Alita moved a metallic hand up to her face to tuck the right side of her hair behind her ear. There’s a frown on her lips and her head is tipped down, back leaned against the brick wall and her arms wrapped around her legs, the damascus blade rested beside her. Her eyes are focused down so to try and hide a build up of tears. 

Looking at the stars wasn’t of any interest to her tonight. “ I wish things could go back to how they used to be. ” If Alita could have it her way, she’d want to go way back to when she still had Hugo. But right now, she’d be happy if she could just have Ido back. “ I had to kill someone I loved, ” Her voice faltered. “ I miss him. ”

Her struggle was faltering. One hand held her gun, the other had a shaky grip on her knife - but Beth was alone and the walkers were too many. There were not enough bullets left, and she was beginning to accept that these were the last moments of her life. Her breath was fast and DESPERATE and she groaned as she buried her knife on a walker’s forehead. Beth kicked the thing in its stomach to force it backward and retrieve her knife, but in the midst of that scuffle, the others had the time to get closer. 

She shot one of them, but that was hardly enough to save her. Beth was one short second away from giving up when she heard another shot behind her. She might just make it after all.

Idek what to say!!! Sara is someone I can’t even describe. Writing wise, she is amazing and lovely to plot with, always creative and rly gets into her work and that shows. And ofc she gives me bethyl 24/7 so who could complain at that. 1000/10 would recommend always

PERSONALLY THOUGH. She has been like my ride or die person for like 6.5 years now (we’re getting so fucking old and i hate it). She is vry funny but also a shoulder to cry on (hence the times we have drunken cried on skype together lmao). We met in one of the most randomized ways on the internet, and ended up being like the same exact person?? Seriously, after a while it gets scary how similar we are or our lives are. standing tall in his the older male’s midst , nick’s eyes darted elsewhere as his surrogate father softly interrogated him . the young martyr had proved time after time why he was a survivor , but deep down behind that warrior exterior laid the interior of just a teenager , a teenager who wishes things were normal again .

      he didn’t even get to finish high school , see his friends who probably think he’s dead right now . this was the middle of the goddamn apocalypse but he could care less , whenever she was around him she was all he could ever think about , damn him and his teenage hormonal tendencies .

      ❛  uhm … uh , no ?  maybe … i don’t know , are you spying on me  ?  ❜  he tried to change the subject , placing his hands on his hips trying his best to portray an old sassy woman , his face playfully scrunched .

“I know that,” he breathed, his voice shaky, “are you saying you’re not worth it?” he asked. In his eyes, she was worth it, someone else’s life was always worth more than his own. It was just the way he was.

“It might not come to that,” he tried reassuring Karin, “it works, I know it does, it’s worked before,” he added, this time reassuring himself everything would be okay.

This was the best plan to get them out of the mess they found themselves in, the rotten smell of the dead filling the air. It was a smell Luke had never gotten used to, even though it was something he smelled every day. Covered head to toe in walker guts was different though he supposed.

Clementine had done this all by herself when she was just 9 years old, this had to work. She walked out of a city filled with walkers like this, there’s no way on earth that this wouldn’t work, right?

No time for being nervous or apprehensive now, it was time to leave. Taking hold of Karin’s hand, Luke prepared himself, taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly.

“Ready?” he asked, a small squeeze of Karin’s hand in reassurance.

    That question should not have hurt. Something predictable, she must have known he would say something like that... But she did not have an answer to give. A part of her (a big one) thought about her own survival in the first place. Always. The thought of someone dying for her, on the other hand, seemed simply wrong. Her life had cost the lives of others, just like the other survivors. But in her case it seemed terribly cruel, because some of those lives she sacrificed herself, and she felt a morbid satisfaction on occasion. She could not say that, Luke could not think she was a monster. ❝ Maybe. If you compare with some people, I certainly am less helpful. ❞ They had to be practical. Karin was myopic, self-destructive, volatile. Just learned to deal with walkers with some effort. She was bad at cooking, sewing, any useful domestic activity. A complete disaster.

    Soon that technique was not unknown to her. It was easier to disguise herself with that rot than to cross the horde with a weapon, to be an impossible destroying machine. ❝ We can do this, just be fast. ❞ If it were possible she would run. Being so close to the walkers was horrible, breathing harder and they would realize the strategy. So she did her best to cover her clothes with guts, even the face, so she had no problems. When Karin finished, only her glasses remained clean. Standing next to Luke, she took his hand, squeezing for courage. Good thing the skin was sticky, or he’d notice she was sweating. ❝ Let’s go. ❞ She took the initiative, the first step in the directon of the horde. An attempt to be brave, but still cautious, since she walked very slowly, avoiding bumbing into any of them.
