🎶🎵Caught up in a dream that I just thought was passing through Colored in with vivid memories of me and you And on a moonlit night I've never seen stars this bright No I can't help it I've been catching feelings over you And I hope you catch them too🎶🎵 Catching Feelings by Drax Project
_____
Pavitr sits atop the highest tower in Mumbattan as usual one Friday night, his lustrous wavy hair flowing in the chilly wind as he bites into a vada pav. The full moon shines bright behind him forming a scenic midnight backdrop. He hums a happy tune to himself, swinging his legs as he watches over the city, his late night chai sits piping hot beside him.
A faint meow gets Pavitr's attention and he smiles, his mind going back to that night five months ago, to You; You -who's been plaguing his dreams and every waking moment, hoping to just get a glimpse of those enchanting eyes again. You, Black cat.
Spidey-sense alerts him and quickly he catches a rock thrown at him from behind. He turns around but there is no one. Before Pavitr could investigate further, another rock comes for him but he misses it. Interesting..
The hopeful smirk forming on his face quickly fades when he hears a cry for help. His eyes land on an elderly woman backed into an alleyway four streets hence, clutching tight on her purse as muggers surround her.
Pav swings to the spot instantly, webbing up the guy who tries to muffle the old lady. Another guy approaches the woman with a knife but before Pavitr shoots his web, a kick to his face sends him slamming onto the wall.
The raven haired hero grins widely knowing who the mysterious helper is, even though he can't see the face. He quickly ties up the muggers, leaving them dangling on his web upside down from a street lamp and retrieves the old lady's purse, walking her to safety. The police are quick, but not enough to catch Spider-Man or his mysterious feline helper, who escape.
Pavitr watches from a high building quite far from the scene of crime as the men are cuffed and taken to the station, grinning as he turns to You -Black cat.
"I see you've taken my of-fur", he says, rather smug about his pun as he leans out on the rooftop.
You roll your eyes.
"You still haven't caught me, Spider", you remind him and quickly jump onto the adjacent rooftop, giggling as he follows you. "That was the deal, wasn't it?"
"Then, ready or not, here I come!" He laughs, his sound music to your ears as you run across the rooftops. He shoots webs at you but you evade them easily, pouting as you crawl onto another building.
"Cheating spider!"
"Scaredy cat", he scoffs playfully, coming to stop before you on the same rooftop.
You grin widely at him and he mirrors you, energetic and full of adrenaline. But when Pav takes a step forward you jump into the alleyway below, taunting him to follow with a beckoning finger.
Instead, it's a web that comes for you, wrapping around your body as it glues you to the wall. Pavitr dives from the top headfirst, hanging upside down by his web as he slowly descends before you.
You pout, not liking being stuck to the wall but only then realize in the darkness -at the same time as he- how close his masked face is to yours. Your breath is practically on him. Time seems to stop as you lock eye contact, breaths quickening as he comes closer -only an inch between you now.
If you lean a bit, you'd be able to kiss his lips. Your heart misses a beat at the thought, breath stuck in your throat as your eyes begin to flutter on their own from the proximity. You can almost smell his cologne. Oh God..
"Caught you"
His voice is barely above a whisper and you take a second to register his words, blinking open and shaking yourself out of the daze as you regulate your breathing. What were you thinking!
You roll your eyes and use your claws to release yourself from the sticky binding, mostly to put distance between you, landing from such height as gracefully as a cat. "Fine", you huff, crossing your arms and smiling as you look up at him, "You win. We'll be the do-gooder duo."
"See? I told y-"
Police sirens sounding nearby interrupt you. That's your cue; you look at him and he nods in understanding. Spider-Man swings to the rooftop again, swooping low to take you along. Vigilante or thief, cops hate you both with no disparity.
"Phew! Close call."
"Yeah", you trail, realizing how intimate you stand, bodies touching each other. You hate how quickly your hope goes up. "So close.."
His strong arm is still wound tight around your waist, holding you close to him and you can feel his heart thud below the thin fabric from where your hand is placed on his chest. You timidly bring your other hand to rest on his chest too, slowly sneaking upwards.
"Yeah", he licks his lips, itching to tear off the mask.
His colorfully masked eyes stay wide as you stand there, caught in a trance. You hesitantly lift the bottom of his mask but he does not stop you, letting you reveal his lips. A chilly breeze sends his wavy hair floating and you tuck a stray strand behind his ear, leaning in. His nose softly nudges yours.
Blood rushes to your cheeks, heartbeat thudding loudly in your ear. This is it. You're gonna.. he's gonna..
A gust of wind sends your long white hair flying into his mouth. "Seriously!?", he groans, spitting it out. "Sorry, can you- ufff, it's so windy today! It's like the universe is against us kissing."
"We were about to kiss?", you mutter as if you just didn't hope the same. He doesn't need to know that, though.
"I don't know..", he says quietly, "you tell me.."
He's evading. You know he is because you are too -because, obviously, you guys more than just like each other. Very much. How can you not, when he is all you think of in every waking moment? How can you not, when you've spent the past five months watching him from the shadows and being confused with your feelings?
"Sorry, sorry", he pulls away, putting distance between you. "It's too soon, isn't it? I mean, we've only met once and..."
Whatever he wanted to say goes with the wind. Spider-Man ponders quietly for a while before he speaks again, borderline accusatory. "Is this another trick? How do I know this isn't another distraction for a bigger heist your friends do as we speak?"
"They're aren't my friends, just business partners with who I have no ties after I split the fortune. And, no, this isn't a trick."
You can tell he's still skeptical -naturally, but you're aren't angry- and decide to prove your sincerity instead. With determined fingers you pull off your eye mask, letting your whole face be seen under the bright light of the full moon. He gasps, stuttering to speak but words fail him.
"I am Y/N Y/L/N", you say, loud and proud, "and I'm Black Cat."
It's no secret, everyone in the crime world and out knows who you are and not just as a cat burglar.
He stands there still and motionless, unmoving, gaping like a fish -and your confidence falls. Tears sting your eyes but you swallow them down, not wanting to cry in front of him. You hadn't changed out of the goodness of your heart, you'd changed for him. Maybe you were too quick to trust?
"Well", you shrug and pull on your mask, "Guess that's enough shock for today. I'm gonna go..", you say, unsure when he still doesn't respond.
You're almost about to retreat into the dark alley -go home and probably kick yourself for the oh so wonderful idea- when he calls out to you. You turn around and sit on the edge of the roof, waiting patiently.
"Honestly? I.. I never expected you to unmask and.. God- this is all so new to me." He sounds positively astonished. "I've never done this before..."
For a moment he just stands there trying to collect his words and fail. In the end he gives up and -oh my God, did he just remove his mask!?
You hardly expected him to do it. You knew it was a big deal, you know the power behind it and that it was nothing like yours. He was the person Villains spend their wealth on just to see the face behind the mask, he was the face even the government begs to know! No one knew Spider-Man's identity.. except for you, now.
"My name is Pavitr Prabhakar and I am Spider-Man."
He is even more beautiful than you imagined -which you definitely did NOT spend an alarming amount doing.
Seeing you freeze in surprise, he comes closer putting a warm hand on your shoulder just like your first meeting. "Trust must go both ways, kitty cat, and I trust you. Or should I say, mew?"
You laugh at his horrible pun as stray tear of joy springs to your eye and you let it fall, overwhelmed. It's been so long since anyone has looked at you without disdain or contempt, without distrust.
Sirens blare down a few streets, gunshots distinct in the calm late night air as red lights spin frantically to catch attention.
Your happy moment doesn't last for long but you aren't complaining, wiping off the tear and quick on your feet as Spider-Man -Pavitr- swings to the scene of crime. A bank robbery.
"Lend me a paw?", he jokes, you following right at his heels.
"Mew betcha!"

*Mew = you Hope you enjoyed it! <3 Reblogs and comments are appreciated! pt 2 of (I'm certain) I know what you say coming soon! ;D

domestic miguel headcanons that rot my brain <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
⁎⋆ miguel has definitely gone four days without eating once. whether it's a dismissive assertion that he is able to do so with his enhanced dna or is expected to sacrifice niceties as the leader of a sprawling spider society, he won't stop until he's finished his work for the day (or night). no doubt when jess finds out, she programs lyla to send her an alert when miguel misses more than one meal per day so she can personally grab him by the ear and demand he drinks some water.
⁎⋆ he likes stimulating games, when he has the time for it. chess + checkers with lyla as his partner (anybody else would be an easy win in his opinion), but he prefers other games more. newspaper sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords. anything that requires a bit of mental tinkering and keeps his brain busy.
⁎⋆ wears cozy slippers with his suit when he’s working after seeing how comfy peter b. looks. lyla has pictures.
⁎⋆ he adamantly takes his coffee black. anything lighter and it doesn't keep him roused the way he needs it to. he’s a keurig in a mug type of guy. definitely has a cup that reads “ok but first… coffee” on it.
⁎⋆ his love language is physical touch. miguel is a man of few words. he knows he comes off as uncaring and frigid. always task-oriented. never candid or emotional. his mind knows no bounds but his thoughts always tangle on his tongue. instead, he prefers little gestures. a gentle scrape of his knuckles against a shoulder, a hand on a shoulder, a pat on the back and a rare grunt of approval. i can see him doing that thing where he cups a waist when he has to get by.
⁎⋆ on the rare occasions he gets sick, this man turns into a CHILD. one, he's mad he can't work as efficiently. two, he hates feeling weak and vulnerable. he feels he has to compensate for his lapse in ability and over-works himself to the marrow, forcing lego spider-man to secretly plant an A/V bug in his residential unit that peter b. nicknamed "the baby monitor."
⁎⋆ he likes the soothing security of weighted blankets. after holding the multiverse together, it's nice to be held by something.
⁎⋆ he has chronic migraines and aches as a result of his photosensitivity. hence, some perpetual aggression sinking into his bones. it's why his laboratory is usually dark and his computer monitor displays a warm orange tint to reduce strain.
⁎⋆ he likes reading but doesn't always have time for it. he really likes periodicals and journals that most spider-people would find too boring to read, making him feel more intellectually superior.
⁎⋆ after jess disclosed her pregnancy, miguel began drafting plans for a daycare in hq. no heads-up, no formal dedication, just a casual renovation for a totally unprovoked child-caring facility. sure, it wasn't canonical for spiders to successfully start a family, but if they could... miguel knew firsthand that it had to be protected. for jess and her kid, and yes, peter b. and mayday. though he had a knack for charring some fried nerves, peter b. once inquired about the bizarre construction and upon finding out, he smiled, and never brought it up to miguel.
⁎⋆ he's such a present and absent dad to the younger members of his squad. yeah, he indulges pavitr in some vada pav and chai and weathers a verbose tangent about his latest save or his girlfriend but he also curls his lip at hobie's "screech" (AKA guitar riffs) and mutters about his piercings.
⁎⋆ he's really good at styling girls' hair. nothing too crazy, of course, but out of all the ponytails that swished around on the soccer field, gabriella's was always the most in-tact after a game. one mom even asked miguel if he could tie her daughter's hair similarly. he got so cocky after that.
⁎⋆ he goes to the strength & conditioning gym really early in the morning. like really early. people speculate that he’s nocturnal. but the gym is most likely empty then and miguel prefers that. he also works out to unwind, especially when he’s stressed tf out. and he’s always stressed, hence, big man bod.
⁎⋆ the spiderman 2099 burger was a birthday gag gift from peter b. but miguel secretly liked it so much, that it was no secret it stayed on the commissary menu.
⁎⋆ the first time his fangs extended after the spider gene splicing accident, he cut through his gum and lip and has a small scar there now.
⁎⋆ college age!miguel was so arrogant. girls thought it was charming but he was really, genuinely smart and had a job at alchemax already lined up before he graduated. he was probably popular. cocky, sarcastic, daddy-issues latino man with a big brain and big everything, c’mon.
⁎⋆ he snores really loud. he has those “dad sneezes” that sound like the whole house is coming down. with all those enhanced-hearing spiders, there have been rumors of a loose feral animal when miguel takes a nap or has allergies.
⁎⋆ when he’s not stressed and angry, miguel is tired and nerdy. he has a whole degree in genetics and worked as the head scientist at alchemax, i KNOW he is just as much of a dork as the other spiders.
⁎⋆ peter b. made fun of his airfoil cape once. “spider-man doesn’t wear a cape!” miguel still doesn’t forgive him and he def won’t forget it.

The nights are tasteless without you: Part 2 ~ Ari Levinson Fic
Tumblr media
A/N - This is my first proper multiple chapter story which came to me while watching a Bollywood movie. It is set in Mumbai India where Ari is a professor at a university meets a person of colour - Marathi girl at the train station. There will be other Chris Evans characters as professors and Henry Cavill   characters as professors
Warning: Please read this before reading the story. 18+, smut, sex… etc
Five days later, Ari started to settle into a routine. He bought a car and learned how to navigate Mumbai's streets with help from GPS. Classes were going well, and students taking a massive interest in Hebrew touched him.
He had finished work early today, and just as he was about to get into the car, his stomach rumbled. Ari hadn't eaten much for lunch as one student needed help. He remembered on his way home, there was a street vendor, and he decided to stop and grab some food.
The street vendor made him a vada pav right in front of him, handing it to him with some napkins. Ari said thank you, paid the man, and sat down on the bench, looking at the busy streets of Mumbai.
Ari suddenly felt the heat and started to cough, his eyes watering, trying to get the vendor to notice his hand asking for a drink. His actions got lost in translation as the vendor came and handed him some hot chai.
He didn't even think and took a few sips of the chai, and it didn't help cool his mouth. It made him swear and put the glass down; he saw a lady laugh at him and then talk to the vendor and bring a cold bottle of thumbs up.
"Here you go, Chai and Vada pav is a great combination but not when your tongue is numb from the spice," she said, looking at his face getting all red and sweaty.
"Well, thanks, I guess," he said, frowning at her, taking a few swigs of the drink. She felt offended; why was he being rude to her?
"Look, I'm sorry for the other day. Mumbai is a big city, and there are a lot of robbers and thieves, and we have to be careful and not trust everyone. My friend lost her watch while helping a guy with directions," she said, her head looking down at the ground.
"Oh no, I didn't know about that. I am new to Mumbai and don't know what's the protocol. I was only trying to be friendly and helpful. I didn't mean to scare you in any way," he said, looking at her soft eyes.
"I was looking for you at the station the last few days and couldn't find you," she said, feeling deflective.
"Oh, about that, I bought a car and am now using that as my transport," he said, seeing her walk away, and it suddenly started to rain, and she was getting soaked. Ari ran over to her and put his jacket over her
"Let me take you home; it's my way of apologising. Look, I don't want you to catch a cold," he said, walking to the car, hoping she would follow behind.
"It'll ruin your new seats with my wet clothes," she said, looking at her phone to see if it would take her 25 minutes to get home if she started walking now.
"Nonsense, I still have the plastic covers on the seats. The car dealer told me to keep them on so it doesn't ruin the seats. I get it now, you can sit, and I'll take you home," he said, and a small smile appeared on her face. She skipped towards the passenger seat of the car and, buckling up, rubbed her hands as Ari asked for her address and punched it in the GPS.
It was silent for 5 minutes, both awkwardly looking at the road ahead. All you could hear was their breathing and the car engine.  She moved her hand to put on the radio, blushing as she felt Ari's hand touch hers thinking the same thing.
"Umm, sorry, you go," she said as her hand slipped away from the radio.
"No, no, it's ok, you chose a radio station," Ari said and watched as she pressed a few buttons to find the right radio station. A song came on, which made her smile, To Chand Rati. It made her hum the tune, making Ari smile and look at her with fascination.
Halfway through the song, Ari decided it was time to find each other's names. He lowered the volume and looked at her while sitting in traffic.
"We haven't exchanged names; my name is Ari Levinson; you can call me Ari. What is your name," he said, looking at her smile and biting her lip at how hot his voice sounded.
"Nice to meet you, Ari; my name is Maddy Deshpande, but you can call me Maddy," she said, turning up the radio a little more.
"What a lovely name Maddy, so what do you do," he asked, and for the rest of the journey to get to her house, they spoke about their lives, their profession, and what they loved to eat. When they arrived at her apartment, before leaving, they exchanged numbers, and she offered to be his tour guide.

Trabuco Canyon Fire: A Devastating Wildfire in Southern California
The Trabuco Canyon fire was a significant wildfire that caused widespread destruction in Southern California. Located in the Santa Ana Mountains, the fire burned through parts of Orange County, threatening homes, wildlife, and natural resources. Like many wildfires in the region, the Trabuco Canyon fire was exacerbated by dry conditions, high winds, and the region’s susceptibility to fire outbreaks.
Cause and Spread of the Fire
The exact cause of the Trabuco Canyon fire has often been attributed to the typical factors that lead to wildfires in California— a combination of human activity, environmental conditions, and weather patterns. Although many wildfires are started by natural causes like lightning, human-induced factors such as unattended campfires, power lines, and even arson have been known to ignite such fires.
The fire spread rapidly due to Santa Ana winds, strong, dry winds that blow through Southern California, often fanning the flames of wildfires. These winds carried embers over great distances, causing the fire to jump across roads and natural firebreaks, making it difficult for firefighters to control. The dry brush and vegetation in the canyon served as fuel, allowing the fire to grow rapidly in size.
Firefighting Efforts
In response to the fire, firefighting crews from across California were dispatched to contain the blaze. Over several days, hundreds of firefighters, aided by helicopters and air tankers, worked tirelessly to control the flames. The rugged terrain of Trabuco Canyon presented additional challenges for ground crews, making it difficult to access certain areas where the fire was burning most intensely.
Efforts were further complicated by the unpredictable winds, which shifted direction frequently, causing flare-ups in areas that had previously been considered under control. Despite these difficulties, firefighters worked round the clock to protect homes and evacuate residents from areas that were directly threatened by the fire.
Evacuations and Damage
As the fire continued to spread, mandatory evacuation orders were issued for residents in the path of the fire. Several communities in and around Trabuco Canyon were evacuated, with emergency shelters set up to accommodate displaced residents. While firefighters managed to save many homes, several structures were lost to the blaze.
In addition to property damage, the fire had a devastating impact on local wildlife. The Santa Ana Mountains are home to various species of animals, many of which were displaced or killed by the fire. The destruction of habitats added to the long-term environmental consequences of the wildfire.
Environmental Impact
The Trabuco Canyon fire left a lasting impact on the landscape, destroying vast areas of vegetation and forest. The aftermath of the fire also posed a significant risk of mudslides and flooding, as the vegetation that typically holds the soil in place was gone. Without this natural barrier, the area became vulnerable to landslides, especially during the rainy season, further threatening the homes and communities in the region.
Conclusion
The Trabuco Canyon fire serves as a sobering reminder of the growing threat of wildfires in California. The combination of dry conditions, high winds, and human factors continues to fuel devastating fires across the state. While firefighting efforts successfully contained the fire, the damage it caused underscores the need for continued focus on wildfire prevention, preparedness, and recovery in vulnerable regions like Trabuco Canyon.

Diversity of Morning Indian Breakfasts: Exploring Flavours, Traditions, and Health Benefits
In the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine, breakfast holds a special place. It is not just a meal; it is a celebration of flavors, traditions, and health. From the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene villages of Kerala, the morning Indian breakfast is a reflection of the country's cultural diversity and culinary excellence. In this comprehensive guide, we will take a journey through the vibrant landscape of morning Indian breakfasts, delving into the myriad dishes, ingredients, and rituals that make them so special.
Tumblr media
Introduction to Morning Indian Breakfasts Morning Indian breakfasts are as diverse as the country itself. They vary from region to region, reflecting local ingredients, climate, and culinary traditions. Despite this diversity, there are some common themes that unite them – a focus on freshness, flavor, and nourishment.
The Role of Breakfast in Indian Culture In Indian culture, breakfast is not just about satisfying hunger; it is a time for bonding with family, sharing stories, and starting the day on a positive note. Many Indian households follow the tradition of preparing elaborate breakfast spreads, especially on weekends and festive occasions.
Regional Varieties of Morning Indian Breakfasts
North India: In North India, breakfast often includes hearty dishes like parathas, chole bhature, and aloo puri. These dishes are typically served with spicy pickles, chutneys, and yogurt.
South India: South Indian breakfasts are famous for their light and healthy offerings such as idli, dosa, and upma. These dishes are usually accompanied by coconut chutney, sambar, and a variety of spicy powders.
West India: The breakfast fare in West India is influenced by Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Favorites include dhokla, poha, and the iconic vada pav. These dishes are often enjoyed with a cup of hot chai or filter coffee.
East India: East Indian breakfasts feature dishes like litti chokha, chhena poda, and pitha. These dishes showcase the unique flavors and ingredients found in the eastern states of Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha.
Ingredients That Define Morning Indian Breakfasts
Grains: Grains like rice, wheat, and millets form the foundation of many Indian breakfast dishes. They provide energy, fiber, and essential nutrients.
Spices: Spices such as turmeric, cumin, and mustard seeds are used abundantly in Indian cooking. They not only add flavor but also have medicinal properties.
Vegetables: Fresh vegetables like tomatoes, onions, and green chilies are often used to add color, texture, and nutrition to Indian breakfasts.
Dairy: Dairy products like yogurt, buttermilk, and paneer are integral to many Indian breakfast recipes. They provide protein, calcium, and probiotics.
Health Benefits of Morning Indian Breakfasts
Nutritional Balance: Indian breakfasts are designed to provide a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fats, ensuring sustained energy levels throughout the day.
Rich in Fiber: Many Indian breakfast dishes are high in fiber, thanks to the use of whole grains, lentils, and vegetables. Fiber promotes digestion, regulates blood sugar levels, and prevents constipation.
Antioxidant-Rich: Spices like turmeric, ginger, and garlic used in Indian cooking are rich in antioxidants, which help protect the body against oxidative stress and inflammation.
Gut Health: Fermented foods like dosa, idli, and dhokla are common in Indian breakfasts. These foods promote gut health by supplying beneficial bacteria to the digestive system.
Tips for Making Healthy Indian Breakfasts at Home
Plan Ahead: Plan your breakfast menu in advance and stock up on essential ingredients like grains, spices, and vegetables.
Experiment with Flavors: Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices, herbs, and condiments to create unique flavor combinations.
Include Protein: Incorporate sources of protein like lentils, beans, and dairy products into your breakfast dishes for added satiety and nutrition.
Balance Your Plate: Aim for a balanced plate that includes carbohydrates, protein, fats, and plenty of colorful vegetables.
In conclusion, morning Indian breakfasts are not just about sustenance; they are a celebration of life, community, and tradition. Whether you're savoring a plate of piping hot idlis in Chennai or relishing a plate of crispy parathas in Delhi, each bite is a reminder of the rich tapestry of flavors that make Indian cuisine so special. So, the next time you sit down for breakfast, take a moment to appreciate the culinary journey that has brought these delicious dishes to your plate.

Ever tried threading a needle while riding a roller coaster? That's sort of what driving in Mumbai feels like, except maybe with more honking and less safety harness. But fear not, dear traveler. There’s a smarter, sleeker, and significantly less terrifying way to navigate the beautiful chaos of Mumbai. Ditch the four-wheeler gridlock and hop onto a two-wheeler fantasy. Yes, getting a bike on rent in Mumbai is your secret pass to beat the bustle while soaking in the sights.
The Unbeaten Path with a Bike on Rent in Mumbai
Mumbai bike rental isn't just a service; it's your ticket to freedom. Imagine cruising past the static lines of cars, the wind in your hair, and a smug smile because you're not stuck in the perpetual pause that defines Mumbai traffic. Here’s why snagging a bike rental in Mumbai is a genius move:
Navigate Like a Ninja: Bikes slip through gaps that cars wouldn’t dare to tackle. Less time in traffic means more time enjoying chai by the sea or a breezy evening at Marine Drive.
Easy on the Wallet: It’s no secret that maintaining a car in Mumbai is akin to owning a small gold mine. Getting a bike on rent in Mumbai? Much cheaper. You save on fuel, parking fees, and those sky-high maintenance bills.
Park Like a Pro: Ever tried finding parking at Gateway of India during peak tourist season? It's like finding a quiet spot at the local train station during rush hour—nearly impossible. With a bike, you can park almost anywhere, saving time and sparing headaches.
Sustainable Travel: With global warming on the rise, every little bit helps. Biking is far more eco-friendly than driving, reducing your carbon footprint as you explore the urban sprawl.
Real Mumbai Vibes: There's something about riding a bike that puts you closer to the real pulse of Mumbai. Feel the city's heartbeat as you weave through vibrant street markets, iconic landmarks, and hidden nooks.
Pro Tips for Renting a Bike in Mumbai
Mumbai is vast and varied. Knowing your route can help you avoid congested areas and enjoy a smoother ride.
Before you set off, check the bike’s brakes, lights, and horn. Safety first.
Not just because it’s the law, but because Mumbai’s roads can be unpredictable.
Riding during the rains can be challenging and, frankly, a bit muddy.
Some routes require toll fees, and you'll want to stop for a quick vada pav or cutting chai.
Something New About Mumbai
Did you know that Mumbai houses a national park within its city limits? Yes, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park is one of the rare urban national parks in the world, complete with a rich biodiversity that could rival any tranquil wilderness. Exploring this green oasis on a bike allows you to connect with nature right in the heart of the bustling city.
Conclusion: Why Leave Mumbai Without A Bike Story?
As you prepare to leave Mumbai, with memories of your travels, don’t just take back souvenirs and selfies. Take back stories of your two-wheeled adventures, of all the narrow escapes from traffic jams, the breezy rides along the Queen’s Necklace, and the unexpected detours that led to surprising discoveries. Getting a bike on rent in Mumbai isn’t just about transportation; it’s about transforming your experience in the city. And who knows? You might just end up loving the city more from the saddle than you ever would from the backseat of a car.
So, when planning your next Mumbai trip, remember: four wheels move the body, but two wheels move the soul. And if you’re wondering where to find your soulmate (the bike, I mean), check out Rentnhop for top-notch Mumbai bike rental services. Strap on your helmet, rev up your engine, and get ready to see Mumbai like never before.

This two-day trek promises an invigorating experience through lush green trails, picturesque views, and the mesmerizing waterfall itself. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a novice adventurer, this itinerary will guide you through an unforgettable journey to the heart of nature.
Day 1: Journey to the Base Village and Initial Trek
Morning:
Departure and Arrival at Base Village: Start your journey early from Mumbai or Pune to avoid traffic and maximize your trekking time. Aim to reach the base village, Khubi Phata, by 8:00 AM. The drive itself is scenic, passing through winding roads and verdant landscapes.
Breakfast at Base Village: Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty local breakfast. Traditional Maharashtrian dishes like poha and vada pav, accompanied by steaming chai, are highly recommended to fuel up for the trek.
Mid-Morning:
Begin the Trek: Start your trek by 9:00 AM. The initial trail is relatively easy, winding through fields and small patches of forests. You’ll cross a few streams and get your first glimpses of the surrounding hills.
First Rest Stop: After about two hours of trekking, you’ll reach a picturesque clearing that makes for a perfect rest stop. Take a break, hydrate, and enjoy some snacks while soaking in the natural beauty around you.
Afternoon:
Resuming the Trek: Continue your journey towards the Kalu Waterfall. The trail becomes steeper and more challenging, but the increasing proximity to the waterfall will keep your spirits high.
Lunch Stop: Find a shaded spot to rest and have your packed lunch. The serene environment and the sound of distant waterfalls make for a peaceful meal setting.
Late Afternoon:
Arrival at Campsite: By around 4:00 PM, you’ll reach the campsite near the waterfall. Set up your tents and take some time to explore the surroundings. The campsite offers a magnificent view of the waterfall and the valley below.
Visit to Kalu Waterfall: Take a short hike to the base of Kalu Waterfall. The sight of water cascading down from a great height amidst lush greenery is awe-inspiring. Spend some time here, taking pictures and enjoying the refreshing spray of water.
Evening:
Campfire and Dinner: Head back to the campsite as the sun sets. Gather around a campfire, share stories, and enjoy a warm, delicious dinner under the stars. The quietude of the night and the distant roar of the waterfall create a magical ambiance.
Overnight Stay: Retire to your tents for a restful night’s sleep, ready for the adventures of the next day.
Day 2: Exploration and Return
Morning:
Sunrise View and Breakfast: Wake up early to catch the sunrise. The first light of day illuminating the waterfall and the surrounding valley is a sight to behold. Enjoy a simple yet satisfying breakfast at the campsite.
Mid-Morning:
Exploration and Leisure Time: Spend some more time exploring the area around the campsite. You can take a dip in the natural pools formed by the waterfall or go for a short hike to nearby viewpoints for panoramic views of the Sahyadri range.
Late Morning:
Pack Up and Start Return Trek: Begin packing up your campsite by 10:00 AM and start your return trek to the base village. The descent is generally quicker, but it’s still important to be cautious and take your time.
Afternoon:
Lunch at Base Village: Reach Khubi Phata by early afternoon. Freshen up and enjoy a local lunch before heading back to your respective cities.
Evening:
Departure: Depart from the base village by late afternoon, aiming to reach Mumbai or Pune by evening. The drive back provides a good opportunity to reflect on the memorable experience of the trek.
Tips for the Trek:
Preparation: Ensure you are physically prepared for the trek by engaging in regular exercise and cardiovascular activities leading up to the trek.
Packing Essentials: Carry appropriate trekking gear, including sturdy shoes, a waterproof jacket, a hat, sunscreen, a first-aid kit, and sufficient water and snacks.
Respect Nature: Follow the principles of Leave No Trace. Carry all your waste back with you and avoid disturbing the local flora and fauna.
Local Guides: Hiring a local guide can enhance your trekking experience with valuable insights and ensure your safety.
The Kalu Waterfall Trek is a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and tranquility. This two-day itinerary ensures you make the most of your visit, creating memories that will last a lifetime. So pack your bags, lace up your trekking boots, and get ready to embark on this mesmerizing journey.

The nights are tasteless without you: part 4 ~ Ari Levinson fic
Tumblr media
A/N - This is my first proper multiple chapter story which came to me while watching a Bollywood movie. It is set in Mumbai India where Ari is a professor at a university meets a person of colour - Marathi girl at the train station. There will be other Chris Evans characters as professors and Henry Cavill   characters as professors
Warning: Please read this before reading the story. 18+, smut, sex… etc
For the next few days, Maddy ignored his texts, calls and pictures because she was embarrassed after what had happened. She had started her periods and was craving a double dose of vada pav, so she took the bus to her local vendor and ordered some food.
She grabbed both plates and some chai, sitting at the table and rubbed her hands to eat the food. Ari was driving by and spotted her sitting alone eating food; she looked a little sad and in need of some company.
He parked the car, got out and walked towards her.
"Hi, Maddy, can I join you," he said, waiting for her to look up; her cheeks turned red, and she picked up her glass to take a few sips. "Hey, I haven't seen you around; how's work," he asked after the vendor brought some thumbs up and samosa chaat.
"It's been hectic; not had any downtime," she said, her head looking up at Ari. She couldn't help blushing at him; he looked stunning in the green shirt and grey pants combination.
"I'm sorry; is it possible for you to take a break, maybe," he said, making Maddy bite her lip and squeeze her thighs together. He was so sweet, yet the David's star chain dangled out of his shirt, making her body tingly.
"Umm, I'll see what I can do," she said softly, putting the loose strands of hair behind her ear. Maddy took a deep breath in, before saying, "anyway, enough about me. How are you finding Mumbai?"
"I haven't explored much of Mumbai; it's been driving to work, teaching, then going home," he said, putting his fingers through his hair.
"Why don't you take a break then," she said, twirling her hair around her finger,"
"Well, I have sat aside this Saturday for us to go shopping; that will help," he said, looking at her blush, her cheeks permitting red.
"Oh yes, you sure you still want to go," she said, looking at her food getting cold and quickly took a bite.
"Of course, I'm looking forward to it. I'll pick you up at 10am" he said again, putting his fingers through his hair and making Maddy gulp her food down. She smiled, nodding her head, both of them seeing the sky getting dark and leaving to head their separate way home.
*Saturday at 10am*
Ari pressed the horn outside Maddy's, letting her know he had arrived. She quickly ran outside the balcony to tell him she would be 5 minutes.
Five minutes later, she ran down the stairs, her bag in hand and a very comfortable but bright dress and sandals. Maddy's eyes widened; Ari wore a denim shirt rolled up to show his hairy arms. He had brown trousers and was wearing ray ban sunglasses.
She whimpered, grabbing the bottle of water from her bag to take a few swigs. She was hot, but also today in Mumbai it was very hot, so she could play that off if he asks.
"Hi," Ari said, jumping out of his seat to open the door for her.
"Hey," she said, getting in, loving the fragrance of the car. It smelt of musk and chai, and now all she could think of was fucking in the back seat. Maddy needed to control herself and get the task at hand done.
Ari connected his phone to the car music system, playing songs from the movie Chandramukhi. The last time the song came on, Maddy loved it, so Ari shazamed the song and forever listened to the song thinking of her.
Ari tried singing along to the songs, making Maddy giggle and help him out. She bit her lip, watching as he squeezed his hands on the steering wheel. It took Ari 20 minutes to get to Phoenix Palladium and find parking before they both headed inside, straight to the men's shop.
They walked into a few shops, not finding anything they liked. Nothing made Maddy go wow, or even feel tingly inside. They went to a more expensive shop, looking for some items when Ari bumped into Andy.
"Hey, Andrew," Ari said, seeing him try on a suit jacket.
"Ari, pal, nice seeing you. How is Mumbai treating you," Andy said, shaking Ari's hand. Andy works at the university as a law professor; they both met at the canteen, where he helped Ari pay for his food as he didn't know what the coins and notes meant.
"I love the hospitality everyone has shown me, even this nice lady here. Maddy, she helped me out when the food was so spicy. She knew what drink I needed, to take away the spice," he said, rambling away. "Maddy also told the vendor what I like, so every time I go there all I have to do is sit down and he brings the food over. You should try Andy, you will love it," he explained, making Maddy blush, trying to calm herself down before saying hi to Andy.
"Thanks Ari, send me the name and I'll definitely take my wife after she is back from her trip," he said and Ari nodded his head, before saying goodbye and walking around the other side of the shop with Maddy.
It took them both 4 hours and 7 shops to find 10 new outfits for Ari which got her feeling hot and tingly. Her favourite outfit was a linen brown suit, with a white coloured shirt. When she saw him try it on, she grabbed her water bottle and downed the liquid.
Ari also bought her a dress, just to say thank you for being so friendly and helpful after the train platform fiasco.
