The sentence ‘my mother is pissed at me because i refuse to quit my retail job so i can fly to [redacted state] for christmas and when i said they could come to my state she said they had already bought tickets’ is just. How does that even sound real.

#my ramblings #ignore this i’m in a weird mood #and may potentially give myself alcohol poisoning by the end of this weekend (joking mostly)#i was not expecting the level of how pissed she was (she hung up on me)#but i’m not really surprised that she’s mad about it which just goes to show how fucked up the family dynamics are #i did text my sisters to give them a heads up and then ranted to my besties via text last night #but it’s still not better and i’m so damn tired of feeling like everything is my fault #because i don’t love my family apparently which admittedly is one of her favorite phrases to use at me #including when she complains about why i won’t move back home #and i’m so damn tired of crying about it because nothing can be done to fix it really #unless i quit my job and let her get her way again nevermind the boundries i’ve been trying to build #also it should be noted that none of my immediate family live in that state so they’re all flying there #to visit my mom’s extended family i guess #but they didn’t even ask me she just told me what they were doing and expected me to hop to it and quit my job i guess
