open starter for w/nb muses plot: our muses went to high school together & hated each other, it's been years and they've both changed quite a bit. your muse is a journalist secretly writing a hit piece on his father and just witnessed the way he treats ronan. cue the team up + the feelings.

"did you enjoy that?" the question didn't drip with malice as it should have. ronan couldn't manage the rage and cruelty of his younger years as easily. he'd been working so hard to let it go and he supposed that was the consequence, it couldn't be his shield and he was left to the numb feeling of being cursed out by his old man. when he'd heard the door open again behind him after he fled the party, he hadn't expected it to be them that followed, but he supposed he was owed a little bit of humiliation for the menace he'd once been. his fingers toyed with the bottom of his suit jacket, eyes trained on the ground as he clenched his jaw. "suppose you can see where i learned all that shit from now."
