I have many feelings towards Seijirou that can’t be voiced but oh god this man deserved to get hit by Ulvida’s kick. Essentially manipulating a bunch of orphaned children to become soccer super soldiers is so wrong on so many levels. Pitting them against each other and give them ranks, sure that’s not gonna fuck up their self esteem and create a poisonous hierarchy.

Grief-stricken yes I get but dude?? Then going to adopt a boy that looks just like your dead son? Gosh I can’t even imagine what was hitomiko’s reaction to seeing this little boy was..

On the topic of Hiroto, whoo boy. I spent the remaining episodes just pissed off at Seijirou for being a piss poor dad. Hiroto is obviously very attached to him, but I gotta wonder if the love the old man showed him was just any misplaced fatherly love towards the image of his dead son he very obviously projected onto the kid. How tf did he treat Hitomiko? Dad is on your side until you voice your opinion, Hiroto you deserve a better father figure. All of Aliea deserves a parental figure that cared for them instead of seeing them as potential wells.

Fubuki recovered, which is good, but I feel like it was so rushed? Or is it better to say, wasted potential? The way Atsuya was treated as a sort of separate ‘persona’ that would disperse when Fubuki stabilized. I get that maybe they expected him to share on his own but look at him, all clammed up and frozen. If anything, the team not doing anything further added to the issue. It took the combined efforts of Someoka, Aphrodi and Gouenji to get to him, and 2 are hospitalized now. The way Gouenji worked with him is also kinda erm,, lowkey beating it out of him was a,, choice.

Kazemaru sweetie I beg of you keep the hair down for a little longer. But I also get where he was getting, Kazemaru joined soccer only to constantly suffer www (鬱丸 I now get). It’s a tad interesting that Kazemaru leaving, would be the tip off point for Endou. Bro was DEPRESSED. Gouenji, Someoka, Fubuki's whole breakdown, nothing phased this boy but oh suddenly Kazemaru leaving nearly sucked his soul out. But the ending didn’t really fix the issue?? How can you be sure that he won’t fall down a depression spiral bc inadequacy/being unable to keep up haunts him again,, or is that curse passed onto a different character now

Anyways having the World Cup (?) as the next arc is ???? I thought yall were the strongest team on Earth,, I saw my fuckass cat Fudou in the preview heehoo

For Hiroto, this means confronting old hurts and finding a new path in this changed world. 1. Midorikawa

He... I just... Love him.The sayings he uses and his ice cream hair is so silly I can't believe that he gave Endou nightmares 😭 bonus for the amazing performance

2. Saginuma/Desarm

Sassy ass, this man have a heavy chaotic energy, I just love how he has changed to a crazy mf who made Shirou collapse to a mf willing to kick anyone's ass to play in FFI. And it's really cool that he can play in multiple positions (goalkeeper is the best).

3. Hiroto

Why he's so pale someone pls give him some vitamins. It's cool how despite the meteorite, he continued to be kind and his character is very interesting. His orange coat gives me nightmares, it's so ugly please throw it away 😭

4. Segata/Zel

Saginuma's partner in crime. His design is beautiful and I really like the fact that he always at Saginuma side and trust him. And he have a hissatsu that uses the hands and no one complains about?????? Fucking legend

5. Reina/Ulvida

Powerful lady.

I love how she just didn't allow her dad to play crazy and forget how much everyone there gave their body and soul to that project. Badass, the ball should have hit him /j

its mean of me to say there was nothing about it in ie3 just because i dont care about midorikawa but i wish there was A LOT MORE... not only the upper teams looking down on lower teams even after the fall of aliea and the lower teams being particularly hard on themselves for being put so low in the hierarchy but also. remember genesis. remember how they were all trained since they were very little to become kiras perfect child soldiers but only kiyama got special treatment. remember how gran is only the captain of genesis because kira favors him, but the other members resent him for it. remember ulvidas coup in the final match and everyone following her orders instead of grans. sorry but thats crazy to me

The night before the fieldtrip, Doya has a dream She is running a detective agency with an assistant who is also a dog She hears a knock on the door, and a mysterious female figure in a red dress walks in Doya realizes that the figure is not effeminate at all, but is instead a humoid angelic figure made up of what appears to be stained glass She gets upset because it's Tostori, her angelic guide! Tostori offers to reconnect with her, and to make her a better person He claims that bullies are not popular, and good people are Doya disagrees He offers to play videogames with her in the dreamworld Doya refuses He offers to help Doya in exchange for her being good so he will look good to his angelic supervisers Doya refuses He offers to put in a good word to Angelika's guide for Doya Doya refuses Doya offers to claim to be good in a letter to her mom to try to make Tostori look good Tostori agrees, and leaves the dream Doya wakes up to Greta shaking her awake, since they're running late! The two run to the classroom, and take their seats Doya complains about her nightmare and how she is being plagued by an extraplanar entity with questionable motives Zoey, who clearly cannot relate to that, is concerned for her Nicollin discusses the Hat Man The conversation is interrupted by Professor Lang, who tells the class about what to expect on the fieldtrip She tells them that they're there to study flora, but specifically the Brackish Trudge The class heads off to one of the tower's elevators Zoey asks Puffcap what she wants to see in the fieldtrip She tells Zoey that she wants to taste the Brackish Trudge She assures Zoey that she already has a disease and so cannot get sick from it The class reaches the elevator, and are taken to the Witherbloom demiplane They pass through a door, and enter a massive swamp with towering trees lit by glowing pods As they enter, the door behind them turns into just a frame Rin and White are tormented by insects As they walk through the swamp, the professor tells them about ow Brackish Trudges are sentient masses of mushrooms that make their home in the plane Rin gives the bugs a taste of their own medicine The professor gives the class a pop quiz! Zoey gets the first one, but Angelique keeps taking all the other questions The professor then tells the class that their assignment is to get the sheddings of a young Brackish Trudge She tells the class to split into groups and search the area Our chosen group of course bands together, and searches the swamp Zoey spots a young Brackish Trudge, and attempts to get close enough to knock some mushrooms loose She instead angers it, and it charges her FIGHT! White decelerates it, Zoey snatches some loose mushrooms, Carmilla sacrifices Guillermo, Doya taunts, Rin shoots With their mushrooms collected, the group runs away RETREAT!

They hear the sounds of an adult Trudge in the distance, but don't see it The party clean themselves off with magic Zoey is heartbroken that Guillermo is dead Carmilla assures her that familiars come back The group return to the professor with their samples As they do, they hear the sounds of the adult Trudge charging them! The professor charms the creature, carefully takes a mushroom sample, and sends it back into the swamp Doya approaches Anjarika, and comments on how bad Witherbloom is Anjarika tells her that she's going to Witherbloom Doya retreats The professor gathers up the class, and takes them back to the classroom Time passes, and our chosen students attend their classes Carmilla has her History of Magic and Art class with Ulvida Mistcoiler, a genasi professor and Dean of Perfection for Prismari Dean Mistcoiler comments on Carmilla's painting of an elemental war, before commenting on Vladimir's painting After class, Carmilla asks about Vladimiar's painting Vladimir admits he's not willing to share what he made, but hints that Carmilla might like it because of her tie to the Orzkhov Union White has his Physical Education class, where Nadia has the students duel eachother White duels Sunny, who ultimately wins a rather close fight He asks Sunny where he learned to do that Sunny tells him it's just part of the academy training Zoey has her Archeomancy class, where she learns about Zerulf and its ruins After class, she talks to Tilana about the Silkball club Tilana admits that she's new to Silkball, but hopes her strategic skills will help her Zoey assures that she will, and is confident her abilities despite how small she is compared to the rest of the team Doya and Rin have their Magic Auras class Rin accidentally gives himself an Aura of Smiling Doya accidentally gives herself an Aura of Cooling A blue tiefling comes in to talk to Larksann and Professor Sharpbeak, and then leaves Dina is there to do classwork Doya tries and fails to get Rin to use his aura on other people She goes to the professor and asks for help dealing with her curse Professor Sharpbeak assures her it's not a curse, just a messed-up aura Doya is happy she did magic The week passes, the weekend arrives, and extracurriculars begin! Carmilla attends the theater club, which is led by Professor Totsky Carmilla fails to help Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III comments on Carmilla's slowness, and tells her to catch up Carmilla talks to Rubina, and tells her that she did well Rubina thanks her, telling her that she depends on people like Carmilla, and hopes Carmilla will be ready for the talent show in July Rubina comments that dealing with Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III on stage will be difficult The following week, the group are heading to lunch when they encounter Dina with a gaggle of students following her She tells the group that they're going Frog racing, and to meet her at the Firejolt Café if they're interested The group follows after her, and are taken to a secluded corner of the café where a bunch of other students are waiting around a chalked-out racetrack with five frogs on it White wonders why they're holding the race in the café Killian, a second-year student, tells him that it's comfortable and easy to get refreshments there The students split into pairs of coaches for the frogs: Carmilla and Zoey, White and Doya, Violence (a first-year tiefling student) and Balforg, Larksann and Grayson, Dina and Killian RACE! Doya offers a spider to hers, White advises, Rin helps Larksann, Carmilla and Zoey play bad coach/good coach Violence's frog crosses the finish line first, with Carmilla and Zoey's in a close second! DEFEAT! As the race ends, all of the frogs begin retching They grow huge, and turn hostile FIGHT!
