One of the most prevalent issues we deal with today is poor #posture and #PosturalAlignment. It may be due to our jobs or the increased use if #smartphones and constantly looking down. With underactive muscles and overactive corresponding muscles, it creates imbalances and dysfunctional effects on your body. #Stability plays an important factor in everything we do. Not to mention doing #pushups on #medicineballs. Top video is performed without cueing to activate the #core, #glutes, #legs. Bottom video is performed with cues to #stabilize on the medicine balls. Huge improvement in control of the movement. This allows more focus on the exercise and less on trying not to fall on your face! Lol So regardless of what exercises you do, try activating and engaging as many muscles as possible. I tried this push-up variation for the first time. #ArcherPushUp My technique is okay for a first timer! My only issue is this move puts a lot of load on the shoulders so it's more challenging for me having shoulder issues! I'm sure as I work on my technique I will be able to get more lat load to lessen the stress on the shoulders. Definitely a fun move. You can't tell by the look on my face tho!
