Putting this one under the cut bc it’s probably the most suggestive thing I’ve ever drawn and I’m a coward. (It’s really not that bad they’re both fully clothed and they’re not even kissing, I’m just super ace + autistic and unable to discern what counts as suggestive or not. This is just a drawing of one guy on another guy’s lap)

pokemon scarlet has been surprisingly fun but man the visual bugs and lag take away from the experience to a degree I would hope gamefreak would consider unacceptable

I want to give them kudos for taking so many steps to innovate the classic pokemon experience, but it's difficult to appreciate when the game itself is hideous and borderline unplayable. it's such a shame bc this game had the potential to be the best one yet, and it could have been if they'd been given the time to polish things and iron out all the bugs :(

but I know it's not completely up to gamefreak when they likely have a release schedule outside of their control and a demand to keep up with the television show and manga and toy production. it's such a shame! I can't dwell too long on how beautiful, seamless and enjoyable these games could be if they weren't on such an unforgiving release schedule bc I'll make myself SAD

also ik I've enabled them by buying the game but in my defense I was drunk and feeling nostalgic shh!!! SHHHH

on a positive note, this generation has some of my all-time favorite pokemon designs. i'm head over heels in love w/ a few of them and I know tons of other folks must have found new favorites in this gen too. there's a lot of good to appreciate w this generation and i get the feeling they really did do their best with the resources and time they were given to make a good product.

the predicament of having 3.4k words in my current WIP and 23k words total, so i need to Not have it be 5k words in the next chapter bc then that'd put me at 28k words and that is a No Good for me, but also i could see 5k words being a natural ending for what i have planned. might have to insert smth to make it 6k. im sure readers wouldnt be too upset by that lmao
