Recantation. Season premiere. Part one. Four months after he Justine resigns as press secretary, Lysander and Findlay try in vain to get Drummond to hire her back.

Penance. Season premiere. Part two. To show that she will not be coming back to the White House any time soon. Justine recommends her old communications professor to replace her. First appearance of Aisha Tyler as Professor Lily Olsen.

I’m okay. Drummond meets with the new head of the CIA to discuss how to improve the agency. First appearance of Raven Symone as Director Carla Coburn.

Blighty. Findlay convinces Drummond to help the uk when a French commercial airliner crashes into the English Channel. Guest starring Miranda Hart as Director of MI6 Lady Galatea Downey and Warwick Davis as Deputy Director Ogden Davison.

Hey diddle, diddle. The team hung down Mother Goose, a serial killer who uses childhood nursery rhymes in her grisly murders.

This way Louise. Part one. Barnaby and Jonah try to help a British expatriate who’s hearing voices urging her to do something terrible. Guest starring Emilia Jones as Lady Louisa Balzac.

Inside breaking out. Part two. Barnaby and Jonah get their parents on side when Louisa’s mother gets involved. Guest starring Anna Chancellor as Theresa Balzac, Eighth Duchess of Brixton.

They expect you to be there. Findlay faces off against a woman whose motto for child rearing is “they’re on their own once they’re out of the womb”

Becalmed. Season finale. Part one. While on their much needed vacation Coleman and Solaris have to call in the rest of the team when they get word of a fishing trawler lost and in the path of an incoming hurricane off the New England coast. Guest starring Christian Borle as trawler Captain Abraham Finster.

Wall of water. Season finale. Part two. The race is on to save the trawler. Meanwhile Drummond makes preparations for his final year in the presidency. Guest starring Jeremy Shada as future president Robbie Guilroy.

The Biograph Theater, 814 W. Grace Street, Richmond; c 1973.

The movie showing is The Devil and Miss Jones. The Devil and Miss Jones is a 1941 comedy film starring Jean Arthur, Robert Cummings, and Charles Coburn.

The long line is due to the people thinking they were going to see a x-rated movie called, “The Devil In Miss Jones” and not the way that was actually playing.

The Biograph Theater:

The Biograph opened on the evening of February 11, 1972. The feature presented that evening was a delightful French war-mocking comedy — “King of Hearts” (1966); Genevieve Bujold was dazzling opposite the droll Alan Bates.

The Biograph Theater screened classic Hollywood films with art house and foreign films. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” ran consecutively at Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights from June 30, 1978 until June 25, 1983.

The theater was a franchise of the Washington, DC, based Biograph Theater and was located down the street from the Lee Art Theater. Although it had a tough beginning, the Biograph found success with long runs of X-rated and cult films such as “Deep Throat” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” until it closed in 1987. TC Since 2016 you’ve been part of an art writing collective called Yellow Pen Club while also building a career as a critic. It seems you’ve found a way to bridge the collective and individual narratives of your youth.

JY I didn’t realise it at the start, but YPC is rather peculiar. We aren’t just copy-editing and commenting on completed writing; we participate throughout the entire process, from choosing what to write about to when and how to finish a text. The way we engage in one another’s texts also applies to how we run YPC SPACE, a gallery and programme space we opened earlier this year.

TC Even before opening YPC SPACE, the collective held workshops and programmes for the general public. As you wrote on SEMA Coral, the Seoul Museum of Art’s site, earlier this year, the workshops train participants to meticulously describe artwork, establish multiple physical viewpoints and also capture its environment. The goal is to produce art writing that’s ‘faithful to the senses’. And the means of achieving it is through ‘mutual editing’.

JY These methods are also important to my own writing process, but they’re not the only components. A certain shape of window on my computer monitor, the environment and ambience, the publications around me – as I mention in my essay, ‘writing is a collective dance of all these things’.

THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER (1941)

"The Play is the thing" pronounced by William Shakespeare in one of his writings so long ago that we don't know what he is talking about today. We have so many ways of listening and seeing and or listening and seeing that we do neither but what we are told. We are forgetting how to think because a lot of people are trying to do that for us, that is, the thinkers who have been taught by the thinkers in an everlasting mirror image reflecting its own image in another mirror mimicking itself infinitely. Perhaps this is what is meant by AI, that is, artificial inteligencie, and there are are some zombies that wash their brains everyday with the Television forgetting who we are. Here is an example. A classic. A short story made into a lot of medias. I want to take you to base roots, the short story itself latter turned movie. The audiobook is subtitled so you can follow along. Start there and later watch the movie and above all, think, think of what you have read and heard and latter seen. It will help you become human again. OH! And watch out for the Devil in miss Jones. Perhaps, before getting into the story, we should be asking ourselves who the hell is this grim good fearing looking dude Daniel Webster. I'll be brief.

Daniel Webster (January 18, 1782 – October 24, 1852) was an American lawyer and statesman who represented New Hampshire and Massachusetts in the U.S. Congress and served as the 14th and 19th U.S. Secretary of State under Presidents William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, and Millard Fillmore. Webster was one of the most prominent American lawyers of the 19th century, arguing over 200 cases before the United States Supreme Court in his career. During his life, Webster had been a member of the Federalist Party, the National Republican Party, and the Whig Party. He tells of a New Hampshire farmer who sells his soul to the devil and is later defended by a fictionalized Daniel Webster, a noted 19th-century American statesman, lawyer and orator. The narrative references real events in the lives of Webster and his family.

The Devil and Miss Jones is a 1941 American comedy film directed by Sam Wood and starring Jean Arthur, Robert Cummings, and Charles Coburn. Its plot follows a department store tycoon who goes undercover in one of his Manhattan shops to ferret union organizers, but instead becomes involved in the employees' personal lives.

With a screenplay by Norman Krasna, the film was the product of an independent collaboration between Krasna and producer Frank Ross (Jean Arthur's husband).
