“If you won’t give me a reason, then I will tell him and your father that you kicked me out of the meeting room.” He says while turning into the warehouse lot. He killed the engine and turned towards me. “I’ll wait until you feel the need to tell me.”

“If I tell you, Jae Duck then you have to keep your mouth shut.” I say while making eye contact with him.

“Okay, now what happened in the room?” he asks

“Taeyong and I, we have been together for two and half years without knowing each other's occupation. We even have a house together. Today when I saw him, I didn’t know what to do. I kinda panicked and kicked everyone out so we could talk.” I reply while slightly looking down.

“And you need to talk to Jiwon about an alliance huh?” Jaeduck asks, already knowing the answer.

I promise that he didn’t know about me being in the mafia until today nor did I know he was the boss of Nct. I am really sorry, Jiwon. I love him and I don’t want to lose him.” I say while looking down.

“Okay, there are two options for you. One you can break up with him and I won’t tell your father and things can continue as normal. Two you and Taeyong can come here tomorrow and the three of us can figure something out. So, what will it be?” Jiwon states.

“Option two, just please don’t tell my father until this is all figured out, he is already breathing down my neck about me leading the Seoul division.”  I say while making eye contact with him.

“Fine, you and Taeyong have to be here at ten sharp, Deal?”

“Now, go home Y/N/N.” He says while looking at the file again.

“Thank you, Jiwon.” I say before walking out of the door.

As soon as I am home, I take off my shoes in the entryway and smell the take out from our favorite place. “Tae, I am home and I have news.” I say and sit at the kitchen table next to him.

“We can talk about it while we eat.” he says and hands me some chopsticks.

“I went to the Sechskies godfather.” I hear Tae choke on his rice. 

“Babe, I said that I was going to do that.” He says while drinking some water.

“I am, and Tae you know your pistol has to stay in my car. You are most likely going to be searched by someone before you are allowed in Jiwon’s office.” I say while adjusting the dagger that sits on the side of my boot.

“I figured as much, now let’s go and get this meeting done with.” He says while walking toward me and pulling me in for a quick kiss.
