tbh it was really difficult to find anyone in this arc actually having a great time, these are really just different levels of terrible time

Well, I do not know how to explain it.

And, yes, this is Solas in Nerisa's costume from W.I.T.C.H. The fact is that in the Russian localization of DA and W.I.T.C.H. the words "Veilguard" and "Guardians" are translated approximately the same way. Hence the idea to draw Solas in striped tights.

We had the revelation of who the ruler really is, and is behind the actions of the Kandrakar council. Empress Charu.

After the Guardians' victory, Kandrakar's wraiths are destroyed for their failure.

Nerissa, Phobos, cedric, yua, ludmoore dark Mother, nihila and all of Kandrakar's enemies must be celebrating right now.
