rewatched secret society and. the sheenkos do straight-up call chiro "son". no one else in the series does that. we hear skeleton king and mandarin and a few other villains call him "boy" but they specifically use the word "son". the narrative even calls attention to this, with chiro saying "don't call me son". we don't really see the sheenkos talk to anyone other than chiro and valeena, and they call them "son" and "daughter" respectively. we don't know if, idk, they call everyone familial names like that, but i find it odd that they specifically call chiro "son" while also calling valeena, their biological child, "daughter".
anyway my crackpot theory of "chiro is the secret youngest son of the sheenkos and therefore is valeena's little brother" has a little bit of weight to it.

What if ma and pa shanko were originally good people until they were possessed by the floating eye in shadow over Shuggazoom and they got hooked on the evil that they decided to follow that feeling and praise sk?
Well, if that’s what the eye did, then the entire city would be the SK fanclub. Including the ENTIRE TEAM.
And even if it was just the Sheenkos... Well, when the hell would they sacrifice Valeena? If it was mid season 2, then??? Valeena is like 12 when we see her?? And i literally cannot stand a universe where valeena is younger than me. That’s just fucked up.
I truly believe that the Sheenkos just got too deep into Occult stuff and thought the Skeleton King was the best way to go about it. I mean, they barely worship SK himself, they love the power he gives them.
They could easily be really nice people AND into occult stuff, but NOOOO they decided Shuggazoom domination was how to do it. Sacrificing your assigned Goth at birth daughter for brownie points from Mr King? Horrible!
