RM Void AU Scenario: Playing Mario Party 9

Choosing Characters

Kaeya would choose Wario because he’s his childhood hero. (kaeya had loved the warioware franchise since the release of warioware: touched!)

Aikotoba would choose either Peach or Daisy. (most commonly Daisy, because she’s iconic) (in later games, tobee is a Rosalina main, but that’s for a different scenario *wink wink*)

Monster tends to have no consistent main for Mario Party. So, he’s practically a different character each time.

Void would be Waluigi since that’s one of his favorite characters ironically. He also tends to be Kamek from time to time.

Playing Techniques

Void would totally fuck around and try to land the others on unlucky spaces and make them lose their mini stars. He also is the kind to beg Kaeya to be Player 1, just so he can skip the instructions so everyone else has no fucking clue how to play. (that doesn’t work on kaeya tho, since he’s played this game for a long time) Somehow, he has godly dice block luck. He is probably the kind of guy to hardly do damage to the bosses in the first half, then turns into a fucking killing machine in the second half. He also almost always gets the last hit bonus on said bosses, as well.

Kaeya tends to take forever for his turn to finish, since he’s constantly trying to come up with a good strategy to land on good spaces and how to prepare for future spaces. In the end, he just tends to land on unlucky spaces anyways. He also has a really weird, yet smart way of playing mini games. Like for example, he tends to go for the lowest amount of points in certain minigames, since he knows that Void, Monster, and AiKotoba will all be fighting for the highest amount of points. He also tends to get a decent amount of bonus stats at the end of the game.

AiKotoba hardly uses their special dice blocks, and just tries to speedrun their turn, not even caring for what they lands on, since they knows that the mini stars that they loses will be quickly recovered in the next few minigames. They also tends to team up with Monster, even when Monster has a higher advantage than them. They also tend to target Void in most minigames, since Void tends to easily win the minigames. (and also because AiKotoba may have a little bit of a personal grudge against void.) Aikotoba is also AWFUL at fighting the bosses. They also have god awful rng.

Monster is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to Mario Party. Gets at the very least 3rd place on all minigames, gets a really good amount of mini stars almost each turn, good at beating up the bosses, and gets at least one amount of bonus stars at the end of the game. NEVER gets mini ztars. (which are basically the opposite of mini stars, which increase your score) It’s almost as if they are scared of him. Also, if Monster is the one going solo on the 1 vs 3 minigames, WATCH. THE FUCK. OUT. This guy will practically beat your ass in the blink of an eye at them.

Favorite Modes in the Minigames Section

Kaeya’s favorite mode would probably be Choice Challenge. Not only does he enjoy the process and idea behind it, it also allows for more strategizing on choosing minigames.

Aikotoba LOVES Garden Battle, and there is no denying this. They adore the garden aesthetic since they love anything plant-related, but the mode itself is also incredibly fun to play.

Void would like both Boss Rush and High Rollers. Since Void is good at fighting bosses, of course he would adore the Boss Rush mode. As for the High Rollers mode, he has no idea. He just enjoys the mechanics in it.

Monster’s favorite mode is Step It Up. Remember earlier how I mentioned that Monster is a beast at 1 vs. 3 minigames? Well, in Step It Up, there is the option to play 1 vs 3 games, so Monster adores this mode the most.
