Hey more moře
(22.9.) A máme tu další cestu!
Takže když už bych šel přes security, zkouším znova checkin a lup ho, kuny, teď už to nejde!
Tumblr media
Teda, jde udělat check-in, ale už si nejde nechat přidělit náhodný sedadlo, lze si jen zaplatit. Uf.
Přes uličku sedí pár s malým děckem, kterýmu dokonce dají certifikát Vuelingu “My First Flight” pro prcka a jeho jméno tam i letuška napíše.
Vy s novýma notebookama to asi znáte, no já jsem z toho furt paf.
Matěj odepisuje “to se mi taky libi more” no a už jsme rozjeli cikánský slang, viď. Když doletím do Nantes i já, Matěj mě vítá a už je připraven, to jsou body plus!
Tumblr media
Hey, more, moře!
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Kromě cvičení nás tu zaujaly i intenzivní vůně rostlinek, to jsme nečekali, jedna z nich byl prý břečťan. Nakonec dojdeme až k pláži, prima zastávka po cestě, svačinka, čerstvej atlantickej vítr, můj živel!
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Pokojík super, je tu i kuchyňka a balkon, to má Matěj další body plus. Já si dávám k večeři sendviče z letiště, Matěj si chce ohřát těstoviny, leč boj s bretaňskou mikrovlnkou prohrává 0:1.
Tumblr media
Těstoviny byly prý dobrý i studený…

Etc., etc.

Share Item Location AirTag & Find My Network in iOS 18.2
Tumblr media
Share Item Location AirTag
In beta with iOS 18.2, users can share a secure link to an AirTag or Find My network accessory’s location with others and airlines.
A new iOS feature called Share Item Location was unveiled by Apple. It allows customers to simply and securely share the location of an AirTag or Find My network accessory with third parties, including airlines, to help them find and retrieve missing items.
In most parts of the world, Share Item Location is currently accessible as part of the public beta of iOS 18.2, which will soon be made available to all users as a free software upgrade for iPhone Xs and later. Safety and privacy are at the heart of Find My. Once a user is reunited with their item, the shared location will be disabled. The owner can stop it at any time, and it will automatically expire after seven days.
According to Eddy Cue, senior vice president of services at Apple, “Find My is a crucial tool for users worldwide to track and find their belongings.” Users have found that the Find My network and AirTag work well together when traveling, giving them crucial location data in the event that their luggage are misplaced or handled improperly. We’re thrilled to offer consumers a new, private method of freely sharing this data with outside parties, such as airlines, using Share Item Location Find My.
Using the Find My app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, users can create a Share Item Location. When a link is sent, the recipient can access a website that displays the item’s position on an interactive map. The website will display the timestamp of the most recent update and automatically update whenever a new location becomes available.
Aer Lingus, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Austrian, British, Brussels, Delta, Eurowings, Iberia, KLM Dutch Airlines, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore, Swiss,, Turkish Airlines, United, Virgin Atlantic, and Vueling are among the more than 15 airlines that will make Find My item locations a part of their customer service procedure in the upcoming months. These airlines serve millions of passengers worldwide. With time, more airlines will be included.
Taking use of the hundreds of millions of Apple devices that many airlines currently use, Apple has worked closely with partner airlines to set up systems to covertly and securely accept Share Item Location. Each link will only be accessible to a select few, and recipients will need to verify using their partner email address or Apple Account to view the link.
“To integrate Share Item Location into its baggage recovery process, they have collaborated closely with Apple and are eager to make this feature accessible to customers shortly, “United CCO David Kinzelman said.
Since many customers already have AirTag in their checked bags, Apple is aware that this feature will soon make it simpler for them to securely and safely share location data with us, which will improve customer service agent productivity and provide its customers with additional peace of mind. Apple wants to launch the service systemwide in early 2025 after first accepting Find My Item locations in a few airports.
Share Item Location will also be integrated into WorldTracer, the baggage-tracing system utilized by more than 500 airlines and ground handlers at more than 2,800 airports worldwide, by SITA, a pioneer in air transport technology.
“As the top supplier of end-to-end baggage management solutions, apple confront significant difficulties as airports and airlines throughout the world prepare to double their passenger volume by 2040.
The Find My network a crowdsourced network of more than one billion Apple devices is the foundation of Share Item Location. It uses Bluetooth wireless technology to identify nearby missing gadgets or things and let the owner know where they are roughly located. No one else can see a device’s location or data because the entire process is anonymous and end-to-end encrypted, including Apple and Find My Network accessory manufacturers.
AirTags Price
When bought straight from Apple, AirTags cost $29 each unit or $99 per four-pack. Prices are often discounted, especially during sales. Amazon recently sold a four-pack of AirTags for $70, a $30 discount. Walmart and other retailers often offer AirTags in seasonal specials, lowering the price of a four-pack to $70 during sales.

Manchester to Barcelona
A day of travel. An early train trip to Manchester Airport to catch my Vueling flight to Barcelona.
Terminal 3 at Manchester was busy as but the check in with Vueling was very smooth. The flight was just over 2 hours and i was fortunate to have a spare seat next to me. Vueling is good in that if you pay for luggage rather than carry on ,you also get priority seatng & priority boarding - maybe something Virgin andJetstar could copy.
I managed to negotiate finding the train from the airport ( there was a 10 minute shuttle bus ride between the terminals) and then find my way to my hotel. WhenI am travelling on my own I try to stay in hotels close to transport hubs. The only problem is often finding which station exit to take , particularly in Japan but this one had signs in the station.
After checking in and waiting out a thunderstorm , I had a walk around the area and found a supermarket for supplies e.g. wine (with a cork!) .
After dinner at a local tapas bar I returned to the hotel to watch Paralympics. Interesting with Spanish commentary and such a relief from having to listen to "Paralympics GB" ommentary.
Tomorrow is a full on day of sightseeing

How to Get an Satisfying Price through Vueling Discount Codes?
Table of Contents
1. How to Acquire Vueling Coupon Codes?
2. What’s Vueling Discount for Large Families?
3.How about Vueling Discount for Residents?
4. Do Vueling Have Payment Options?
5.What is Known about the Exchange of Vueling Booking?
Vueling is always friendly as an airline company, humbly believing that they have many things to improve in their quality of products and customer service. Vueling is fond of describing their trait from several keywords. Take efficiency, for example,  it’s indeed a strong drive for them to head for a better-developed company. Efficiency bulks large in its operating principles. What’s more, they always regard the real needs of their customers as their first thing to solve with a quick response and considerate treatment. Customers are always their priority, and that’s the reason why they offer customers the best prices when people choose to order their routes. What people can get from them is the convenience to fly to more than 130 countries around the world and the avoidance of long transfers across countries. If you want to order their routes, just visit their website. They have many ways to offer you the most satisfying price that you are willing to accept. They have Vueling discount codes which can help you get discounts on your flights and you even can fly for free!
1. How to Acquire Vueling Coupon Codes?
There is no doubt that all worldwide customers lust for the most appropriate price that can buy and get their long-desired products. Of course, you also can have the chance to get a discount on their products and have a delightful experience. What you can find out to discount on your favorite routes is the coupons that can make yourself satisfied. Two fundamental means to get their coupons are respectively that entering their official website and coming to couponawk.com. The whole process to get coupons are easy to learn and operate so you don’t need to worry about that. On their official website, you can tick the Discount Box situated on the position of the main search too. But actually the couponawk.com is the most recommended and valuable choice for you to get to know their corresponding coupons and related refreshed news. You will have an overview of various choices. The only thing you need to do is searching the store’s name at couponawk.com and then you will find what you are looking for.
2. What’s Vueling Discount for Large Families?
You can get the chance to enjoy the discount within domestic flights if you have a large family. According to their related regulation and policy, general large families can get a 5% discount while special large families 10%. When you search for one flight that you have to choose you can select the option showing “Large Family”. There is one thing that you must do on the day of your flight that you have to make your documents proving that you belong to a large family be checked by their staff. You can choose to be checked at the check-in desk or the boarding gate. One point that you all need to know is that the discount for large families doesn’t go for the flights which are already completed. If you cannot show telling certificate or documents to confirm that you come from a large family you will be deprived of the right to enjoy the discount, which connotes that you have to smooth over the difference between the original price and the discount price.  Furthermore, the large family discount is merely used with Spanish territory.
3.How about Vueling Discount for Residents?
The range of entitlement to the discount for residents is wide. If you are Spanish citizens, citizens from other EU member countries, from Switzerland, from other states which signed the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and the people being third-country nationals, are given the right to be permanently and long-term residents and so on. The passengers who reside in Ceuta, the Canary Islands, Melilla and the Balearic Islands can enjoy the discount when they plan to order the flight to Spanish mainland or inter-land whether they choose one-way or round-trip direct way. What is worth paying attention to this kind of discount is that it doesn’t apply to the sums which need passengers to overcharge like excess baggage, seat selection, etc. When passengers are booking the tickets for the flights they must show their proof to confirm their resident status.
4. Do Vueling Have Payment Options?
The payment for the tickets of all kinds of flights can be made through bank transfer or PayPal. You can use a credit or debit card to accomplish that. And if you need to pay for additional services when your booking is made, such as the change of flight, you have to pay for that by card. A variety of payment means can be used on their website and their own mobile app. For example, Google Pay and  Apple Pay. You also can use cash at their sales desks at the airport and if you book tickets through a travel agency cash is also can be used.
5.What is Known about the Exchange of Vueling Booking?
If you want to go through flight changes or correct the error of name, you can do that within 24 hours without any penalty since the booking was issued. You can also change the date or time of your flight if you always follow the related provisions. But you have to pay off the difference between the original flight ticket price and the new one. What bulks large about the supplement is that if the new flight price is lower than the original one, the difference need not be refunded. What’s more, the ticket holder’s name cannot be different from the original ones. Date, time, and passenger, no matter which one you will change, should be made at least 2 hours before leaving. Of course, changes can also be made at the airport Sales Desk at least 40 minutes before departure.
Vueling always offers its customers a great experience and high-quality service. They have many routes for you to choose from. No matter where you are, no matter which kind of flight you will choose, you will get their best attention and care. Besides, Vueling discount codes can really make you get the most appropriate price. You will have many ways to choose to get the discount. Getting promo codes and coupons from couponawk.com is definitely one of the best ways.  They deserve your recognition and attention.

Tumblr media
Cuándo Realizar el Check-In Online

Pompeii to Naples to Rome to FCO to Dubrovnik
We awoke the next morning and Becca and Matt decided to take advantage of the relatively flat and pedestrian friendly terrain (ie 80% had sidewalks and/or bike paths) and go on a longer run. We then packed up and headed out of our place and caught the circumvesuviana train back to Naples for our last time after getting super familiar with it over the last few days. By circumvesuviana standards it was relatively uncrowded (ie half of us got seats) and not too hot (ie only Matt got called out by his daughter for beading sweat off his elbow). In Naples we ended up with about an hour to kill in Naopli centrale before our train to Rome. We spent this purchasing an assortment of very delicious pastries across the street and tasty sandwiches in the food court in the station. Our train to Rome was slightly delayed in departing due to “awaiting approval from the control tower, which we expect shortly”, but otherwise nice/fast/comfortable. In Rome, Matt had purchased tickets to the airport in advance with our eurail passes that required us to connect in Trastevere. We hadn’t gotten the chance to check out Trastevere much due to getting rained out on our previous opportunity the week prior so we decided to try going there earlier than scheduled then get on our airport train at the scheduled time … of course, given we got on the wrong (1 hour earlier than our tickets)  train, this was the first Italian train where there was a ticket inspector in our car. Matt showed her the tickets and after scanning the tickets she told him that the tickets were for a train in one hour, and therefore “no good”, but just shook her head at us and moved along. At Trastevere station Matt realized we were actually about 1 mile south of the “hip” part of Trastevere and we didn’t really feel like walking given we had all our bags, so we headed to a nearby playground to kill time, them headed back to the station and caught our train to FCO. Once at the airport we saw the Vueling check in desk was not yet open so hung out and recombobulated bags/items a bit to get flight ready. When the desk opened we dropped bags and went through the family security line with no issues at all. Matt and the children then stood in line for one more Venchi gelato (the place with the chocolate waterfall we had first tried in Florence) and Becca grabbed a dinner of sandwiches and salad at Eataly. We then let the kids play a bit at the in-airport playground, then headed to our gate. Boarding was delayed a bit but otherwise smooth and we made up for almost all of the delay in the air on a short 50 minute flight from Rome to Dubrovnik and arrived within a few minutes of scheduled landing time. Matt was fired up to poach the L hand side window seat from children and get great views at sunset on landing. We deplaned easily, waited for bags and departed with no customs (thanks to Croatia recently joining the Schengnen area). The kids were impressed to see a guy standing at the airport door with a sign that said “Matt Percy” (we’d arranged a private pickup through our airbnb host due to a late arrival and the airport being a ways out of town). Our driver, Luka, said "let's go" and walked us quickly to the van tossing the sign in the trash before I could snap a pic. En route, he told us several sights we should see including what he claimed was the world’s shortest river and taught us some Croatian language basics (all of which we may have forgotten) on the drive to pass the time. Our aribnb host Luko then met us outside the “bikers bar” and walked us down several sets of stairs to our apartment complex where we checked out the cool views of old town from the edge of our balcony, then unpacked and headed to bed after a long day of travel.

GDPR Compliant Cookie Solution - What it means?
Cookie Law as passed in 2009 got a new enforcement life after GDPR. Court of Justice of the European Union in the Planet49 case ruled that storing cookies required active consent(GDPR standard). Following the judgment Data Protection of Authorities of Ireland, Germany, Spain, and others have started enforcement actions against websites that do not have a GDPR compliant cookie consent banner on their website.
5 steps to create a GDPR compliant cookie consent solution for your website
Give users a notice using a banner or pop-up with clear and comprehensive information on the use & purposes of cookies. Ensure you add a link to your cookie policy or privacy policy in the notice
Set the cookies only when the user has given consent for cookies
Give users an option to Accept and Reject cookies
Create a second layer where users can give consent to each purpose of cookies separately
Create a permanent link or button for users to withdraw cookie consent. This should be placed on your home page or privacy policy page.
On implementing the above steps, your website should have the following flow for cookie consent:
GDPR Compliant Cookie Consent Banner
Table of Contents
What’s cookie consent
Cookie Consent Banner Design
GDPR Cookie Consent Examples
Cookie Consent Script
Cookie Consent for Google Tag Manager
Cookie Consent for Website Builders
Conclusion
What’s cookie consent
Cookie Consent is the process by which websites take user’s consent to set cookies. It started with Europe’s ePrivacy directive or the cookie law. With ePrivacy, it was mandatory for websites to take consent from users before storing or accessing cookies from user’s devices. However, websites termed consent as showing cookie banners with just an Ok button or implying consent by use of the website. GDPR clearly defines what constitutes as a legal consent and hence now cookie consent has to include an option to deny alongside accept and a method to give consent based on purposes or use of cookies like Targeting, Analytics amongst others.
When is cookie consent needed?
Cookie consent is needed:
If you offer your product or service to EU customers, including a free product or service. For example, media websites like Techcrunch are free services for EU customers
If you are targeting EU customers, this is indicated if you have an EU domain like .eu, .de or you offer local currencies, local language on your website or you are advertising to EU users like an American university advertising for its courses in EU
What happens if you don’t comply with cookie consent?
Users can file a complaint against your company with the Data Protection Authority of your country and this could lead to fines under GDPR. Recently, the Data Protection Authority of Ireland, Germany have started a sweep of websites to check if they comply with cookie consent and will be sending notices soon. Here are some actions are taken for not complying with cookie consent:
Planet 49: CJEU Rules on Cookie Consent
Oracle & Salesforce hit with class action GDPR lawsuit
IKEA was fined 10,000 Euros for cookie consent violations
Vueling Airlines was fined 30,000 Euros for not allowing users to give granular consent
Cookie Consent Banner Design:
A cookie consent banner has the following requirements to make it legal:
Cookie Consent Text: This is also termed as Cookie Consent Notice and is used to inform in a simple, clear language that you use cookies on your website.
Cookie Policy: This is a detailed version of your cookie consent notice explaining why you use cookies, a list of cookies with purposes and a method for users to withdraw consent for cookies
Accept & Deny Buttons: These are options for your users to either accept or deny the cookies. You should ensure that you don’t use dark design patterns to give more weight to Accept over Deny. For you cookie consent to be valid in EU, you have to ensure that for users ease of accepting and denying cookies is same.
Cookie Preferences: This should open up a preference center where users can give granular consent for each purpose. ePrivacy allows websites to set Strictly Essential Cookies without consent so that can always be on, for other purposes like Targeting, Analytics you should allow users to switch them on or off.
Is your website cookie compliant?
Scan your website for cookies and generate a compliance report
GDPR Cookie Consent Examples
Cookie Consent is the first interaction that users will have on your website, you should ensure that it is styled according to your website. Smashing Magazines list some ways to create user-friendly cookie consent banners. Some examples we liked and you can take inspiration from:
Techcrunch does a good job with the cookie consent notice. They explain to the users that they are using cookies, explains the use of the cookies, and also links to both privacy and cookie policy. However, they don’t have an option to Reject cookies and thus not a great experience for users who want to reject the use of cookies.
GDPR Cookie Consent Example: Techcrunch
AirBnB gives a preference center for users to give consent on each purpose separately. Here they have clearly defined Performance as one of the purpose explaining the use of cookies. Also, they allow users to switch off cookies for this purpose completely or switch off each cookie individually. In our opinion, consent for each cookie is overkill for users and you should be good with just giving a purpose level option to users.
GDPR Cookie Consent Example: AirBnB
Asos’s cookie banner is well styled but does not give option to users to reject or change cookie settings. This is something we would not recommend.
GDPR Cookie Consent Example: Asos
Webflow gives a nice banner at the bottom but does not give option to the user to accept or reject cookies. You can change your preferences, it would have been much better if we had the buttons on the banner itself.
GDPR Cookie Consent Example: Webflow
Cookie Consent Script
Cookie consent script blocks and unblocks cookies based on the user’s consent. It ensures websites comply with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR. There are two ways in which the script can function:
Manually block cookies:
Change the class of each script that is setting a script from </type = javascript to </type=text & class = website-category>
The class value will allow you to handle granular cookie consent
Once the user gives you consent, change these scripts to type = javascript and execute them
One of the problems with the manual method is it takes a lot of time and you can miss some scripts which will make your website non-compliant.
Automatically block cookies:
Scans the website for cookies and allows you to categorize them into different categories
Automatically blocks the scripts and unblocks them once the user gives cookie consent
Sign-up to Privado and automatically block cookies with our cookie consent script.
Cookie Consent for Google Tag Manager
Your cookie consent solution should also ensure cookies set via tags from Google Tag Manager are blocked until the user gives consent. Here is how you can you use our cookie consent solution to do that:
Download the container from our dashboard
Import the container to your GTM, it will add the triggers to block and allow tags in your GTM account. Some examples are Allow Analytics, Block Analytics
You can either use the Allow triggers to fire these tags or use the Block triggers and add as an exception for your tags
Go to preview and your tags should only be fired once the user gives consent
Cookie Consent for Website Builders
We offer integration with the following third-party website builder tools to seamlessly display a cookie consent banner:
Conclusion
Cookie Consent seems simple on the outside but involves you to set the right cookie banner, blocking cookies, tags, pixels with the help of a script, and allowing users to change cookie consent from your home page or cookie policy. This guide will help you with setting all these elements for your website.
You can also use this free cookie consent tool and make your website compliant with privacy laws across the world including GDPR.
