Solarpunk Aesthetic Week: The Importance of Rest

Hiya y'all!

You'd never guess who tried to finish that art piece today (the cafe one) but got utterly exhausted and is currently up and at inane hour of the night (2 hours past my goal bedtime... shocking)... oh dearie. I suppose that happens when we don't rest.

I'll rally and get it done with tomorrow if my tablet allows, and then take Shabbat off to nap all day with my cat. Speaking of! Here's the baby!

Hey fellas. Sorry I've been less active since like..July? There's various reasons like the Awdry event at the Talyllyn and the week of preparation I did for that, then I got the flu for two weeks, and some other things happened that I don't even remember now, but then I actually got some freelance work! It's for sure through October, but then after that it's a bit up in the air whether or not there will be more work for me. In any case, because it's freelance I can set my own hours and I like to make Wednesday a half day, so I should hopefully have some more time to draw and work on things (like, idk, the wedding???). I'd like to still keep the asks light just to let myself rest and focus on other things, though. Still can't believe I actually posted an ask every week for like.. 5 months. For my ADHD riddled brain that's a HUGE deal. But anyway...

The Changes!

I'm changing a couple things for my Patreon. Namely I'm removing the livestream reward tier, since I'm actually working now I don't always have something lined up to work on and I was planning on reducing those anyway as the days get shorter and I have less energy. I'd like to still do them occasionally but they might be public ones on Discord.

Another change is I'm getting rid of the monthly content polls, for basically the same reason as above. Less time and energy and I don't want to make promises I can't keep. 

I've also added a new reward to tier 2 and 3, that being unused/old content. I want to differentiate between unused/old and behind the scenes, the former being stuff I never finished or posted, and behind the scenes being stuff relating to something I've posted recently. Now that I have a way to use Paint Tool SAI on my mac (not for drawing, just to open files), I can actually see what these files are and I've found a lot of goodies.

So yeah, if you're interested in that, tier 2/Really Useful and up will have that. Tier one is still just for early access.

If you're currently a Super Useful Engine and don't utilize the monthly drawing reward, I'd recommend switching to tier 2 since that's now the main/biggest perk of tier 3. Of course if you want to keep supporting me at that level anyway, that's perfectly fine too. Just thought I'd let you know so you know what you're paying for.

I thiiiiink that's it? The part-time useful engine tier will be brought back as a tip tier since I'm removing the poll. So if I'm not active enough for you but you'd still like to show some support you can always go that route.

When I went in the shower, Jake spent the first few minutes looking at me, sniffing my wet hand when offered, then laying down next to the bath. I think he knew it was my last full day with him and it was making me sad :( I have to give him back to my parents tomorrow
