Does leopard still have 3 lives in her final battle? Or was that changed?
Yep. I think she drowned her once, then Leopardstar lunges up refreshed, and she gets the upper paw on Mistyfoot with 2 lives to go.
(MAYBE tw gore, but I really did try to be tasteful about a head being smashed on a rock.)
On her back, splashing and thrashing furiously against Leopardstar's claws dunking her head under, Mistyfoot glimpses a wave breaking just over the tip of a stone-blue rock. Her only chance.
With a surge of power, her claws sink into her leader's golden shoulder and they tumble and roll to the right. Before the tyrant even realizes what's happening, she's yanked up, and then whipped backwards with a wet CRUNCH
And then again
And again
And again, until Mistyfoot can't even make out what's left of her leader anymore. All she can see is that it's a red, brown, and yellow blur, because her eyes burning with salty tears and her whole body is trembling.
She drops the corpse onto the stone and it slides into the water, lifelessly. After a moment it spasms aimlessly one last time, like an insect does after its head is bitten off, unlike the deliberate, agonized throes of Tigerstar suffering through his doomed lives. And then it's still.
There's only the tranquil sound of bubbling water, and Mistyfoot's frenzied panting. Her pounding heart makes it hard to hear either.
The blood is carried off by the shallow water in scarlet swirls, but the lake runs pale red as if it's washing it away. Some were aware of this prophecy, but Mistyfoot was not.
It isn't closure to her, or a fulfillment of divine decree. It's just blood that should be on her paws, slicked away by the complicit river. She wished it could feel like it's over, but she's smart enough to know the truth. Has been through enough terrible events like this to understand what comes next.
Her body will move foward. Her mind will need to consider her deputy. Her paw will come down on code-defying cats like Blackclaw and Greenflower. But her heart will stay here, next to the remains of Leopardstar, the same way another piece of it remains at Stonefur's side across space and time.

IWTV S2E7
It took me two fucking hours to watch this motherfucking episode. I kept having to pause 'cause this shit got so overwhelming.
Ant it still hurts so much, how little consideration was given to Claudia in her own fucking murder.
It was never about her and it still isn't.
She's sitting there as a prop, an extension of Louis, the damning piece of evidence that declares him guilty. They stripped her of the little agency she had in planning Lestat's goddamned assassination. They took away her brilliance in outsmarting both Lestat and Antoinette. Her ruthlessness in how she handled the poisoning. They took away her achievement of freedom, all so they could paint Louis as the masterful villain. She isn't even given recognition for her "crimes".
She's sitting there watching her life play out as they reduce her to an even smaller part. No longer a supporting character, just a barely present side character with the written depth of a prop. They made her Chekhov's gun.
They even had the audicity of making Madeleine's sentence revolve around Louis. She was given the Gift without the Maître's permission, by Louis, no mention of Claudia. Except Madeleine accepted the Gift for Claudia. When they tried to take even that away it didn't work. It was the only moment where anyone on that stage gave Claudia any recognition of personhood. Madeleine chose vampirism for Claudia, without her there would be no point.
And after all of it. All the torment, the humiliation, the torture. When they finally kill her. Santiago takes her dress as a trophy, but it's not a trophy of her, it's his perceived victory over Louis.
They fucking killed her. Desecrated her remains.
And it still wasn't about her.

Black Cherry Cookie
She used to be much kinder, you know. Much less prone to stiffness and dismissal. She and her wife would guide the carts to the edge of The Silver Platter and they would love it all the way. And then... well. You know what happened. Everyone here knows what happened. There's no need to mention it. There's no need to bring up the fact that she hasn't been the same cookie since. I think she blames herself. It's hard not to.
She/Her MtF
Lesbian

38 years old
Former Watcher of Dark Cacao Kingdom. Forced into an early retirement due to an incident that left her unable to use weapons effectively.
Injury is in dominant right shoulder. Causes chronic pain.
Currently works as the financial agent/mercantile manager of Snowfall Village and The Silver Platter.

thai fans confirmed that the newspaper showing tees uncle says something like "mysterious death of uncle Joe who laundered 300 million in horse accounts" so he was first on the revenge gangs list
Anon, pardon my language but
DEAD?!
The uncle is dead?!
The newspaper announces he is dead and not just that he laundered 300 million because Google Translate reads "mysterious person laundering more than 300 million in horse accounts"?
The newspaper states "mysterious death"? Are we sure? It would make a bit more sense to announce a "mysterious death" rather than him being a mysterious person though.
*maniacal laughter*
I wrote that Non is still alive and the only reason he popped back up now is because the uncle, who was the biggest threat, was being put into jail, but now that you say he is dead . . .
Perth, what were you doing in that gambling hall because I don't think it was just giving massages? Did you help Non escape? Maybe? Perhaps? Possibly? Because it'd be really cool if you did.
I'm riding this "Non is alive" train all the way into Crazy Town Station.

Roxas: Had the Halloween town kids throw bombs in his face for multiple missions in a row before finally breaking down and smacking them around a bit.
Ventus: The dwarves were rude and refused to talk to him, immediately resorted to chasing them down and whacking them.
Characterization I see frequently: Ah, yes, Roxas is the one always willing to throw hands and Ventus is a smol sunshine boy.

One thing you learn is that the idea that people nowadays are uniquely self-absorbed isn't... really accurate. There's a reason why ancient handprints are among the first records of humans making art. There's a reason why so many people hired artist to paint their portraits. There's a reason why people take selfies. Yes, part of it may be a sense of hubris and self-admiration, but also... we want to be remembered, I think. We want to connect ourselves to the future, and that is okay. You don't have to have a reason for however you are self-absorbed - it is how we have survived.
"We two dear men, friends forever, were here. If you want to know our names, they are Gaius and Aulus." -Pompeii graffiti of two men who loved each other (yes, as friends, but still, is that not love?) that we will remember
