Der neue Golf GTE im Kurztest | Lausbube mit Heiligenschein?

Mit dem neuen - 240 PS starken - Golf GTE hat Volkswagen einen ordentlichen Spagat gefunden denen der GTI zu durstig und der GTD zu unsicher ist. Der Plugin-Hybrid begeistert mit ordentlich Schub und geizt dabei gleichzeitig mit dem Sprit-Konsum.  Was dem GTI das Rot ist bei dem GTE das blau. Soll heißen der Volkswagen Golf GTE differenziert sich optisch nicht wirklich vom GTI mit der Ausnahme, dass hier alle roten Elemente nun blau erscheinen was wiederum die VW-Farbe für E-Mobilität ist. Die Front ist weiterhin scharf geschnitten, die Seitenlinie wirkt etwas nüchtern- wird aber durch die optionalen 18 Zöller nochmal deutlich aufgewertet. Das Heck schließt dafür wieder gelungen ab, auch wenn die Fake-Endrohre irgendwie ein wenig "Meh" sind.  Auch der Innenraum offenbart keine wirklichen Überraschungen. Das Platzangebot ist für ein Auto dieser Klasse mehr als ausreichend, die Verarbeitung natürlich auf einem hohen Level. Doch merke ich langsam, dass ich kein Freund vom weglassen haptischer Druckpunkte werde. Während sich das 10-Zoll große Touchscreen tatsächlich sehr flott und fast Handylike bedienen lässt sind es die fehlenden Knöpfe, die immer wieder dafür sorgen, dass der Blick zu lange von der Straße verloren geht bis man die benötigte Touchfläche gefunden hat. Dies setzt sich tatsächlich bis zu den extrem empfindlichen Lenkradtasten fort die bei flotter Fahrt Kurvenfahrt oftmals ungewollter Berührungs- und somit Aktivierungspunkt sind.
