The conquerors💖 here are my designs or Visenya, Aegon, and Rhaeneys

I got this from a reliable source but I can't put it on my own blog because it could lead back to them: boat baby's name will be Rhaegonerys!

Oh dear god anon! I just spit on my computer screen. No no no no no please no! Gawd that would be so bad. No more combination names!

Albus Severus was pretty bad.

Renesmee was worse.

Rhaegonerys would be the death of the entire fandom lol.

But since we’re on names, I’ll make my predictions as to what Jon and Dany may actually name their kid. From least likely to most likely, here are my top 5 for a boy or girl:

5) Rhaegar - the father Jon never had/the brother Dany never had. Dany was going to name her first son after him but never got to. And if the dragons all die, I think this would certainly be a possibility or some derivative of it (not Rhaegonerys!).

5) Visenya - The girl name Jon likely was supposed to have should he have been a girl, also the feminine of Viserys/Viserion, Dany’s brother and the dragon Dany lost to save Jon/make boatbaby possible.

4) Robb - Jon imagines himself having a son with Val that he could name Robb. However Robb was likely named after Robert Baratheon who killed Dany’s brother and Jon’s father so they might not go this route. But it’s certainly possible.

4)  Daenys - A derivative of Dany’s name and after Daenys the dreamer who is Dany’s namesake.

3) Aemon - A Targaryen name, Jon’s hero Prince Aemon the Dragonknight, and Jon’s mentor. Pretty likely but the name has no meaning for Dany and of course, she likes using names that hold meaning for her.

3) Rhaeneys - the sister Jon never had, Dany’s niece. Kind of the feminine form of Rhaegar and of course, a classic name. 

2) Eddard/Ned - Jon’s “real” father. Robb and Talisa never got to name their son Eddard so it would be fitting for Jon and Dany to get to. And Ned did try to protect Dany by not supporting Robert’s decision to have her killed.

2) Rhaella - Dany’s mother, Jon’s grandmother. It’s a pretty name. Targaryen name. Also kind of the feminine form of Rhaegar. 

1) Aegon - I know some of you are thinking, ew, gag, but wait! Why do I think this the most likely male name? Because it was the name Jon was supposed to have but never went by. I think it would be fitting for him to give his son the name his mother gave him. Because we all know Jon will not go by Aegon VI.

1) Lyanna - Jon’s real mother, it’s a very Northern name but doesn’t sound terrible with Targaryen at the end of it. And Dany even thinks about Lyanna from time to time in the context of Rhaegar loving her so it isn’t completely meaningless to her either. Jon always wanted to know the identity of his mother so if he and Dany have a girl, I think it would be perfect for Jon to acknowledge his mother’s identity in a major way and give the name to his daughter.

*Also, I do think, because Dany has a nickname - Stormborn - it’s possible Boatbaby will get a second/middle name. Either something to do with the Winter weather he/she was born into or the Spring he/she will usher in.

your opinion on what got spinoffs you'd like to see?

ooooooh. i’d love to see the epic aegon’s conquest and how they’d pull that off. i’d love to see torrhen stark battle with himself about giving up the north’s independence. and visenya would be fuckin incredible. and just the poly dynamics of aegon, rhaeneys and visenya could be very interesting to explore. orys and the storm queen!!!!! so much potential. 

obv the blackfyre rebellion would be amazing but idk i don’t feel like i neeeeeeed to see that. it would be very game of thrones-esque with the backstabbing and politics and dragons. what i’d like to see is brandon the builder. so all magic and mythology and tradition and greatly different societal values and way of life. going more into the old gods and just how clever he was architecturally.

roberts rebellion i’d love to see. like love love love. i’m too invested in elia, lyanna, ashara, arthur, rhaegar, and all the young versions of the characters we know. but grrm has already said that’s not going to be one of the spin offs so :( 

i’d love to see a spinoff of nymeria and dorne. look i just need dorne done right. got fucked it up so bad so they need to redeem themselves. just give me one tv show based in dorne with amazing poc, lgbt, feminist characters.
