So, you want to find Type O Negative soundalikes?
As someone whose explored a fuck ton I have recommendations, I can't promise that they're necessarily good or live up to the original but I can tell you that they have elements that may sound similar. I'll list each of them and say my personal opinion on them.
Frown
They're just eh, following the stylings of the more mellower parts of Type O with none of the memorability of them.
October Noir
This would be my highest recommendation, I’d suggest you hear them for yourself.
A Pale Horse Named Death
Really really boring. Would not recommend. The comparison is mainly because it has former Type O members in there but it’s missing all of the oomph and hooks the band had. Maybe if you’re really into grunge-y alternative metal-type stuff you might like it, but it’s certainly not for me.
Pist.On
Their debut was produced by Josh Silver of Type O fame, and has an excellent cover of a Smiths song. I would only really recommend their first album.
Wicked Sisters
New and obscure band from Australia. I'd recommend giving a listen to their single "Necromantic" or their “We Suck” EP, the texture and riffing definitely reminds me of Type O.
Carnivore
Peter Steele’s previous band before fronting Type O. Sonically, it would be my favorite thrash band if not for the lyrics. Avoid at all costs if you're sensitive to misogynistic lyrics. I’m serious. He may or may not have meant some of the lyrics as satire but the fact it’s a man making the point using misogynistic language makes it backfire.
Vasaria
Missing any sort of Type O texture, but the singer is also the current singer of Carnivore A.D., might be interesting. I'd recommend "Ugly as Sin".
End of Recommendations
I think that's most of what I've found. Honorable mentions, as in, I do not hear it at all but for some reason they get compared a lot:
Danzig
Eh? It's mostly just bluesy heavy metal. Dude has a deep voice and they do some Sabbath-y riffs, but that does not make a Type O.
Abysmal Grief
Maybe if you're really into the "doom with keyboards" aspect of Type O, but there isn’t a lot of variety or hooks.
In the Colonnades
Their first album reminds me more of Spinal Tap if anything. Closer to Danzig than it is to Type O imo.
Stillborn
Heavy Metal/Doom Metal with some Gothic Rock influence, not really sure why they get compared.
Life of Agony
Specifically, River Runs Red. It was produced by Josh Silver and had drumming by a former drummer of the band.
I hope this helps someone!
I may or may not have copied most of this word for word from what I typed on the metal archives forum but also it’s not like I can plagiarize myself.

A fandom quiz that needs knowledge from 2 or more completely different fandoms would be cool like
If Flutrane : Vasaria : : Mestionora: ____?
It'd be an interesting team game with people from random fandoms.
Just a thought ig

Trapezophoron, the Greek term (from τράπεζα, table, and φέρειν, to bear) given to the leg or pedestal of a small side table, generally in marble, and carved with winged lions or griffins set back to back, each with a single leg, which formed the support of the pedestal on either side. In Pompeii there was a fine example in the house of Cornelius Rufus, which stood behind the impluvium. These side tables were known as mensae vasariae and were used for the display of vases and lamps. Sometimes they were supported on four legs, the example at Pompeii (of which the museums at Naples and Rome contain many varieties) had two supports only, one at each end of the table. The term is also applied to a single leg with lion's head, breast and forepaws, which formed the front support of a throne or chair.

It’s December 13th, so it’s time for my annual “Advent” calendar of sorts. This is Number 13 in a series of bits of holiday nonsense that I’ve put together over the years. If I have time, I may try to come up with a few more this year.

The Arcana || Apprentice Profile
Name: Taizien ‘Tai’ Vasaria
Age: 29 years
Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing at 5”8 feet Tai is characterised by her dark raven black hair that is normally tied into a messy plait and her brilliant amber eyes. She has two noticeable scars, a small diamond shaped one on her left eyebrow and a longer one on her left cheek, as well as a light spattering of freckles at the corner of her eyes and over her nose.
Personality: Generally open-minded, but known for her stubborn tendencies, Tai is an energetic, empathetic person finding great joy in spending time with her friends. At times (with the absence of her memories) she can be restless and sometimes foolish when it comes to making quick decisions, but always strives to be as selfless as she can be.
Love Interest: Julian Devorak
Favourite Food: Pumpkin Bread (but a close second is Salted Caramel)
Favourite Drink: Cloudy Lemonade
Favourite Flower: Sunflowers
Backstory: With many of her memories of the past missing Tai is currently unaware of her origins as the daughter of a smith (her mother) and a magical circus performer (her father). With her father unaware of her existence, Tai was raised by her mother until reaching the age of fourteen when a rouge fire burned her home down, killing her mother in the process. Shortly thereafter she travelled to Vesuvia to her aunt who gave her a home and began training her to use magic after discovering her magical abilities inherited by her father. During her time growing up in Vesuvia, Tai met Asra (who she and her aunt welcomed into their home) and then Nadia who enjoyed getting away from Lucio with the two. When her aunt passed away Tai briefly met Julian, not realising they would have any connection in the future. During the plague, she died, but with Asra’s magic she was given a new body with no memory of the past.

Another commission of Sanahe (on DeviantArt) 's 40k character Bethrie Rosethorn. It's in the inquisition timeline.
"There is a reason the Inquisition recruits allies from all walks of life; soldiers, savants, and even low-life scum have unique talents to draw upon in their service to the Holy Ordos. So it was no surprise Inquisitor Yvonne Mengsk called upon his Acolyte, Bethrie Rosethorn, to infiltrate one of the hive gangs involved in smuggling heretical artefacts on Vasaria Secundus. And while Bethrie’s experiences as an underhive thief had proven useful in securing her place, she took her guise with frightening enthusiasm. After all, you can take the girl out of the hive, but you can never take the hive out of the girl."
