3 Weeks Later [In total, a month and half since Alexia and Ellis ventured out into the Wastelands]

Bellamy aged up into an Infant! Bellamy's Traits are Wiggly, Early Riser and Frequently Sneezes.

Owyn aged up into a teen! Owyn's Traits are Good, Cheerful, High Self-Esteem, Happy Toddler, and Top Notch Infant.

Saylor aged up into an Adult!

Ok. Deep breath. I finished it! I managed to (after a ton of research and note-taking) set up 10 full generational challenges since my Mini 5 Gen version went over so well with everyone. Please use #VaultTecChallenge if you take it on! 👽 Once again... just to be thorough... Mods, Downloads and relevant cc below the cut.

-MODS- You need some kind of homeschool mod. The one I found was: Better Schools: Online Schooling by KawaiiStacie A mod that allows your children to attend school via computer. -BUILDS- If you don’t want to build your own vault, there are some vaults on the gallery that could easily be gently modified for this challenge. I looked up some builds, but I’m sure there are many more out there. If you build a vault and upload it to the gallery, tag it with#VaultTecChallengeso others doing the challenge can find it! >>Vault 148 by ChillyAcademic- This is by far the most detailed and realistic vault I have found on the gallery thus far. >>Fallout Shelter 14A by Hero_E92- A really good-sized vault that probably doesn’t need a ton of adjustment. >>Bunker by Mariedcause- A really great build that could work for this challenge very quickly. >>User RistoTCThas a set of modular vault rooms built along with a base lot to attach them to. Check their gallery to see them all. >> Fallout Bunker by erinmeakin- This is a large vault that would likely need some adjustment, but many facilities are already done for you.

vault 1013's laundromat and apartments. there's a little sitting area where you can get some 'sun', soak in the pool, and at the end of the hall is the party room.

Middle level....of three....of my wip “vault.” I started with someone else’s build and just kept the central part and changed most everything else. I made my two starting couples first, and then been working on this off and on most of the week. Not happy with everything yet, but it’s time for a break. Life has been busy, and it probably won’t let up until the weekend. Hopefully :)

The group set out to explore the vault after a moment of collective silence.

Jackie found the cafeteria to be lacking. She was used to her kitchen back home; open, with plenty of counter space and utensils for every possible culinary task. Cooking was not just a passion, it was her career. She would have to work harder, not smarter, with what the vault supplied. Regardless, she said, I have enough here to ration out some decent meals for us for a while.

Lexi was pleased to find the medical and research equipment available was new and plentiful. Though she was still a resident when the bombs dropped, she figured she could complete her research and become the vault's medical doctor in short time. It isn't like there is much else to do except work, she said with a lopsided smile.

Beau wandered into the schoolroom and wondered for a time if it would even get put to use. He was teaching English and Literary at a secondary school and enjoyed it immensely. He tried not to think about his students as he sat down at the desk and stared at the empty seats. I'll draft up some lesson plans, he said. If nothing else, it will keep my mind busy.

Naiomi was well aware that the vault would need regular maintenance. Their engineering studies were focused on robotics, but some hands-on experience and time spent going over manuals would be a good start at upkeep. There are a few gadgets I could build to help lessen the load too, they said. Maybe even a service bot.

Overall, the group felt a little better knowing they had a place in their new home.

A couple days later back at Vault 95

Jameson: Is this okay? Is this helping?

Mabel: *breathes out* This is better.

Jameson: Okay, you just let me know when you want to move to a different position.

In the middle of the Vault

Val: Mom's gone and Dad is busy with Mabel. This is awful! It's my birthday.

Clem: I'm here, sis.

Val: yeah, great. My annoying little sister is here.

Clem: Hey!

Val: Okay, you're not that annoying.

Clem: I heard Mr. Ben is making a green cake!

Val: EW! I can't wait to see it!

Clem: I'm gonna blow out your candles before you will! HAHA

Val: DON'T YOU DARE!

In the Dining Hall

Clem: Look how GREEN!

Owyn: It looks so gross! Haha so cool! My dad is the best at making cakes!

Branson: I want one of these for my birthday!

Val: Well, you can't, because it's for my birthday!

Ben: I can make you one to Branson for your birthday, Val don't be mean to Branson.

Val: I'm sorry Branson, I'm sorry Mr. Ben.

Ben: It's okay Val. Let's sing Happy Birthday and blow out your candles!

The kids and Ben sing Happy Birthday to Val.

Val aged up into a teen gaining the trait, Self Absorbed. Her aspiration at the moment is Soulmate [Which I'm probably going to ignore because I personally don't think teens should have young adult/adult aspirations].

Val as a teen! [I also did not plan for the boys to be up there, that's so funny. I think Owyn has to pee too. I saw the hat and had to put it on her, I couldn't stop myself.]

In the Medical Bay

Mabel had a difficult birth, with Jameson no where to be found.

Introducing our newest Vault Dweller Bellamy Graham born at 8 PM at 21.1 inches and 7.6 lbs. Mabel gave birth to Bellamy by herself, Jameson no where to be found.

In the Dining Hall

Saylor and Ben have a small birthday party for their little girl, Ophelia!

The party went off without a hitch! Even though Everly is still bitter with Natashia they were able to have a good time. Jude and Richard went full frat mode and did several keg stands.

Aisha was surprised that Annabelle had finally showed up to what was supposed to be their weekly run together. It'd been...two or three months, she calculated, since Annabelle had bothered to come up to the gym, and Aisha thought it was starting to show. Annabelle was sweating profusely during what what would before have been a pretty easy warmup. "So...." Aisha began, "what's up with you lately? Haven't seen you up here in a while." "Yeah," Annabelle said, wiping sweat from her forehead, "well, you know how it goes. I've been beating myself up over the fact that Emmett and I can't get pregnant, and at first I thought maybe less physical activity would help, but that turned into just sitting in front of the TV and feeling sorry for myself. And, I mean, look at me. It obviously didn't do me any favors." Annabelle gestured at her midsection, which was undeniably bloated from the time she'd spent holed up in her apartment.

"Well, you could've talked to me about it, Annabelle. It's not like Alec and I haven't experienced some of that ourselves." "Alec has been gone for months, I'm sure he would've put a baby in you last week if he wasn't MIA. I know exactly what he gets up to." Annabelle laughed, thinking about her oversexed, overeager vault neighbor. "I hope he comes back soon. I'm sorry, Aisha, but I think I need to go lay down. Suddenly I'm not feeling very well."

Annabelle woke with a start. She'd fallen asleep in the bath. Again. She toweled herself off, sitting down on the couch that had recently developed an Annabelle-sized dent in the cushion. The next thing she knew, it was 6 pm.

"I don't understand what's wrong with me," Annabelle muttered groggily into the mirror. "Eight hours of sleep, and it's not enough. I feel horrible." She took stock of her reflection, with a growing sense of despair. "I look horrible. I haven't felt like this since..." she trailed off, remembering. The nausea, the swelling in her ankles, the constant unending fatigue. "Oh my god. I have to find Emmett." Throwing on her vault uniform, Annabelle bolted from the apartment.

"Emmett!" she cried, running into the Overseer's office. "Annabelle, I know. I didn't want to say anything, in case it wasn't true, but..." he looked at her, eyes welling up. "It is true, isn't it? Finally?" "Emmett," she said, "we're having a baby."

This ended up being only 5 generations long because... there's only so much you can accomplish exclusively underground... but I left it open ended in case anyone has any ideas!
