⚡️🦖📰⚡️ A lot of things went on since my last post it’s not easy to keep up in all fronts but I manage. Performed on Valentine’s Day among the TOP40 artists of the French Human Beatbox Championships on the stage of @lechabada and reached Top 16 against my bro @akinde_sounds ! Big up to @alexinhobbx @prichiabeatbox @fresh.tonic & @squidbeatbox for their wins ! Shoutout to all the contestants and jury for encouraging every passionate human beatboxers to level up ! Shoutout to the @camion.scratch for sponsoring my trip to Angers after two days of works shops to create a show with detained human beings who taught me a lot about music & life ! Their stories, curiosity, smiles and gratitude for the laughs provided gave me another perspective of what people experience behind bars. I also hosted and performed with @edem_omega at a fundraiser for @soulfoodparis who are doing a lot to help young African teenagers integrate in France. They often have no guidance, parents or assistance while they have travelled thousands of miles away from home with dreams of a better place because slavery, colonialism, post-colonialism defaced their initial habitat ! During the past two weeks the videos of my Student 7 To Smoke Battle win at the @sbxcampofficial in Kraków, Poland came out on @swissbeatbox ! Go check em out ! ⚡️D-5 ⚡️ I’m Back for the 2nd year among the Top 40 artists who qualified to perform on the stage of the Human Beatbox French Championships 2020 in the solo men category ! It will take place in Angers at the @lechabada where the first Championships organized by @beatbox.france took place in 2006. The first edition was won by @l.o.s_beatbox, Faty in the women category & PHM in team category @micflow & @1mrlips1 ! For the 2020 edition it is organized by @french_beatbox_family @growlupfrance & @asso_paipai ! Big up to them, because the 2-day passes are sold out which means the event will be packed ! My friends around France have leveled up insanely thanks to the events organized across France by @undergroundbeatbox in Toulouse @obby_culture in Montpellier & @2dastreetz in Marseille @streetdefrecords in Bordeaux @alesia_bbx in Clermont-Ferrand @orleansbeatbox in the center, the World Champion @alexinhobbx is participating in his hometown so we won’t know what to expect. Although I am in Paris most of the time, I got that Dirty South Underground Beatbox blood in my veins because : . . - Toulouse is the city where I first met a beatboxer when I was 7 years - @njinlengin was training hard in the metro I didn’t know what was beatbox . . - The city where I first saw a battle live at the formerly known Rag time back in 2007/8 where my first mentor @ollietrew from the UK took on a wild @kiz_inked in the finals ! . . -The first battle I participated to in 2015 organized by @tionebthelooper that started the journey I am currently in after @wawadbeatbox told me at the French Champs 2015 that there was a monthly battle in my own town and didn’t know about it 😱 . .
