March has been a very challenging month for me — from the first 2 weeks where my mom was admitted to the hospital while me & my brother stayed by her side; to my mom passing away later on due to kidney failure. During those times I asked for help & received a lot of doodle commissions. Since the past weeks have been pretty busy and difficult for me & my brother, I've been trying to pace myself so that I could go through them slowly.

I don't have any other source of income and since I can't take new commissions at the moment, I've put up 3 PDF doodle compilations in my ko-fi shop to help fund me & my brother's budget for our needs & expenses.

What does your Character think of Raphael? (39)

Despite what he says, there's nothing necessarily better about the devil you know versus the devil you don't. Synne does not trust him but is of a mind that there must be something at play that made a powerful devil reach out to them and make introductions, rather than wait until their little troupe be desperate enough to turn to the infernal as a last resort.

She IS charmed and intrigued as to the attention, but it's more of a puzzle to be figured out now, but she knows it will eventually be a trap they will need to save themselves from before long.

Has your Character done anything that they regret in Act 1? (35)

Literally almost everything. Especially early on in Act 1 she does not want to be here. She was snatched from the streets of Baldurs Gate to play emissary (and to potentially meet someone very important to her and her family...) and instead she's been thrust into adventure. Every step to help the Grove, to help the Tieflings, to be the one to figure out how to take the worm out? Is a step in the wrong direction. She would have much rather let others deal with this and been on her way (maybe after some revenge on the lingering Illithid presence.)

But she mourns her inaccessibility of her old life, she regrets not being able to go back to it now that she's in this adventuring party...

But it's growing on her.

Do you have a favorite member of the Tiefling Refugees? Is it the same as your Character's? (9)

I pershunally loved Mattis, the little hustler. Synne's favorite is Arabella. She adored that she was willing to break some rules to do what she thought was right, and it reminds her of a younger her back when she delighted in the exuberance and chaos of her burgeoning connection to the Weave.

Who ended up in your Character's most used party? (27) (And what are these dynamics!)

Astarion, Shadowheart, and Gale! If we kill things fast enough we don't need to plan for longevity or survivability! In terms of dynamics! :

Astarion: He's the most familiar to her insomuch that she's used to foppish kind of rakes from the high society I imagine she comes from. So even in his casual cruelty he's a welcome familiarity and relief - and also he seems to have as much fun as she does when it comes to adventuring around. Meaning, not a lot at all. She flirts with him, he flirts with her, she's fairly sure the two of them both don't mean it but it's fine, it's fun, and it's once again familiar. But she doesn't necessarily care to see more until far later in the Act, but she moved past all that once the flattery got too on the nose with how little they really mean it.

She does like him but she's not sure if he actually likes her.

Shadowheart: Probably the most similar to herself in disposition. Which makes them butt heads. Out of the rest, she can appreciate SH's stoicism and control when it comes to her interactions; she plays her vulnerabilities and personal thoughts close to her chest and Synne appreciates that because it's what she does. Synne very much earns the title in Act 1 of ice queen, but I believe quicker than the others, she can see the similarities in SH and does not continue to let them be barriers to finding commonality and even a bit of friendship.

The zealotry is a big red flag tho.

Gale of Waterdeep: There was a spark in the initial meeting when she literally was knocked off her feet, trying to pull him out of the ruined portal, upon first meeting him. But then he announced himself to be one of the most cocky, headstrong, definition of wizarding hubris and she could not stand him when they set each other off when it came to their magical capabilities. Imagine championing that you have to work hard to make magic work, and being proud of that fact. Her pride as a sorcerer colored a lot of interactions with him until they both managed to stop belittling one another and instead find commonality in their love of magic...As well as some unanticipated (and first ever) connection to someone that made her understand when he said a "sudden heartbeat" could be worth more than kingdoms.

She was vindicated when she heard about his brand of Wizard Hubris, but finds herself still wanting to help...

3.Who does the baby follow around more?

aeryn was obsessed with royce as a young child and wanted to follow his father everywhere, wanted to hold his sword or pat his horse or just be with him. royce ... was an awkward father though, and so saella ended up scooping aeryn up and bringing him back to their quarters in the red keep more often than not. juliana was the complete opposite of her older brother and would happily sit in her cot or with her nanny in the corner, although she often cried for saella as a very young child.

4.Who is the one the kids call out to when they’re looking for something?

saella most of the time. royce was often away during the day tending to his duties, whereas saella would often remain behind with the children, so she was often on hand to help. honestly though, the nannies were probably more reliable with this kind of thing than either of their parents adfjgsdf, especially since saella was often called away to court at a moment’s notice, to help diffuse one of daemon’s fires usually. 

5. Who’s constantly up checking on the baby in the middle of the night (even when the baby is sound asleep)? 

royce, especially with juliana. saella struggles with falling pregnant a second time, and so by the time juliana was born saella and royce were both so glad she was finally here. royce would often be found by the servants standing with his infant daughter bundled in his arms and speaking softly to her in the early hours of the morning. 

7. Who trails behind the baby to make sure they don’t fall? (And then has to console them once they inevitably do.)

saella, although royce would do it too - saella just had the luxury of spending more time with the kids when they were little. aeryn was proud even as a toddler and absolutely hated being helped, whereas juliana would sit quietly and cry whenever she tripped. it didn’t help that aeryn almost entirely skipped the crawling stage, and was stumbling around the red keep at barely a year old. 

B.What was their first night as new parents like?

warm and happy, for the most part. they were both only young at barely nineteen and the love was not quite there yet between them, but it was a happy moment regardless. royce made sure to be present for the birth despite the maester’s protests, and was the first to hold aeryn. that night saella insisted on aeryn sharing their bed, if only for the night, and royce ensured no servants would disturb them while they basked in the happy (screaming) warmth of their first child. 

C.Did their relationship change once they became parents? How?

yes, definitely. if anything, having children solidified their relationship and helped them both form some kind of love. saella likes seeing royce with the children, liked seeing how protective and patient he was with them. royce liked seeing the gentle kindness saella offered her children, gentleness that she offered few others. it strengthened their bond as a couple, both politically and emotionally. they also bonded a lot over saella’s fertility struggles when they were trying to conceive juliana.

hi im just here to rave about ‘hey son, i killed your daddy’ ive read it like four times and there are no words for how much i love it there are 6 separate Great Moments despite it being such a short fic! you really made it feel emotional despite all of the various emotional hang ups gojo and megumi both have its quickly skyrocketed to being my fave gojo & megumi fic theres such a lack of them unfortunately thank you so much for writing it!!! im also excited to read you other longer fics as soon as my irl calms down but im positive i’ll love tpg too!!!

!!! omfg this message is such a nice surprise! i feel like that fic is the quintessential piece of writing for me. sums up who i am in 5,664 words. gojo & megumi's dynamic is so so precious to me, and i really wanted to do them justice. i was pretty new to jjk at the time and put a lot of thought into it...i was worried i'd mess up their characterizations, but i'm super proud of how it turned out!! if you do read tpg, i hope you like it -- there are a lot of parallels within tpg and hsikyd, so keep an eye out for 'em!! thank you for this awesome message :'))))
