Okay Oregonians...you know the Columbia River Gorge is awesome, but do you know how wonderful The Dalles is? Well, I got the opportunity to do a photo montage of the area in conjunction with @thedallesartcenter and City of The Dalles and many other local collaborators and learned how great the area is. SWIPE TO SEE the entire photomontage of The Dalles, Oregon! This piece titled, “All Together The Dalles” was made to show the value, the culture, and the unity of this great town. Here is show grand landmarks, museum, hidden treasures, preserved architecture, local favorites, different industries, and the amazing landscape of the area. The print is showing at @thedallesartcenter this month, but will be available through them on an on-going basis. . . @thedallesartcenter has collaborated with The City of The Dalles, Fort Dalles Displays and The Dalles Chronicle to commission me to crest this piece that is available as a print and will be an art installation on the wall of the new Chronicle Building. Okay...you have seen my exploration of The Dalles, Oregon for awhile now! Now the photomontage I did for The Dalles Art Center is complete! Here is just a little snippet of it...a little sneak peak. The full scene will be 41 feet long as a mural (thanks to city approval and The Dalles Chronicle). There is an article of the whole project in my bio! . . Two versions of the photomontage scenes were produced in the process. The full sized scenic piece will also be available as an art print (20”x55”) to help raise funds for the project, and will become a mural downtown on the new Dalles Chronicle building for everyone to see. The smaller scene highlights the town specifically and will also be available as a limited edition print (17”x26”). . . Both will be shown for the first time @thedallesartcenter Thursday, August 1st along with an amazing printmaking show of oregon artists.
