a fan asks if jared or jensen did anything to fuck with misha on his birthday, because the year before jared pulled this mean texting prank

and jared goes on to say no he didn’t, because west is little so he’s going easier on him.

then jared turns to jensen to confirm what day misha’s birthday was (??)

he says he texted misha really early in the morning on misha’s birthday driving home

"Hey dude, unless I’m mistaken it’s your birthday, so happy birthday. if not, go back to sleep"

and then jensen does this really awkward forced smile at that??

and looks down at his feet

i mean who knows why jensen looks so uncomf at that bit, but he sure does dude.

misha texted back when he woke up “man, that sucks, it is my birthday, but you’re the first person to text me”

then jensen does his misha laugh

even though it’s misha-by-fucking-proxy.

he is completely ridiculous okay

and thennnn jensen feigns not knowing who misha is so he doesn’t have to answer.

pls.

like. yeah. i wonder why jensen wouldn’t want to answer what he did for misha’s birthday. i mean??  either he didn’t do anything and he felt bad or it’s something too personal to share on stage. He’s done the “i don’t know who you’re talking about” thing wrt to misha a few times though, i think it’s just a bit of a defense mechanism cause he keeps his relationship with misha pretty private, anyway you look at it, tinhat on or off. He doesn’t really mention him of his own accord too often, certainly doesn’t mention dinners they have together or any times they’ve spent personally just hanging out. So whatever it is he feels for misha, he sees it as really private and it’s important enough that he sometimes cant even let himself talk about him honestly.

And the “i don’t know who that is” is, i think, totally an instance of a joke that’s funny because the exact opposite is true, that jensen knows misha so intimately that he doesn’t feel comfortable talking about it on stage. It’s actually, i think a lot like a little kid who says they hate the person they have a crush on “ew, i don’t like her, she’s gross.” He’s just trying to protect himself.

and jared is quite amused by jensen’s deflection too which is adorable

From the way jensen reacts when jared suggests misha was asleep when he got the text, i’m thinking either misha really really wasn’t asleep and jensen knows that because he was there, or it was after that and they were still in bed together.

Got home today from the supernatural vancon11 glad to be back to america where driving seems less confusing. Had a great time though. the last night my friend and I sat at the end of the hall jokingly attempting to run our own panel from our notes from characters impala and ellen.lol... didnt quite work out so great but we ended up going in to the party that we didnt know we could get tickets to... AMAZING TIMES. wish we could have taken pictures from the whole trip but no cam :(  Next yr will be even better though, no getting lost n we'll go gold :) need to recover from trip though.
