lighting up the ceilings and walls in multicoloured stars and crescent moons

and the baby isnt quite sleepy yet so they play rlly gently - patton is kneeling on the floor and resting his arm and chin on vee's crib barrier and holding one of her soft rattles above the bed and rsttling it softly and smiling even softer

because vee is on her back in bed with her oversized tshirt thats like a nightdress and her legs are bent up and just kicking lightly in midair and her diaper is poofy and cute and peeking out from her tshirt

and shes suckling her lilac sparkly paci and blinking slowly and squeaking and humming sleepily as she bats at the rattle a little, her hands reaching up and flexing her fingers as if trying to grab the rattle, but they keep falling back down to rub tiredly at her eyes and stroke her softie

patton starts gently singing a lullaby along to the plinky plonky music - "rock a bye baby" - and still shaking the rattle a little above vee's head so soft jingles sound from the bell inside

and his singing gets softer and lower and his smile gets softer and bigger as he sees vees hands arent reaching up for as long anymore and her paci isnt bobbing as fast anymore and her legs arent kicking in the air anymore and her eyes arent open anymore

by the time he finishes the second verse of the lullaby vee is curled up on her side, one hand still curled up by her face from when she was rubbing her eyes so adorably, and the other gripping loosely onto her softie

so patton stays there a while longer, just shaking the rattle and gazing at his baby and listening to the lullabies. and after a few minutes he knows vee is fast asleep, so he gently places the soft rattle by vee's pillow ready for if she wants to play with it when she wakes up. and he gets up with a click in his knees and leans down to press a loving kiss to vees head

"i love you, my sweet baby" he whispers before tiptoeing out and leaving the door ajar so he will hear her crying when she wakes up and pull her into the tightest warmest most adoring cuddle

I wasn't sure if this was too heavy for the other blog so I thought I I'd ask it here. If this is becoming a human au what made Janus decide not to take legal action to get vee back from patton when she ran away as a minor?

okay okai herr is a BIG explanation of some family history this isnt finalised i was just brainstorming it all with liv last nite but her we go

((btw the au is set in britain now aaaa))

i think the thing is - janus had vee at 18, vees mother i THINK abandoned them both very soon after vee was born , janus and her werent in a romantic relationship

janus struggled to take care of vee alone because he had no family he was in contact with (he himself ran away from home a couple years previously)

after a while of struggling to take care of vee - and a very stressful time with social services wher janus thought they would take vee from him , janus realised he had to find help

he tracked down vee's mother's father - who was american but living in britain, married to another woman, and had two other children , a woman and a teenage boy (logan)

logans older sister and her husband passed away a year after their twins (roman and remus) were born - the twins were put in the care of their grandparents (logans parents) UNTIL the grandfather (also the father of vee's mother) got dementia and his wife had to care for him fulltime

these parents werent the most compassionate - and so they put the care of the twins into their teenage son's care as soon as he turned 18. logan didnt know how to cope with both his sisters death, his dad's mental decline, plus his parents not being very supportive, and having to care for two children, so his best friend patton moved in with him to help him care for the twins

janus learned of al of this when researching the father of vee's mother (who therefore is logans half-sister) and on a panicked and desperate whim he tracked down patton and logan and basically begged them for help ,,

they became close over the few years , vee actually did grow up around the twins and patton and logan , but at some point remus decided he preferred janus to the caregivers he had (pat and lo) and they were all so close by that point they didnt see an issue with him moving into janus' place since they all were around each other so much anyway - patton a ctively encouraged remus to leave even though he was a minor becaus him and roman didnt get aong and also patton was worried about how stressful remus was for logan ... who he recently learned was struggling with an eating disorder

and by the point remus settled into janus' home, the adults started getting more distant as patton started helping logan with his ED and kept it a secret, janus became paranoid that they were going to basically abandon him and vee (and now remus) bc they were distant (his fear of abandoment comes from family history and from vees mother leaving them - and n the future from vee running away too)

so in retaliation janus pulled away too

but then a few years later when vee ran away and janus followed her to check she was safe - he saw her go to their house and saw patton bring her in , and he knew she was safe

so theres a lot of history that meant janus knew vee was safe to live with them - and technically he had remus in his care from when remus was a minor too so it wouldve been hypocritical if he had taken issue

but mainly he wanted what was best for vee even if it hurt him a lot
