In the Kaijudo X Trollhunters Crossover, is Strickler a threat to Team Kaijudo like he us fir Jim in Part 2 of season 1?
Nope. Strickler is restricted to operating Arcadia as Bular's wasn't taken so well by the Janus Order. Some of his coworkers would become hostile if he tries to mess around with Kaijudo users. They believe Strickler will only makes things even worse by attempting to add more enemies on their plate.
Plus letting the Kaijudo users and the Choten take each other out is less of a hassle. Strickler will interfere if Team Kaijudo snoop to close to Arcadia. He make do with limited options.
There may be something there that wasn’t there before
FINALLY I have art of these two and Stricklake Month seemed like the perfect time to post! I know technically week one is myth, and this is more of a fairytale…but it originated from a myth so close enough! They just fit a Beauty and the Beast au so well 💚🩵
I made something new! A trollhunters version of Edward Hoppers famous painting 'nighthawks' - featuring our beloved disaster changeling troupe and also lots of creepy things lurking in the night...
I finished it and man, I am exhausted. But here it is:
So it is just a short little animation kind of thing. It shows Barbara reading an old Book about Trolls and Changelings and finding a depicted of Walter...In a different way...
My link to the written Story for it.
It took me SO long to do all of that. Anyways, ig you wanna see a little more of creepy Troll Walt then let me know. I would enjoy writting my thoughts and process to his new form. Well anyways, closeup:
Yes I did wrote all of that on trollish...until I gave up. Translation:
Hello to all fellow Stricklake fans!! Once again it's time to get excited for Stricklake month this August! This year I will be hosting the upcoming month long event, and I hope by releasing the prompts a month in advance like last year, it gives all of you who are interested in participating this year time to prepare!
The event will start 1st of August, and finish on the 31st of August. Our prompts this year are as follows:
For those new to Stricklake month, all mediums are welcome as long as the focus remains on the relationship Barbara Lake/Walter Strickler and you are welcome to fill in as many or little prompts as you like, from any of the weeks. There's no obligation to do all!
Make sure to tag your entries with #keenswimmers2024! This helps to ensure everyone can find Stricklake month content for this year and also helps me with roundup posts at the end of each week.
If you can, please spread the word by reblogging this post and support fellow fan creators during the event in August with reblogs and comments! ❤️💚
Special thanks are also in order for @rexnanorum and @seekerofblades for the absolutely fantastic graphics above, as well as for the headers for each week. I owe them full credit for bringing this year's Stricklake month to life!
Thanks also to @megan0013 and @toodrasticallydumb for helping me come up with prompts, otherwise I don't think I could have done this alone! 😅
Tagging: @whitherwanderyouspirit, @joethehoeee, @ollie-alooffloof, @albentelisa and @lexel05 since I think this might interest you, as well as any other Stricklake fans out there!
Very late on this prompt for Stricklake Month - Sun/Moon
Walter under the sun, Stricklander under the moon, and Barbara always tethering the rift. <3
I had no time at all to draw last week, but it was a good kind of busy. :] I decided I'd try to see the challenge to the end anyways, even if my last drawings will be late. I've got lineart for this week's prompts, so hopefully I can get that done soonish!
For this one, I did sketch + lines on Procreate, and all coloring on Clip Studio Paint - - I was very lazy when it came to drawing thighs, but also unwilling to crop them out :^)
My entry for Stricklake month; Week One: (August 1-6) Myth/Technology.
During a travel in Ireland, Strickler took a walk towards the sea and surprisingly found a selkie, a creature from Celtic mythology. He was completely in awe at the sight of how beautiful the selkie is and reached out to touch her. He found out the selkie's name is Barbara after talking to her for a while and started to fall in love with her. Strickler wanted to have Barbara as his wife, but it was hard since she lived in the sea and he struggled to make a choice;
Should he steal Barbara's seal skin off of her which will cause her to turn into a human woman so that she could live with him on land? Or should he not steal her skin and respectfully allow her to live freely in the sea?
