Despite the carnage around her, her eyes are steady and focused. All of her attention is on the elder son of Hades as his brother rests below the glow in her hands. She already knows the outcome of her healing ; with one hand clasping Nico’s and the other resting on his forehead, she can feel every cell in his body working together. None of them are in danger anymore, at least from nothing a little ambrosia will fix.

“ He’s going to be all right. ” She promises in a gentle but firm tone, pushing a bag into Vanitas’ hand. Her fingers linger on his, trying to channel her certainty through every means available to her. “ Feed him some of this when he wakes up. ”

Her head tilts as a reassuring smile crosses her face, gently letting go of the younger’s hand in her confidence at his recovery. There are many others who need her help and she can hear someone calling for her, but she can’t leave Vanitas like this. She leans forward, brushing the dark locks from his face so she can place a kiss on his hairline - a silent promise of her commitment to her words and how she’ll be coming back again, in a quick action that ensures she can hurry away to her next patient.

The moment that Nico had fallen to the ground, Vanitas felt his own heart stop. Even in the mist of the battle, of the numerous monsters that were pouring from the entrance of the labyrinth and taking students out here and there, his focus seemed to shift immediately to his brother the moment the undead flooded the field and he had fallen over. He knew to some degree that this war would be bloody - hell, it was a war - but he'd already lost Bianca and had spent so long being fearful that the next time he came across Nico after he ran away would be the last. His heart and nerves were effectively fried.

As arms held onto the limp body, the fighting about him was muffled, slowing as though someone had pressed the button and forced everyone in slow motion. Heart thumped wildly, shaky breaths escaping him before he looked up -- searching the battlefield for something that he couldn't even grasp in the hazy panic of his mind. It was like an automatic reaction, his body moving on autopilot for something to ground him.

It took hearing her voice breaking through the static and haziness before he realized just exactly who he had been searching for: Rapunzel.

It took a bit of effort, but blue eyes flickered towards shining green eyes and freckled face, glancing down towards her hands over Nico's hand and head before flickering back up; swallowing thickly as she attempted to grab his wits about him. Bag ... Bag, right, it probably had some Ambroisa in it. Giving Nico a bit would help ... his wide blue eyes were still focused on Rapunzel as his breathing fell into a more normal rhythm, the shouts and clashes of battle finally reaching him again. Now wasn't the time to fall to panic -- he couldn't afford to be stupid here. Pursing his lips, he manages a firm nod, gripping tightly onto the bag.

"R... Right..."

Blue eyes widened slightly as he felt the kiss pressed to his forehead, his heart leaping in his chest before he watches her leave for a beat; pursing his lips before gripping tighter onto his younger brother's body. He couldn't sit here and panic -- he needed to get Nico to safety and then come back and help the others fight Kronos' army. With a deep breath - strength returning in a wave - he grunts, pulling the limp body up as he rushed away.

Looking back I think your fic and tumblr made me go through all five stages of grief.

I remember reading the tags over at ao3, and thinking this isn’t too bad. It’s Greek Mythology wtf would I be expecting OTHER than graphic incest?

And besides, it’s only Percy going through it, and reading the first few chapters I understood immediately that Percy was LITERALLY asking for it.

What drives a halfblood to kill its own kind? After a quest gone wrong gets a loved one killed and turns Camp Half Blood into a place of hatred, William, son of Hephaestus, begins experimenting. The lifespans & bodies of halfbloods are powerful, and William is determined to find the perfect way to harness the powers of each and every damn god on Mount Olympus. This verse can take place before / during / after early Camp days, the quest, the post-quest return to Camp, or his adult life experimenting with halfbloods in his quest to gain leverage over the gods. James Atton is a normal thirty-three year old who suffers from odd dreams and has a weird fascination with FazEnt. That’s all, right? Of course not ! The reincarnation & spitting image of William Afton, the memories of James’s past life are hidden very sloppily behind a wall in his mind he refuses to touch. But when he gets sucked into the mess of Security Breach, he finds himself getting closer and closer to his old memories — though really, REALLY doesn’t want to get them back when he remembers how things ended up...

At twenty-three, William is springlocked. He survives. At forty-four, he's springlocked again - and survives this too. On his third lease of life, he takes on the identity of James Atton, new Head of FazEnt, and maintains his immortality through the help of Vanessa and the animatronics he's corrupted via their programming. But third time's not always the charm, and another springlock incident might just be the end of him...

A terrible incident that takes the life of his youngest son leads William to attempt to discover exactly how his power works: and discovers remnant along the way.

A respected politician, William's father moves the Afton family to Moralton, a strange town where all eyes turn suspiciously to the new kid on the block who smokes cigarettes at nighttime and mumbles his way through hymns. It's hard to survive in a town like this, and, exposed at every turn, William seeks comfort in Sinville and any surrounding areas he can turn to, dreaming of a life where God does not watch him wherever he goes.

The Afton Family have been Stranger aligned for decades, and that doesn't change when the youngest Afton crosses the pond to America. If anything, their connection only grows stronger. And, with the death of half his family at the hands of animatronics and his own un-death, William becomes an Avatar, always hiding behind a rabbit's mask and eager to bring about the ritual - the Danse Macabre - that will pull the Stranger through to rule eternal. When the virus takes over and destroys the world as he knows it, William adapts like the cockroach he is. Surviving by the skin of his teeth, he jumps ship and finds himself managing a group of very desperate, very naive people. It's easy to convince them he's their savior, even when it's the furthest thing from the truth, and for the most part, he enjoys a relatively cushy life in the sanctuary. William's business-oriented mind gives him pause when he discovers remnant for the first time, and it's not long before, teaming up with a few... unscrupulous people... he becomes known across the country for his mysterious product that gives users enhanced strength, durability, and even, rumors claim, extend your lifespan. He spends his time torn between the Fazbear name, avoiding being caught (by police and dealers alike), immersed in his own experiments, and running a very successful empire on remnant. Godly parentage: Enyo.

Age: 35.

Affiliation: Camp Half-Blood (formerly).

Weapon: Curved blade called Orcrist, monster-cleaver, a gift from his mother that glows when more powerful monsters come near. Turns into a ring when not in use.

Abilities: regular demigod abilities, minus the dyslexia. Skilled with a sword, very agile and excellent in close combat. Has superior strength and is able to learn new fighting styles extremely quickly, due to his parentage. Has skill as a strategist, if he can get past his hotheaded instincts first.

Thorin Oakenshield, demigod son of Enyo - goddess of war, came late into the life of gods and monsters. He was set to attend university with help from his wealthy family, to start a business and move on with his life. After a drakon attacked his family and left him with few options for his life, he was brought to camp half-blood during the 1990s. and trained there for some time 

He resided there until he turned 24, before he dared to venture out and continue on his previous life path, willing to risk the monsters. He attended university, got a degree in management, and started Erebor Jewelsmiths -- a small, but successful company that designed, created, and sold beautiful pieces of jewelry. He’s one of the rare Greek demigods who managed to build a life for himself outside of the world of Gods, and is both revered and a mystery to those at Camp Half-Blood.

Hera’s canon verses are a little convoluted because a lot happens to Hera throughout her life, but this is the simplest explanation of her canon timeline. Please take heed that I am “canon divergent”.

* v. titanomachia.

          This verse starts shortly after Kronos regurgitated the Kronides and continues throughout the Titan War. There is a brief gap in the middle of this verse, where Hera leaves her pantheon’s territory for Thrace during her pregnancy with Ares and returns with him.

* v. olympian.

         From  the end of the Titan War until Hera leaves Mt. Olympos to wed her second husband, the  river god Inakhos. This time period includes the birth of Athena, Zeus’ short-lived marriage to Themis, and the birth of Persephone. Included in the verse is Hera’s fostering with Tethys and Okeanos as well as her first marriage to the river god Imbrasos.

* v. lady of the argos.

         This verse is a little tricky in the timeline. Catch-all tag for the time of Hera’s marriage to Inakhos until the birth of Artemis and Apollo---which directly preceeds Hera’s marriage to Zeus---as well as the times when Hera acts as a sovereign goddess, separate to her role as queen on Olympos.

         Hera as Queen on Olympos, wife to almighty Zeus. Includes her betrothal and most of her marriage, including their major separation and reconciliation. Things start transitioning into the next verse by the time of Hebe and Hermes’ birth, still slowly unraveling by the time the situation with Io & Argos occurs...

         The failed coup marks the beginning of this verse---or maybe it’s earlier, with Argos’ death by Hermes’ hand? Hera is an antagonistic figure in Zeus’ court, both ally and enemy in one. Yoked to her marriage and to her husband, Hera remains by his side out of habit moreso than love. Some cycles are harder to break than others, especially when you’ve tried---and failed---before.

         Hera walks among mortals. Merciful, she calls herself. Savior. Though what ‘saving’ means---what ‘merciful’ means---depends on her whim, for she is as capricious as any god of her kind. The “modern” counterpart to lady of the argos, in that it is separate to her role as queen.

Orpheus Verses

MAIN VERSE:

Takes place during and post HOO. While the doors of death are opened, Eurydice takes her husband by the hand and drags him back into the mortal realm. From there Eurydice finds other beings who direct her and Orpheus to Camp Half-blood to seek help. Orpheus may also come back without his wife or they could be fighting when they come back to open him up for shipping purposes if need be.
