"Io-? (Me-?) " his tone sounded surprised; his cheeks flushed with a slightly darker purple.

"Why- ahah... thank you.." he chuckled, twirling some of his hair, before straightening his collar.

"Ah- might I inquire about who you are?.. I don't think we've met."

He was going to say 'I don't think I've ever met anyone like you' since he still struggled to recognize anuthing vaguely shaped like a human..

But then he remembered he'd been in isolation for about, three centuries, so... it was common for him not to recognize barely anything human at this point, and having to get used to seeing people again.

BRAMANTE.

stress: does my muse handle stress well? what is a surefire sign for others to tell that they’ve become stressed? how does stress affect them mentally / physically? 

Absolutely not. The man becomes nearly hysterical if he's too stressed, he tries avoiding any kind of conversation or interaction that could lead to conflict or otherwise unpleasant scenarios. (Keep in mind he has been sealed away from society or other human connections for like 200-300 years)

You can tell when he's becoming stressed because he starts getting panick-y, his breathing quickers and he tries to leave the situation constantly.

The 'physical' effects of stress is often what he tries to avoid by attempting to leave the situation and isolating himself. If he gets way to stressed and becomes hysterical, and he starts getting scared; this overexaggeration of negative emotions, especially fear- end up triggering his bat form. It's not something he controls. The bat form is his vampire side's instincts pretty much kicking in to ensure his survival; this happens when he's starving or when he's really scared. He will stay in his bat form until his body feels secure/safe again.

• ROTGUT'S CHILDREN.

ROTGUT. (TBA)

Rotgut's greatest joy in all of his 800 years of life so far, and also his greatest weakness, are his children. In recent-ish times, Gut would go through 3 pregnancies (he can reproduce asexually)- the first which happened sometime around the mid 1800's, the second which happened in the early-mid 1900's, and the most recent one having happened in 1999-2000; he currently has a total of 30 cockroach/humanoid hybrid children (3 diff batches of 10 offsprings), all of which he's very attached to and loves unconditionally. It's because of his most recent batch of offsprings that he now isn't as active as he tended to be in the past; he'd rather look after his youngest than be out of the house all night causing chaos wherever he goes. Rarely does he leave his home nowadays to have some time to himself.

His behaviour does a complete °180 when he's around his kids- and he becomes a tired, sometimes grumpy but caring father, though this didn't stop some of his kids(the few that didn't grow up to be as disgusting and vile as he is) from distancing themselves from him when they realized how much of an asshole he is to most people that aren't family (it hurt him, and even though he refuses to change- he understands their reasons); they do visit him from time to time, in which Rotgut actually tries his best to be a good person for once in public just for their sake.

Ok...official voice claim for Bramante: this, and this (whenever he's speaking in italian, this is what it sounds like <3)

His accent is evident when he's speaking in english.

He might be a vampire, but unlucky for poor Bramante- there's two things that can be fatal for him if he's not careful: starvation. And sunlight.

Crosses and garlic have no effect on him- they just make him feel extreme repulsion, excellent repellents if you want him to keep his distance. Bullets and stakes to the heart are pretty much the same as causing him any other type of wound- it'll hurt him, yes, but it's not going to kill him. He just heals up and scolds you for hurting him >:(

Sunlight ...on the other hand, is maybe not as painful as slowly starving to death, but it's a much worse way for him to perish: his skin will start to quickly boil and burn (3 secs exposed to the sun results in a 3rd degree burn on him, so you have an idea), then he'll catch on fire before every cell, every organ inside him gives up and he ends up exploding. (Anything close-by WILL potentially catch on fire if any of his remains fall onto it)

A drop of his blood alone, getting exposed to sunlight, is capable of causing a terrible explosion; it doesn't turn into steam- no, it starts boiling (probably as hot as boiling oil in a frying pan) before bursting.

Bramante has attempted to test out once or twice what would happen if he opened a wound and let his blood drip on a surface where sunlight shined- needless to say, the results makes him never want to find out what'll happen to him if he ever steps outside during daylight hours.
