She quickly kissed at the griffon’s cheek and shifted around enough so that Twib ended up resting her feathery head on her pink lap. While both of her hooves gently stroked at Twib’s face, Double Delight used her telekinesis magic to get out a brush and started brushing her companion’s fur as well.

“So..How have you’ve been these days Twib? Good I hope.“

In the metal town of SlagsEnd everyone is hardened and use to the sandstorms and smell of burning metal. Populated by dragons and ponies alike the town is bustling center of trade and craft. One earth pony named Scarlet hearth goes about her daily routine of working her forge and filling orders for weapons and daily armor repairs. Hammering at her anvil Scarlets work sends smoke and flickers of flame spilling into the alleyways as she works.

"Ash an smoke! ah've bee-yn waitin' days for that earlier order paymehyant. Ah've 'alf a mahnd ta refuse any orders from 'em high-falutin' royal guards in canterlot! but this hair axe is turnin' out daisy though at least that's a daisy thang 'appenin' todee"

Continuing with her work Scarlets hair began getting all covered in smoke and her facd battered with spots of ash, sweat, and sand from the recent sandstorm.
