That time I was still dithering between Karlach and Lae'zel as Vin's canon romance option and then... A SURPRISE CONTENDER APPEARED in the form of Wyllyam (surprising in that while they were bezzie mates, they hadn't had any romantic interaction up to that point). Look at themmmm! My girl Vin Venture did not murder an immortal dark lord, found an empire, save the world, and ascend to godhood only to lose the @yafantasywifetournament​.

Now, I could tell you all about how Vin is such a badass that 300 years later she is still considered a feminist icon and people are naming sick mage-killer guns after her. I could tell you about how Vin is a murder hurricane flying through the mists and demolishing armies of monsters with a sword taller than she is.

But today I’m here to tell you specifically why Vin deserves to beat Nina Zenik in the Fantasy Wife Tournament.

-She never sent her love interest to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Even though they were very much on opposite sides.

-She’s worshiped as a living Saint. Yes, there is quite literally a religion built around her. She’s not Nina-tier, she’s Alina Starkov-tier.

-She’s an empress with her own name. This one’s for the Rule of Wolves readers- looking at you, “Mila Jandersdat”. Vin didn’t need any Tailoring or trickery to win a throne for her boyfriend- she did that based on pure undiluted awesomeness. Twice. 300 years later there’s still a statue of her in the middle of the capital city. You think Fjerda will remember the Corpsewitch that fondly?

In conclusion, vote for Vin Venture. Also, she could beat Nina in a fight. Even with her hands tied.
