Or maybe something like Three Meals a Day from Na PD where they go to a remote village (fishing village/mountain village) and they basically stay there every weekend and cook three meals a day while doing other errands.

“Hi, everyone!”  Edyth waved at the camera, eagerly waiting for people to enter the live. She glanced over at her own phone screen, looking through some of the comments.

“Where is your headband from? Oh! My headband is actually a gift! Yun got it for me on Christmas.”

She answered a few more questions before clapping her hands, signifying the beginning of the actual liveshow.

“Good morning, everyone! Or, I guess it could be night where you are… anyways! It’s morning here and since I mentioned being recently into cooking, I was thinking I could do a little bit of a cooking vlive with you guys!”

The obvious excitement in her voice was enjoyable to watch and many carats expressed liking the idea of the stream.

“Since it is morning, I plan on making pancakes from scratch. None of the members are awake yet, so hopefully I’ll be done by the time they wake up!”

Edyth took her time reading through a recipe that she had found online, showing the ingredients to the viewers as she went. Soon enough, she had put all of her dry ingredients in one bowl and her wet ingredients in another. She planned using a hand mixer in order to get the batter done quicker. She plugged it in and placed it in the bowl.

“Why am I kind of nervous to do this?” Edyth asked carats. She chuckled nervously, then taking a deep breath, she finally turned it on. The batter immediately flies everywhere and Edyth lets out a scream before shutting the mixer off again. She’s frozen, with her mouth open and wide eyes flickering from the comments that are flying past her screen, the mixer still in her hand, now dripping with unmixed batter, and the batter now sticking to the counters and even the wall. 

“What happened?” 

Edyth whips her head at a person off screen like a deer caught in the headlights. Despite his raspy morning voice, carats are able to tell that it’s Jeonghan that has walked in on Edyth’s mess..

She pouts and puts down the bowl and mixer, “Did I wake you up? I’m sorry.” She is just now remembering how much of a light sleeper Jeonghan is and how she should have done this on the other floor where she wouldn’t have woken any of the light sleepers.

Jeonghan carefully steps over some batter that has splattered onto the kitchen floor. He shakes his head at Edyth, “How could I have not woken up when you're ruining our kitchen.” He chuckles when Edyths frown deepens, “I’m just kidding, I’ve been awake for a while but got worried when I heard you scream. I just wanted to make sure that nothing happened. Are you making breakfast?”

“Yea. Say hello to carats!”

Jeonghan waves at the phone. “Why don’t you clean the mess you’ve made and I’ll finish mixing this for you.”

The two get to work, Edyth whips down the counters and the floor while Jeonghan finishes mixing the batter, without getting it everywhere. They tear open a bag of chocolate chips. Edyth giggles as she adds them to the batter, trying her best to keep them away from Jeonghan, who was not so sneakily eating them. Soon enough, they’re taking turns pouring the batter onto a pan and flipping them.

It isn’t much later that they’ve moved to the living room, sitting cross legged in front of their table and with plated pancakes waiting to be eaten.

“Okay!” Edyth claps in excitement, “You take the first bite.”

Jeonghan laughs at her bubbliness. He’s still chuckling when he brings a fork up to his mouth and takes the first bite. He suddenly quiets down and his facial expression stills before seemingly recovering.

“What was that?” Edyth asks.

“What was what?”

Edyth points a finger at him, “I saw your face change! Do they suck?”

“No, no.” Jeonghan denies, his hands waving in front of him. “Sure, they’re not the best, but they’re….” He trails off, not being able to come up with an adjective to positively describe the food without lying. Edyth hits Jeonghan on the arm and they laugh.

“You eat it,” Jeonghan says.

Edyth reaches for her utensils and cuts herself a piece, shooting Jeonghan a dirty look, “I bet it’s good, you’re just messing with me.” 

Jeonghan laughs when she finally puts the first bite in her mouth. She chews slowly, as if trying to make up her mind on what to think of their creation. “It’s good?” Jeonghan teases.

The two of them decide to scrap the pancakes all together and instead of trying to make themselves breakfast, they chat with carats as they sip on their coffees. Soon enough, members start to wake up, each of them being offered a bite from their failed pancakes, and each of them spitting it out. Jeonghan and Edyth can only giggle as they watch their members suffer the same way they did.

As the stream comes to an end, Edyth thanks Jeonghan for making their morning fun and carats for sharing their morning with them. The two of them share a knowing look when Dk is the last member to enter the kitchen and is intrigued by the pancakes sitting on the counter.

Times Tae Debunked Tkkrs and Affirmed Jikook

I know a lot of Jikookers aren’t happy with Tae right now. They hold him responsible for stoking the fire that fuels Tkkrs. And Like I’ve previously stated I’m not one to police peoples feelings or opinions. Your anger is your own, same going for your opinions.However, in the spirit of peace and reconciliation I want to remind everyone of all the times Tae has intentionally and unintentionally debunked Tkk and affirmed Jikook…because he has done so more than any other member.

Tae has a personality that you either choose to hate or you choose to love because he’s an enigma. It’s often times difficult to know if he’s as oblivious as he seems, a genius mastermind that plays the airhead card, a free spirit or all of the above…my vote goes to all of the above! 

There are moments where it’s clear Tae is up to no good and is trying to serve JM and JK their just desert for abandoning him by exposing their location. Other times it seems like he has put zero thought into the implications of his words. However, regardless of his motives (or lack thereof) Tae is pretty good at playing games in the category of “softly exposing Jikook.”

So for funsies lets kick this off with one of Tae’s favorite games called…..

“Whose Room is It Anyway?”

When on tour it appears as though Tae never knows where other members rooms are. He’s either always messaging the group chat to find out where everyone is OR he’s just plain ole confused about whose room he’s in. 

Exhibit A. Osaka V live

I don’t think there’s a jikooker alive that hasn’t heard of this Vlive. However, When most here the words “Osaka” and “V-live” what typically comes to mind is JK clearly muttering the name “Jimin” whilst being butt naked in a dark room listening to sexy time music. 

However, what’s often overlooked is the how and the why we know this sensitive information. You see this gem of a jikook moment came to us for one reason and one reason only and that reason is Kim Taehyung and his childlike innocence (then). 

Tae has never been good at operating solo on his Vlives. He tends to run out of things to say and in this live that’s what happened. He ran out of things to talk about so he called on his fans to give him suggestions. They suggested he go to another members room. But Tae being Tae...didn’t know ANY of their room numbers! Don’t believe me...I have the receipts!

See he didn’t know any of the members room numbers. He texts the group chat to get members room numbers and I guess it was Jin that replied with the members room numbers. Not JK. Jin. Tae decided to go to JK’s room (my guess is because he can pull the hyung card on him and sort of voluntell him to go along) and he messaged JK to let him know he was coming but JK never responded. We know this because when he arrived JK asked him multiple ties what he was doing there. 

Now I won’t analyze this Jikook moment because it’s been analyzed enough. What I want to point out is how in this moment  Tae unintentionally debunked every Taekook claim because HE. DIDN’T. KNOW.JK’s. ROOM. NUMBER!!! 

I don’t know about you but I’m 100% certain that I wouldn’t need a third party to tell me where my boyfriends room was!

Now some may cry...this was just one time...he probably just forgot! And I would respond...haven’t you heard the news????? Tae is the grand champion of the game Who’s Room Is It Anyway!

This moment is another famous Jikook Vlive most known for Jikooks tension. However, when watching this I also noticed that while Tkkers for some reason also like to claim this live as their own, Tae debunks them. I mean he again broadcast his lack of knowledge of where JK’s room is. Take a look for yourself down below .. .

Tae didn’t know whose room he was in. My guess is he thought it was either JM’s or JK’s room.

Now to be fare... a “valid” question does arise...and that question is if he didn’t know JK’s room number, how did he get there??

And to answer that question I’d say he could have done many things including but not limited to texting the group chat...but in reality its neither here nor there because this one simple fact remains...TAE WASN’T CERTAIN OF THE ROOM HE WAS IN! If he were dating JK he wouldn’t need to ask him...he’d know!

What boyfriend would so frequently be confused as to where his partner is sleeping? Moreover, why would that same boyfriend confuse his partners room for his best friends?? Hmmm??? Either JK is cheating on Tae with JM and has been for years or JK has never been Tae’s boyfriend!! I’d bet on the latter considering Tae’s jovial expression when admitting to the fact he never knows where JK’s room is!

JM wouldn’t be joining Tae because JK wouldn’t let him. UM? What? Jungkook...the maknae, the member with the least amount of seniority is keeping JM, his hyung from hanging out with him on vlive? I don’t think people understand enough how much Tae exposed them here! And that smirk...he knew what he was doing!

It’s not just oh Jimin can’t come because he’s hanging out with JK...it’s no JM can’t come because JK won’t allow him! Let that sit with you for a second! “JK is stopping Jimin from coming!” Tae is strongly insinuating that Jikook’s power structure is outside the normal hyung dongsaeng dynamic.  Tae straight up destroyed any theory that he’s dating JK by exposing Jikook’s relational dynamics. The boy is chaotic!

Again with exhibit B we have Tae exposing Jimin’s whereabouts and why he’s not with him. It seems like Tae is quite salty about getting left at the alter and JM always running off to be with JK?!/!?! Don’t believe me....look below!

It seems like he is itching to tell us why Jimin didn’t join him but this time chose not to say it aloud but definitely hints at...that smirk can only mean it’s something spicy.

I mean this boy is chaos itself! and We may be like...what the hell happened to this Tae? The Tae that loved debunking his own ship and exposing Jikook!.! 

My response to that is I don’t doubt that Tae still exist seeing that the above photo is recent...he may be  chaotic and irking peoples nerves right now but he really has done a lot to show the world that him and JK are nothing but friends! He has directly debunked tkkers and indirectly debunked them SOOO MANY TIMES! The only way they’d believe him is if photos were leaked of him with someone else....wait! That already happened and they still don’t believe him... I guess now the only thing he can do is come out with it and say he’s dating Jennie...and hell he might! AFTER his album comes out there might be an announcement!?

Jimin, Serendipity, and Me

I’ve been wanting to make this post for a while. I had to wait until all the dust settled from MS and I could type this without crying. It’s no secret that Jimin is very special to me, which sounds silly to say because I don’t actually know him in real life, but I feel connected to him. Hear me out.

Even after all of the amazing solo songs that Jimin has gifted us, Serendipity is still my favorite. Between the concept of serendipity itself, the sweet meaningful lyrics, Jimin’s delicate angelic vocals, the lofi production, and last but not least, the choreography, I can’t imagine Jimin releasing a song that I like more. Well, he’s Park Jimin so obviously he could, but I don’t think I’ll have the same emotional connection to it let’s just say.

Now the concept of Serendipity is also meaningful to me. The dictionary definition is as follows: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

So how do Jimin and Serendipity connect with me? Let me explain.

For many of us, Jimin is our comfort person. I personally do not have a partner (not a pity party I don’t want to date anyone) but I do have close friends. And I have Jimin. So, when Jimin went off to MS, I knew I would lose those moments of Serendipty where he would surprise me with his goregous presence and soothing voice when I needed him. I’m talking about Weverse Lives here and formerly Vlives. We know in Jimin’s case that lives are planned and not at all spontaneous like Jungkook. And, we know last year these were few and far between. He’s usually at Hybe or in the car coming to and from work, so when these lives lined up with big moments in my life, it was true serendipity.

1. My “big girl” job interview. When I interviewed for a faculty position (current place of employment), I was extremely nervous. I was still in graduate school, hadn’t defended by PhD yet and had no idea what to expect. I woke up really early and when I started doing my make up, I got the notification on my phone that Jimin went live. It was a much needed confidence boost and what timing.

2. My actual PhD defense. A few months later, the same thing happened again. Morning of my PhD defense I was awake super early and putting my make up on and Jimin went live and I watched and listened to him talk the entire time I got ready. This was so hard to write but I tried my best. In all honesty the best thing to do would have been to get the reader to help Chan get a therapist but after previous dealings idk how much I trust therapists in Korea. If you are struggling, healing is hard and takes time, take all the time you need and try your best to heal in healthy way.

“Come here ye?” Immediately at those words your false face of composure crumpled up and you dived into Chan’s arms. He gently patted the back of your head as you sobbed into his shoulder. Your loud cries almost echoed in the otherwise silent studio. Chan was silent but you felt the little tremors that indicated he was also crying. As the tears left you, so did your energy and soon enough your loud cries became soft hiccups muffled by the wet fabric of Chan’s hoodie.

When you first heard the news you didn’t believe it. You didn’t know him personally but you had greeted each other a couple times before. You remembered the shy smile he gave you before he and his band mates were whisked away by their manager. They were bickering and laughing about something that you couldn’t quite make out. You were once again hit with the reminder that you would never know what someone was going through just by looking at them.

“How are the boys handling it?” You asked as you pulled slightly away from Chan to look him in the face. You gently wiped at the tears on his face with your sleeve. 

“They’re all together right now comforting each other and I’m having them check in every hour. I already got management to cancel our next few schedules so everyone has time to process and mourn.” Chan choked a little at the word ‘mourn’ and you felt your heart clench painfully.

“How are you handling it?” You asked as you reached for his hands to take them in your own.

“I’m not sure, I think I’m still in shock? How… can he … just be gone?” For the first time in your life you saw Chan look utterly lost and you squeezed his hands.

“Why were you still alone in the studio Channie?” You had thought Chan would have made his way back to the dorm to be with the boys when you called, you didn’t expect him to say that he was still in Chan’s Room all alone. 

“I was here when I heard the news and then I guess I’ve been busy calling the boys and calling our managers and…”

“You haven’t had a moment for yourself to process things yet?”

“I didn’t want to go back to the dorm before I figured out how to be there for the boys and be strong.”

“Oh Channie,” you wrapped your arms around him and pulled him in the strongest hug you could muster. “You don’t always have to be strong, it’s so hard to be strong about losing someone.”

It is,” Chan whispered as you felt his arms wrapped around you. “It’s not fair,” he said ever so faintly.

“It’s not,” you agreed. It wasn’t fair that someone so young and bright was no longer someone that you both could ever meet again. Chan’s shoulders shook more and you held him tightly in your grasp scared that any moment he might slip away. 

“I wish there was something I could have done, something I could have said.”

You understood how Chan felt, those were the same feelings you felt when you lost someone close to you. The fear and guilt that stemmed from wishing you could have changed things so that they would still be here with you. There was nothing you or Chan could do to change what had already happened and you understood how soul crushing that was.

You held Chan as he cried himself to sleep and you gently positioned him so he laid somewhat comfortably on the sofa. You wiped the remaining tears on his sleeping face and just sat on the floor watching how his chest rose and fell with each breath. 

Your phone vibrated in your pocket and you took it out to see Han calling you.

“Hello?” You answered softly, careful not to wake Chan.

“Noona? Are you with Chan Hyung right now?” Han asked and you could hear from how  hoarse his voice was that he had been crying.

“Yeah, he’s taking a little nap right now, when he wakes up I’ll take him back to the dorm.”

“Okay that’s good, we wanted him to come back as soon as the news broke but… we knew he needed time to… process,” Han said and you could almost picture him shaking his head. “Is he okay?” 

“Everything is still a little raw but I’m with him,” you didn’t want to just say that he was okay and trivialize the pain that he was feeling. “How are you guys doing?” 

“A lot of crying, bring some packs of tissues when you come over because we’re running out. But we… are a bit lost, a bit confused and just majorly sad I guess.”

“It’s hard to process but remember you guys need to take care of yourselves.”

“Yeah we know, Minho Hyung is already ordering the others around to help him make soup. Take care of Chan Hyung.”

“Of course.” 

“When does it start to feel real?” Chan asked suddenly as you were driving him back to the dorms.

“Sometimes it never does, like there are still times where I think that maybe it was just a horrible prank and at any moment he’s going to show up at my studio to work on a song together. Other times it’s too real, so real that I don’t know what to do with myself. The emptiness never quite gets filled.” You and Chan knew that you didn’t always  handle the pain and sadness you felt in the healthiest way but you wanted nothing more than to help Chan with his pain. “A lot of times I remind myself that even if he isn’t physically here, the memories of him will forever be with me.” 

“It hurts to even think about… anything.”

“I know and for a lot of people the pain doesn’t lessen, you just kinda grow numb to it. I don’t believe time heals all wounds but it does help dull the pain.” You placed your hand on his knee and gave it a squeeze. The rest of the drive was silent, you glanced at Chan every once in a while to see him simply staring into space. 

“Channie I know you love your fans but I swear to fucking god that I’m going to punch the one that asked you that right in the fucking face.” You were seething in anger as you pulled Chan into your chest, the two of you lying on his bed. You had watched him go live for Chan’s Room from a corner of his actual room, out of view of the camera. Things went really well until you heard Chan read out the question “were guys close?”

“I guess I never really mentioned it so they didn’t know,” Chan mumbled into the fabric of your hoodie.

“They had no right asking that and you had no need to justify your sadness,” you tried to hold yourself back but you could feel the angry tears slide down your face. 

“Baby why are you crying?” Chan asked as he slid up so his face was next to yours and he pressed his forehead into yours.

“Because you won’t cry for yourself, you carry the weight of the world and everything unfair on your shoulders like you think you need to and that you deserve to. You don’t Channie, you don’t,” you turned around because you knew that if you kept looking at him you would fully break down. You felt his arms encircle your waist and faintest kiss on the back of your neck. “If you apologize because I’m crying right now I will punch you in the face along with that fan,” you lightly threatened through your sniffles.

“You know me so well, what did I do to deserve you in my life,” Chan spoke quietly with a soft chuckle at your threat.

“You did nothing but exist and that was enough to draw me to you.”

“I love you,” he said as he gave you a soft squeeze.

“I love you too.”

“It really doesn’t get easier,” he said suddenly as the two of you were in the studio trying to workshop a song for the next stray kids album. The melody was soft and almost nostalgic in a way you didn’t know how to describe in words.

“It doesn’t,” you agreed, knowing what he meant.

 You wished that he had more time to himself to work out his emotions and to just be sad but he didn’t. The boys had their comeback and they were already trying to put together another album. They could only push back and cancel so few things before the company and some of the boys got anxious about timing. They were at the height of their careers and nobody on the team wanted to take too much of a break in fear of that height sliding down. There was only so much you could do or say to convince Chan of anything otherwise so you spent your days just by his side. Making sure he ate his meals and at least put his phone away at a sorta healthy hour to try and get some sleep. Sleep didn’t come easy to either of you but at least the two of you could cuddle and talk about nothing and everything all at once.

“It hurts less but it still hurts,” he sighed as he closed his laptop and leaned back in his chair.

“Take all the time in the world you need Channie, as long as you’re not hurting yourself or others then there’s no wrong or right length of time it takes to heal.”

“I wish one day I would wake up and it just stops hurting,” Chan said as he leaned his head against your shoulder.

“I can’t promise that, but I can promise that one day you’re going to be able to remember their smile and the happier memories more clearly than the painful ones,” you turned to give him a quick kiss on the head as you felt his body relax into your shoulder.

“I really hope so.”

While this was so nice of jungkook i think we shouldn't exaggerate it like this much? What i mean is taehyung was crying really hard like really hard. I remember a staff member saying that taehyung was practically shaking when they were going from backstage and of course jungkook's insticts would be like to comfort your close ones when you see him crying like that.

Well, it's pretty well-known JK has always had problems expressing emotions towards other people, including Jimin. Remember Jimin actually devoted a 10 minute Vlive to complain about JK being unable to show any emotions at all when he was with him. 10 full minutes ranting about that!! That's what actually made people think Jk was "breaking character" while hugging Tae here.

And it's not the first time he eats when a major crisis, that's true. Remember the Taejin fight and how after their performance Jimin was all focused into his healing speech and overall trying to patch things up , and there was JK eating his dinner right there next to Tae as if it's nothing was happening. I guess a man built like him needs to eat first before doing anything else.

And yes, it's quite disrespectful, he must be really hungry those time I guess and actually I can see this lack of regard as a source of dispute among hyung members.

Anyway that doesn't mean he doesn't care about Tae, but that he prefers others namely Jimin to do the healing thing, as it's in Jimin's nature to do that.

I personally did not get any satisfaction nor joy from JK’s Jimin shenanigans in his vlive BUT I do enjoy seeing Tkkers seething mad again, crying fanservice and how JK was forced to “promote” Jimin’s music.
