i had food poisoning last night and was pissed about it. anyway mid-puke i remembered that Paraguay and Uraguay exist and i was like Paraguay is on top right? if I remember correctly from middle school geography. So i googled them to check

and then I read an article about the Paraguayan war bc apparently it was particularly brutal. anyway, i forgot about how bad my stomach was cramping and was just really upset about civilian casualties for a while so i guess it worked. stick it to the man.

Currently Reading: I'm reading a book called O Uraguai (Brazilian literature, for my classes), Sapiens: A Brief History of Humanity (also for school) and rereading The Shadow of the Wind (my favorite book!).

What food am I craving most right now: cream crackers or cheese and bacon pasty (pastel in my native language, pasty is the closest thing I'd say)

The vast, rolling fields of this estancia in Uraguay were an incredible place to visit. The days were full of sunshine, riding and working with the cattle; the evenings were full of candlelight and good food! This shot was taken on my phone - I'm not the best rider and there was no way I was able to ride and work with a heavy camera in tow!
