i have very low expectations for the winchesters finale but thanks to robbie thompson being showrunner, i think it’s fair to have slightly higher expectations than normal. so anyways, a good finale to me would contain at minimum the following components:
1) dean appearing for at least 5 min of screen time total over the course of the finale
2) dean’s alive or trying to get out of heaven and be alive
3) dean mentions he’s either trying to find cas, get cas out of the empty, or makes it clear cas is present in his thoughts in some way—bonus points if he calls cas by name instead of his friend or an angel
4) the finale doesn’t end on a cliffhanger because the chances of it getting renewed for a second season are slim to none so that would suck to be left hanging
4) carlos and lata don’t die because we need to stop having poc die for pointless reasons, esp since there’s a possibility they won’t ever be brought back if there’s no season 2
i think these are all fair and reasonable requests for this finale and i’m hoping it’ll instead surprise me by being even better
anyway back to putting my clown make-up on 🤡

Archivist Sasha AU but that's not even the point because one of her assistants is the strangest, spookiest little man she's met in her waning life. No one knows why Jon is working in the archives nor why he seems to know so much about the horrors haunting them, all they know is that Jon is looking for something, though he never says what. He wanders the aisles rifling through boxes for whatever it is. Sometimes he will find a statement he decides to keep. Once Martin caught Jon reading those statements and crying, but he wouldn't say why.
The mystery continues until Sasha ends up in America and finds Gerard Key’s page. She doesn't know how Jon came up, but as soon as he hears his name, Gerry does a 180. Suddenly, rather than wanting Sasha to burn his page right away, he wants her to bring it back to the archives; all he says is, “he needs to know it's over.” Jon cries when Sasha hands him Gerry’s page. Finally, he gives her his statement, the statement of Johnathan Sims regarding his late husband, Gerard Sims, and the years of searching that followed his death and dismemberment. Finally, he can bury him, and finally, Gerry can be laid to rest.

I really miss Loki. And not just any Loki, I wanna see my baby being pinned after, courted and chased bcoz you know what, he deserves it. He deserves to be appreciated and taken care of. Don't get me wrong, I love to see him as the one who is confident, makes the first move, is the one who falls first (and the angst. Oof, the angst is so delicious.) But I also wanna read about him getting the princess treatment. I love the range.
If anyone has any recs, please let me know. You can even have my firstborn in exchange lol

Don't you hate it when your test subject won't stop screaming from the pain inflicted on him, while you're trying to enjoy your drink. Like, be in pain more quietly

A last minute series of BMF thoughts before a very long, annoying end of the week for me!
I've been talking quite a lot about how Kawi stays frozen in time (here, here, and here) which has got me thinking about WHY that happens. And it's, essentially, because he's afraid of change - or more specifically, as @waitmyturtles put it after I accidentally put a WHOLE ASS ESSAY IN HER DMS, that he's afraid of the unknown.
He likes moments where he knows how things are going, where it seems like he has it all figured out and he likes staying in them. Those are the moments he jumps ahead from, as though because that one moment was perfect everything beyond it needs to be too. Which, you know, it just doesn't work like that.
His problem, the thing he needs to realise, is that freezing at a specific time doesn't stop things from going wrong, it just hinders your ability to deal with them (look at Pear's dad and what he has to say about learning to let go of anger and how that makes you stronger in the long run). All freezing does is hinder your chance to grow. We literally saw this play out with Kwan and Pear and Max and how the moment time unfroze they figured it all out for themselves.
It's also why he's so afraid to have sex with or even kiss Pisaeng, why he wants them to stay sleeping next to each other holding hands (I would LOVE an aspec main character in a BL, I just don't think we're getting that just yet). Because that feels good, and anything more, anything different could change that. And Kawi is afraid of change.
But that's Kawi's problem. And so I'm wondering how travelling with the crystal ball changes things for Pisaeng. Because Pisaeng's problem is not being afraid to change.
@visualtaehyun pointed out here that in the previews for the next episode, Kawi and Pisaeng are both using the pronouns Pisaeng wants them to use with each other. So what is Pisaeng's version of the future and what does it highlight about him?
I'm not sure, and I'm not very sure we have a lot to go on just yet, but tagging @dribs-and-drabbles and @rocketturtle4 to see if either of you have any insights.
