#ultraman oc: Shio

(Link to site if anyone wants to use it) It's my first time using picrew. I used it to make my Ultraman OCs, This it kind of what I'd picture them looking like, not rock solid but close enough, I really got to get around drawing them myself…]

Starting from the top: we got the Morimoto twins: Nayaka (left) and Mile (Right) their ages are equivalent to a young adult in their early to mid 20s.

Nayaka and Mile are two genetically modified clones of two ultramen that were created on Earth as Anti-Kaiju weapons before being rescued by Anne Yuri and the Ultra Guard. Nayaka's genetic donor is Zoffy and Mile's donor is Leo. Of course neither Zoffy or Leo knew about their existence until recently.

Second row: We got Akari Yuri (left)the teenage daughter of Anne Yuri and Dan Moroboshi (Ultraseven) her age is 54 but but due to her being half alien she ages very slowly so physically she looks around 15 years old.

When she was around 6 Anne passed away; no one knew who her father was since Anne kept it a well guarded secret.

Akari was put into the foster system until they found out she was an alien or at least half-alien, when they noticed she wasn't aging like a normal human would; And Akari was quickly transferred to the Alien Refugee District, She grew up in the slum's orphanage where she was often bullied and ostracized by the other kids and staff due to her human appearance. The scar on her face is from fighting with the older kids at the orphanage before running away at 13.

Next to her we got Z's childhood friend Nieve(Right). She's around 5,000 years old. and is a Cyexian-Ultra hybrid but takes heavily after her Cyexian mother. Nieve is Ultraman Hikari's niece and is an amputee she lost her left arm in an accident.

She currently works as a lab assistant for her uncle Hikari.

(My oc aliens: Cyexians are species of of humanoid aliens who are renowned for being for being some of the best scientists and doctors in the galaxy.)

Final row: We got the aunt & niece duo: Shio (Right) and Reiya (left) in their human forms. Shio and Reiya are from almost extinct race of aliens known as the Zodlestials, whose planet was destroyed when their sun exploded leaving the two of them the last survivors they are… or rather were part of the royal family before the planet's destruction.

Shio's age is around 4,798 which is the equivalent to a young human in their mid-teens. While her aunt Reiya's age is equivalent to an adult human in their 30s.

Reiya was a scientist on her planet and briefly worked with Tregear for a solution in slowing down her Sun's expansion years before his descent into darkness. Reiya's alien form is based of the zodiac sign Scorpio.

The scars on Shio's body are from her aunt using her as a guinea-pig for her experiments before she managed to escape. Shio's alien form is based off of the Ophiuchus and Serpens constellations and her Kaiju form is based off of Jörmungandr.

[Another oc species: Zodlestials (I based them off of the constellations and zodiac signs) they were an introverted people who were wary of all outsiders but reluctantly they sought outside counsel when they noticed that their sun was rapidly expanding without explanation; threatening to wipe out all life on the planet.]

Hiroyuki : How long does it take before you start hallucinating from sleep deprivation?

Fuma: I think—

Shio, with heavy bags under her eyes: Seventy hours...

Taiga: How do you know that?

Shio, slurring her words: There's a clown behind Hiro-kun.

{The tri-squad and Hiroyuki turnaround expecting to see nothing but instead they see Kirisaki standing in the rainy street behind them waving and smiling manically before disappearing when a bus drives by.]

[Fuma, Titas, Shio, Nieves Z and Geed are hanging out together when they find Akari’s Slugger axe wedged in a stone pillar, thinking she’s forgotten it Fuma decides to return it to her.]

Fuma: I’m sure Akari is freaking out about her...missing.... (pulls the handle.) Axe! rgh...*Keeps pulling* It’s stuck!

Geed: let me try! *Geed pulls at the axe and fails miserably*

Shio: Two’s better than one, right?

Nieve: Right.

*Shio and Nieve tried together...nothing....*

Titas and Beta Smash Z: Let’s go!

{They managed to move the axe a little bit, even their combined effort failed, then Fuma got the idea that they all do it together, they all grabbed the Axe’s handle and pulled... And for brief second it seemed like it was working, until they realized the axe wasn’t moving they were all slipping! the teens all fell back into a pile as Taiga arrives and looks down at his friends oddly.]

Taiga: What are you guys doing?

Titas, pointing at the rock: We found your cousin’s axe wedged into that pillar there!

Fuma: And we were trying to get it out...

Shio: But it’s either wedged in there good, or weighs a bejillion tons!

{Taiga sees Akari’s axe wedge into the stone pillar like they said, Taiga examines it for a moment before he reluctantly grabs the handle and gives it small tug, the axe comes loose with barely any effort, Taiga looks at them all baffled.]

Nieve: What?

Geed: How did you do that?

Taiga: Whaddya mean? I just picked it up!

Fuma: But when we tried to pick it up it -Woah!-

*Fuma went to take the Axe from Taiga and was suddenly was pulled to the ground by the shear weight of it.*

Shio: Taiga pick up the Slugger Axe...

Taiga, again picks the axe up like it weighs nothing: Seriously is this a prank? cos it’s not funny.

Shio:...Huh, neat.

Z: What is?

Shio: I think I figured out why Taiga can lift the axe, but we can’t. but just to be sure...*looks around and spots someone* Hey, master Regulos? Taro? can you help us?

Regulos, coming up to them: Yes?

Taro: what is it?

Shio: Master Regulos, can you hold my friend’s axe for a moment?

Regulos, as Taiga hands him the axe: I don’t see why no-Ack! *gets pulled down by the sudden weight* What the??? *Tries to lift the axe but fails* 

Shio: Okay...Master Taro?

[Taro reluctantly grabs the axe and picks it up with no effort at all]

Regulos, stares in disbelief: What?

Taro, twirls the axe around: *Hums*

Shio: thought so...

Geed: C’mon tell us!

Shio: I think only people who are biologically related to Akari can lift the axe...

Taiga: Like how the AI in Reiya’s lab back on earth would only activate with your blood sample?

Shio: Right.

Titas: So, Besides Taiga and Taro both Zero and Ultraseven can lift it too?

Shio: Well yeah, They’re Akari’s brother and father all. 

(Taiga notices the mischievous glint in his father’s eye)

Taiga : Dad? Are you going to use Akari’s axe to play a prank?

Taro: What??? No!.....

Taiga:....

Taro, shifty eyes:  I’m just going to return this to Seven’s daughter now...*Flies away*

Taiga: He’s totally going to use the axe to “test the strength” on the other ultra-brothers...

{The others nod in agreement.)

[After Shio got yeeted back in time by Reiya and Tregear.]

Hiroyuki: Well done, Taiga! You’re handling this whole thing rather well.

Taiga: I don't think I am, Hiroyuki.

Hiroyuki: Then you’re freaking out in the most useful way possible. Keep it up.

[A few days later a starving, dirty and dishevelled Shio shows up on Hiroyuki's doorstep. everyone especially Taiga is overjoyed and asked how she found her way back?]

Shio, finishing off her fifth helping of curry: Oh, I didn't.

Titas: Then how are you back here?

Shio: Well, once I figured out I was trapped in the past with no way to return... I had no other choice but to wait it out.

Fuma: What do you mean?

Shio: So, you know how I have 3 forms this human form, my alien form and my kaiju serpent form? *Everyone nods* Well, I took my serpent form; found a nice cave to curl up in and took a very long nap....

Hiroyuki: So you've been sleeping the past hundred years?

Shio: Yeah, I just woke up yesterday... Did I miss anything?

Taiga, with his arm around Shio's shoulder: So, what should we do for the rest of our triple date night?

Grigio, clinging to Titas: Ooooh, we could go axe throwing!

Fuma, shaking his head: No, they asked us not to come back after the Akari incident.

Akari, flustered: In my defence, no one told me I couldn't use my slugger axe...

[During a fieldtrip to Earth, Taiga and Shio (both in their human forms) are sitting on a bench looking defeated, Mirai (Mebius) wonders why they aren’t with their classmates and goes to check on them.]

Mirai: There you two are I w....Why do you guys look so sad?

Taiga: Sit down and we'll tell you sir...

[Mirai sits down and feels something wet on his hands he looks down and sees his hands are black.....]

Shio: …. The bench was freshly painted.

-The ultra kids are playing the quiet place game. Taiga is the alien, he walks into Seven's living room blindfolded, Nerf-gun in hand and carefully listens for any small noises.-

Z: [hiding under the coffee table, covers his mouth to hide his loud breathing}

Fuma: [hiding behind the lamp tenses up as Taiga passes him.]

Grigio: [is pressed up against the wall shaking, Taiga stops right in front of her, her jaw begins to quiver as Taiga raises his gun.]

-Zero's Pigmon comes waddling around; chasing after Akari's purple space rabbit, Taiga lowers his gun and moves on…-

Grigio, quietly exhales holds her chest and silently mouths out: Oh, my heart…

Titas: {Holds his breath and hides behind a chair as he watches Taiga pass by him.]

Geed: {crouched down behind a curtain, swallows as Taiga stands in front of him back facing him, he watches as Taiga moves to the dining room.]

-Everyone quietly moves to different positions while Taiga sweeps the dinning room where Zero, Shio, Nieve and Akari are hiding, Taiga thinks he can can hear Zero murmuring “don’t find me…don’t-” and walks toward his hiding spot next to the dish cabinet.-

Zero, Takes out his communicator and texts his sister: [(Thnx Sis!!)]

-Akari’s phone goes off, Taiga follows the noise as Nieve and Shio watch from under the table with their hands over their mouths; trying hard not to laugh.-

Akari, Trying to turn her phone’s loud ass vibration mode off, while mouthing out at her brother.: You cheating jerk!! 

-Zero sticks out his tongue and silently laughs at her, Akari gives him the bird as Taiga shoots her in the head with a Nerf-bullet, making her the next Alien… Oh! she was gonna get Zero for this!-

[Mile is fixing up Shio after a battle the researcher has the girl rest her head on a table and look at Taiga as she stitches a cut on Shio’s clavicle closed.]

Taiga, fussing over his girlfriend: is she gonna be okay doc?

Mile: Oh, don’t call me doc, I’m not a doctor, I’m a professor....

*Shio winces as she tilts her head up a bit to look at Mile incredulously*

Shio: uh...What’s that mean?

Mile, sucks her teeth and makes Shio look back at Taiga: Well, a doctor would heal you...Whereas myself has juust enough medical training to make sure you’re comfortable while you die!~

[Hikari hears this and chuckles as he checks Fuma and Titas over.]

Taiga:...

Shio: Mental note: don’t get hurt anymore.

[Taiga sneaking back into his house after a date with Shio(my oc) when the livingroom lights turn on causing him to freeze.]

Taro, turns his chair around to face his son: You wanna tell me where you've been?

Taiga: I was with... Master Mebius?

Mebius, spins his chair around: Wanna try that again?

Fuma, blushing and touching his forehead: .Did you....Did you just kiss me on the forehead?

Akari, mortified: I am so sorry, I’ve been babysitting my neighbors kids all week, as soon as I heard ‘ow’, I acted without thinking!

Fuma, dispirited: Oh....

Akari: Are you okay...You sound sad.

Fuma, mustering up the guts to confess: Uh, act-actually Akari I-....

{Fuma feels a chill go down his spine he looks over Akari’s shoulder and sees her older brother Zero watching him with a scary aura around him...]

Fuma: I have go meet Titas somewhere, see ya around?

Akari: Sure...

[Cut to Fuma getting a chop to the head by Taiga.]

Fuma: Ouch...

Taiga: Dude. You like my cousin? That totally goes against bro-code!

Fuma: How did you even-

Taiga: Zero told me he saw Akari kissing you, what the heck bro?!

Fuma: She didn’t mean to kiss me, it was an accident!

Taiga, scoffs: Oh, lemme guess... You tripped and your head just happen to land on her lips?

Fuma: Well...Kind of? I mean, did hit my head which caused her k-kiss me, so...

{Luckily Titas and Shio intervened before Taiga kicked Fuma’s butt.]

[Shio and the Tri-squad are watching sesame street.] 

Taiga, to Shio: Hey, is the Count a vampire?

Shio: What's that?

Titas: Well, he's got those big fangs. 

Fuma, butting in: Hey, have they ever shown him doin' somebody in and then feedin’ on them?

Shio’s brain is filled computer dial up noises:...

Shio: Y-You’re...You're asking me if they've ever done a Sesame Street in which the Count kills somebody and then sucks their blood for sustenance?

Taiga, Fuma and Titas: Yeah.

Shio:... No, they've never done that. (changes the channel.)

Hiroyuiki: Don't forget, we're gonna talk about my birthday.

Taiga: No problem. So, Hiroyuki, your birthday is Thursday. How old are you gonna be?

Hiroyuki: 22.

Shio: Man...I can't remember being 22, probably because at that age I was barely out of toddlerhood.

Hiroyuki:...

Hiroyuki: Remind me, how old are you again, Shio?

Shio: I'll be 4,798, in August.

Fuma: Heh, she's two years younger than you Taiga.

{4,800 is around mid teens in ultra years so Shio and Taiga are around 15-16 years old.]

Hiroyuki: Gosh! How would you even blow out that many candles?

Taiga: I don't think that'd be possible...unless?

Titas, Fuma, Shio and Hiroyuki: No.

{In case anyone's wondering Taiga's plan was to get a hold of 4000 candles, a blowtorch and a leaf blower.]

[While Reiya is putting some groceries away Tregear curious peeks on what she’s bought and noted a lot packs of Jerky, shake powder mix, instant meals...]

Tregear, taking a pack of Jerky from the bag: You bought a lot of protein rich food...

Reiya: Well, yes, I’m am a Scorpion and like that snake brat I’m carnivorous, I need a healthy protein rich diet...

Tregear, while getting a drink out of the bag: You know an awful lot about Taiga’s little girlfriend, way too much for it to be coincidental..*Take a drink*

Reiya: No surprise there...Shio’s my niece after all.

{Tregear does spit take a gawks a Reiya who looks at him expressionless.]

Tregear: Wh-

Taiga: What did you just say?

{Cut to Hiroyuki’s apartment where where Hiroyuki and the Tri-squad are gawking at Shio in disbelief.]

Shio: I said Reiya and I know each other because she’s my aunt...

Horoyuki: But how??? You’re a snake and she’s a spider?

Shio: Scorpion. Hiroyuki, and my species genetics are... odd, My grandfather was a Dragon and my Grandmother was a crane, when two different types of Zodlestians get together it’s like a slot machine you never know what the outcome will be.

Fuma: Wait, If I recall...Isn’t Reiya part of the Zodlestial the royal family?

Titas: Yes, She’s the current queen...

Taiga: Th- then that would mean Shio is...

{They turn and look at Shio stunned as she winks a gives them finger guns.]

Shio: I’m Shio the 1st last Princess of the Zodlestials  …And Niece of Queen Reiya the 3rd, yadda yadda…

Hiroyuki & Tri-Squad: HA?????

-cut back to Reiya’s pharmacy-

Tregear:...Doesn’t it bother you?

Reiya, cleaning up her kitchen: What?

Tregear: Going up against the girl? She’s your only family is she not?

Reiya: No, It doesn’t ...In fact, My one regret was not leaving her to rot on the dying Zodia with my sister...

Tregear: …Interesting.

Fuma: Great! Because We’re not. You two go without us. Enjoy your date!

[Fuma and Titas hi-five then run off.]

Taiga: Did they just-

Reiya: You must calm down. 

Tregear: I thought we talked about this. You’re supposed to support me when I want to kill someone!

Reiya, holding Tregear back from harming Hiroyuki, The tri-squad and Shio: Not in this instance, my darling!

{Tregear, Reiya, the Tri-squad Hiroyuki and Shio got trapped in a dimensional rift and Reiya begrudgingly realizes that they all need to work together in order to escape.]

Hiroyuki, helping an injured Shio: Quick, what’s your type?

Shio, holding her bleeding side: Bout the size of a skyscraper, cute little horns and a bit of a hothead-

{Cue Taiga’s projected form turning bright pink, while Titas and Fuma snicker at him]

Hiroyuki, facepalming : Blood. Type!

Shio: Oh....*Stares down at her glowing purple blood.)

Shio:....Glowstick?

[Cue Shio’s delayed healing factor kicking in,  the gash on her stomach closed leaving no trace behind, she was up and running around the next day like nothing happened much to her friends relief.]
