started playing on turtle wow (vanilla+ community server not affiliated with blizz) and i've taken the approach of "if you can't decide what race you want your rogue, just try them for a few levels and see what sticks"

so far the results aren't very surprising: undead rogue just hits different (despite their absolutely rancid reputation lmao i'm a nice rogue i swear :3) it's just that their stealth animations are imho the coolest and gear looks great on them, especially in comparison to trolls who are my second pick/first pick for anything that's not rogue, it's just that their stealth animations SUCK and i cannot get over them :[

so if anyone sees an undead rogue called Zaharias, that's me!

Started playing the turtlewow private server made a tauren warrior, took out venture co fucks with another fellow warrior, and got paid 50 silver by a hunter that needed help taming a swoop.

Already a better community I've interacted with.

me and my GF are thinking of playing WoW because of you! any tips for getting started with turtlewow?

omg that makes me so happy!!

Ok ok, so like, one of the best tips I can give you is, as soon as you hit lvl 10 head to the Darkmoon Faire! theres a quest there to get a mount whose speed scales with your level, being as fast as a normal mount by the time you hit 40!

and its super duper cute to boot!!!!

Next best tip I can give you is join a guild asap cuz on turtle wow guild tabards act as secondary hearthstones (if your guild has a guild house set up, which costs 5k so def check if the guild youre joining has one before joining if thats important to you!)
