Video: Actress Adunni Ade raises alarm over Koko Zaria's public threat to her life

Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has called out MC Oluomo’s aide, Koko Zaria, over an alleged threat to her life. In an Instagram post that is currently trending, Adunni revealed she had contacted the US embassy in Nigeria, police, and other relevant authorities over the video made by Koko Zaria. She alleged that in the video, the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos, Koko Zaria threatened to deal with her over her. She adds that this trails her comments on certain entertainers being paid money to campaign for a candidate in the 2023 elections. Adunni, however, urged members of the general public to be aware of the situation and hold Koko Zaria responsible if anything happens to her. U.S. EMBASSY IN NIGERIA THREATENS TO SANCTION THOSE WHO MAY ATTEMPT TO RIG ANAMBRA ELECTION The United States Embassy in Abuja released a statement on Wednesday morning, threatening to sanction those who may attempt to rig or perpetrate violence in the upcoming polls in Anambra, a state in southeastern Nigeria. In response to the April 2019 Presidential Memorandum on Combating High Nonimmigrant Overstay Rates, the Department and our embassies and consulates overseas conducted an in-depth analysis to identify and address root causes of overstays. Among other efforts to address this challenge, the State Department is considering additional steps to address overstays, including piloting a limited visa bonds program to test, in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the operational feasibility of posting, processing, and discharging visa bonds as means to ensure the timely departure from the United States of certain travelers.  Accordingly, the State Department will begin a limited six-month visa bond pilot program beginning on December 24, 2020.  We are committed to combating visa overstays and making sure travelers to the United States respect our laws. The implementation of this pilot builds on our engagement with foreign governments in recent years and will ensure continued progress to reduce overstay rates. Nigeria is not included in this six months pilot program. I got up early hours of this morning finding it very difficult to sleep because of what I saw in one of the schools I visited recently in Zaria, Kaduna State. To say I've been traumatized will be to say the least. The Government tells us they are giving us FREE EDUCATION and yet they have failed to provide the necessary learning tools, neither has it provided a conducive atmosphere for children to acquire knowledge. How can students be able to learn while sitting on the bare floor and without a roof over their heads. Is it possible to learn under this DEPLORABLE state? FREE EDUCATION in Nigeria can be likened to a farmer who is eager to go to the farm to work and only to get to his destination to realize that there is no land available to cultivate or even farming tools. Education in most public schools in Nigeria is a sham. If nothing is done to improve the Educational system in public schools in Nigeria. I promise us few years from now EDUCATION in these places will become a mirage. Everyone, let's all arise and be the government in our own little way by effecting change within our vicinity. These schools need help! The teachers are lackadaisical to work because, they are often times not paid or under paid. The children most times speak in vernacular. Most of them are not keen about learning because their classes are not conducive. According to UNICEF, 13.2 million children are out of school and the northern states make up 60% of these children.
