Eyes: Warm amber, almost seem to glow. In their WoLverse post ShB the left eye is opalescent with cracks of Light spreading up over the brow and down to his cheek.

Skin: Cool grey

Tattoos/scars: Some facial scars, no tattoos.

F A M I L Y

Parents: As yet unnamed but still alive

Siblings: none

Grandparents: at least one set is still alive

In-laws and Other: No in-laws. The only relationship of significance is their friendship with @mythandral's Kenwyn, who is also on the outs with their community for similar reasons. Kenwyn is the only person Vaisha considers an unconditional friend.

Pets: no designated pets but the woodland creatures of the Shroud tend to be far more friendly to them than most, especially those around the ruins of Amdapor Keep. They've also befriended the local murder of crows.

Abilities: Thaumaturgy, knowledge of medicinal herbs and minor wound dressing/bone setting. The Duskwight tend not to practise conjury on principle so all healing is done the long and natural way.

Deciding that Vaisha has hella aether sight on par with Krile and I'll ponder the wider implications of that re: elementals later but I remembered that they were originally supposed to wind up with Aymeric post ShB as they recover in Ishgard, and had thought of a whole Extremely Gay sequence of events where Aymeric asks if his aether is as blue as the rest of him.

Having a powerful aether sight also has lots of Implications during ShB as well and I think that he and Y'shtola would grow closer during that time. And she would yell at him for his stupid plan of trying to absorb as much Light as possible to try and wrest control of the sineaters from Vauthry.

I really need to get them out of ARR MSQ I think he just finished......Ifrit? He has to do the cheese dungeon still.

What advice would they give to people seeking to visit their homeland?

Vaisha would simply say "don't". They get a lot of people asking questions about the nature-loving, peaceful Gridanian nation and they are the first to dispel any illusions.

If they're feeling charitable, they'll point the way to Buscarron's, but no further.

10. Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive? Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

Just did this for Kitali so now I'll do it for Vaisha.

Vaisha is very pragmatic, and tbh is kind of self absorbed, as well as not really having any pleasant associations with where they grew up. The one thing they keep as a token is a little carved wooden figurine that @mythandral's Kenwyn made for them when they were teenagers.

What do they do to pass time during long journeys? (caravans, chocobo rides, etc.)

I don't think Vaisha journeys all that much. The first long trip they took was from the Shroud to Ul'dah to practise thaumaturgy with the guild properly. I would imagine that they would be reading, though that's a bit difficult to do on a chocobo. Beneath their collected exterior there is an element of wide-eyed wonder at the world around them. He's spent most of his life in the Black Shroud so seeing the rest of the star is exciting.

Do they like bard performances? What's their favorite type of shows?

Vaisha loves a good campfire performance night. Those are the lighter nights while living in the Shroud. They aren't too keen on the flavour of song once they get to Ul'dah, too much about making money and bedding drunk women for their tastes. The sea shanties in Limsa are much closer to what they had at home, and they'll often camp out in the Wench just listening against the wall.

texture: Does your OC favor any specific kinds of cloth or textures? Is there anything they can't wear or don't like? What sort of fabrics do they prefer?

Vaisha likes heavy, durable, and most importantly fire resistant fabrics. A lot of their wardrobe is leather and linens with elongated silhouettes and lots of drape. I don't think they have too many Bad Textures since so many of their clothes are loose fitting but anything with a coarser weave is right out. They aren't a huge fan of brocade either.

Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status? (Vaisha or Kitali)

Vaisha is always more concerned with their status/connections/leverage than anything else. Having a moral code and sense of honour was kinda antithetical to their survival from a very young age (thanks for nothing, Gridania) so that really isn't a consideration for them when making decisions.
