Here she was in the Lavender Lounge, after another long afternoon and evening filming for tonight's show. With her work done for the day, she'd shed off the studio's image of her and replaced it with her own style and comforts.

The nice part was that she'd been coming here so long that her presence wasn't a novelty anymore. The regulars that came in the off hours, like herself, usually left her alone, save for the occasional gush over herself or a celebrity she'd had on recently. But usually, all she did here was enjoy the music, the drinks, and the people-watching, and that suited her just fine.

Vanessa spotted one of the regulars come in, someone who'd caught her eye on more than one occasion. Pretty, with stunning eyes, but she'd never actually spoken to them. So for now, like most nights, she'd just keep to herself, and finish her drink before she made her way home.

Kat knew that Deion and his mother were close, which wasn't uncommon considering the hardships they'd endured together. All she wanted was for Deion to have the chance to get to know his father better- now that all parties were aware of the situation.

"I mean I don't think she'd want to live WITH us. But maybe we could invite her over for dinner, and talk to her about all of us moving to Dunwall?"

With his old friend being injured, and the news of his father's death fresh, Anansi went to go check in on the old god of war and justice. He really felt like he was doing the rounds lately, between Ima and her kids, and now her brother.

➤ Nova actually smells of different things. It various from what her mood is and what she could get to in the mornings.

For a few weeks, she could smell like vanilla and roses. Another few weeks, she might smell like coconut and a beachy smell.

There's honestly no signature scent for her at all. To others, there might be because she does wear these scents for a while and they might associate something with her.

🥝 How much body hair do they have? Do they prefer to remove it, groom it, or go au naturel?

➤ A lot.

Due to her ethnics, Nova has a tendency to have a lot of body hair. Arms, legs, you name it.

Depending on what she is doing - aka any activities she is doing - she will likely try to remove certain body hair. If not, she will groom it and make herself look more presentable.

Between being both the big-name interview and the musical act for the show, Vanessa wanted a moment to chat with the bands frontman, Skyler just to make sure they were on the same page before the interview. Of course, they'd met briefly before, but she always wanted her guests to feel safe on her show. That meant she needed to know what they felt comfortable answering and what was off-limits.

She was working in her office when her assistant brought Skyler to the open door. Vanessa stood up, her smile wide as she went to lead him in.

"5 stars joints are lost on me. There is something so tasty and simple about beef, beans and cheese nuked up. I feel you, that's comfort food."

Ross got out of the car, opened the back door on the driver's side, grabbed the coat, and handed it to her. He shut both doors as he read the pump number. He turned to start walking toward the building.

"Hey, anytime. If you also want something to eat, I'll pay. It's not like a five-star restaurant, but I loved gas station burritos before my affliction."

Sorry for my low muse lately. Unfortunately a few days ago a good friend of mine, Crow, @strictlycanon & @strictlyoc, passed away. I'm not sure when I'll be back or when I'll be writing again.

Crow was the most wonderful person, and despite the hand she was dealt, she persisted. She was the sweetest human being, and I am sending thoughts and prayers to her family, friends, and my fellow roleplayers who had the pleasure of writing with and befriending her.

You will be missed, Crow. Until we meet again 🌹

     When Riley returned to his office, he was surprised to see a young girl there. Had she made an appointment that he forgot about? It was a possibility as he was overworked by the fireflies in an attempt to find a cure.

    “It’s all good... But is there something I can do for you?”

She had only just woken recently and her heart hasn’t stopped racing yet, she could feel it pounding in her chest. She didn’t want to be here, but they wouldn’t let her leave. They took all of her shit, the only thing they left in the room for her was her stuffed bear. After she was awake, some guy brought her here, chucked a clipboard on the desk and told her to stay. 

She knew the symbol, heard the name a few times from her father. Fireflies. He never really said much about the group though. Running into a few of them in the city was the last thing she ever thought would happen. She shot at them before one of them knocked her out. 

The only thing she touched in the office was the clipboard that got thrown to the desk because she wanted to see what it was. They knew she’s been bitten; twice. When someone came back in the room her heart nearly popped out of her chest, and she dropped the clipboard on the desk before turning around to see yet another new face. 

She initially told him she hadn’t touched anything, and she didn’t — nothing that was already in here, anyway. ❝ I don’t know, some asshole brought me here and told me to stay. They won’t let me leave. ❞
