When Prince Ventus's wedding day to the prince of Remnant turns into an invasion, he ends up locked away with his future husband, only to realize he is not who Ven expected.
And this is the last zine drawing for now (I still have 4 projects more but I’m not allowed to talk about them just yet =v=;)
Got invited to the VanVen zine Vol2 and it was a challenge to work on it while in the middle of my first art school year eh, but it was nice to see that what I was learning at the time was useful n.n
Another wonderful zine piece, this time for the VanVen zine. This ship is a rare case where I like a wide variety of ship styles for them. I like when it's romantic, enemies to lovers, strictly platonic, or even horrific. Vanitas and Ventus kind of have all these energies between them that's difficult to put into words or even art sometimes.
@vanvenweek 2023 is here, so I'm posting my entry for the day 1 prompt "Royalty"! And I just had to revisit the story I started for vanven zine earlier this year. Prepare for arranged marriage and angst. And Ven getting a little too bold.
If there was one thing Ven had been counting on to delay his fate, it was that planning a royal wedding took time. Surely, he and Vanitas would be able to come up with some clever escape scheme before then, run away from the palace and go into hiding, only to gather allies from the shadows and reclaim the throne. It was how the stories went.
Except the stories—and Ventus—had not taken into account the fact that this wedding was already all planned for.
This is the drawing I made for the VanVen vol1 Zine back in 2019-2020, this and the Ventus one where some of my first full illustrations so they were a big challenge for me back then (also cause I was working on both of them while having classes eh)
