WarmCore - All of this and so much more
The above graphic was lifted straight from our WarmCore Homes site and shows the range of products we offer under this banner, in the simplest of terms if you are having an opening in any wall in your home, we have a product to fill it. Over the last couple of years Aluminium has seen a huge resurgence in the fenestration market with the introduction of UPVC core elements within the profile and the use of enhanced double or triple glazing, the thermal insulation has been massively improved, plus the technical advances in powder costing have opened up a whole new colour range for those with more exotic of taste. The WarmCore range is not without competition but we believe that it is one of the most engineeringly sophisticated and stylish of the products currently available representing excellent value for money, particularly as we install nationally and we are not restricted to specific geographical areas of installation.
The majority of our customers are attracted by our Bi Fold doors a product whose reputation is continually growing with every new sale and the subsequent customer referrals arising from each of these transactions – and we frequently find that customers are so pleased with their Bi Fold that they return to purchase their French Doors or windows when their individual need arises.
Further down the opening page of our website we actively encourage our customers to consider purchasing all of their fenestration needs from ourselves with the use of the following graphics.
Tumblr media
The number of customers who are taking advantage of using our services for provision of all of the ir fenestration needs is most definitely on the increase, but we are equally aware, because it is one of our most frequently asked questions, that the cost of replacing all units with the WarmCore range can be expensive.
Question – We would like to purchase all our doors and windows from yourselves but our budget will not stretch that far.
Answer – WarmCore is part of the GFD Group of Companies and we have a group company that specialises in whatever your requirements may be – UPVC Bi- folds, UPVC windows, Composite Doors, Lantern Lights, Rooflights etc
We would normally continue by referring hem to the appropriate group company website.
If you would like to place the fenestration fitting out of your home or extension with one company here at the GFD Group we are more than happy to mix and match our various product ranges to accommodate our individual customer requirements to check out the products we can offer take a look at –
Timber Composite Doors, Global Door, Composite Door prices, andBi-Fold Door Prices for all of your fenestration needs and
Eurosecure  for all of your domestic security needs With our nationwide installation service applying to all Group companies, plus 0% Finance available to customers who meet the qualifying requirements why would you not take up the GFD Group offer to supply all of your fenestration needs

WarmCore by name – WarmCore by design
WarmCore by name – WarmCore by design
The Warmcore profile – the one with the super-efficient orange multi chamber thermally efficient core encased in the ultra-sophisticated slim line aluminium outer casing is starting to revolutionise the way we think about doors, windows and particularly Bi-Fold doors. It looks good, it works brilliantly and when combined with either “A” rated double glazing or if required triple glazing it produces some of the best thermal efficiency performance figures available for domestic doors or windows.
Here at WarmCore Homes we take great pride in the fact that we are retailers of this tremendous profile, so much so that we branded our on-line sales outlet for the products we retail manufactured with it, with the same name – WarmCore Homes sell doors, windows and Bi-Fold doors manufactured with the warmcore profile – a fact against which there can be no argument. We realise that we are not alone in using the Warmcore name a simple use of the term in the typical search engine will produce a number of companies who clearly state that they are manufacturers / retailers of the product even when their own company name does not necessarily reference the product – for example “Warmcore Bi-Fold doors from Wally’s windows” which gives the potential customer a clear understanding of what he is likely to be purchasing if he were to approach “Wally”
Tumblr media
As with most companies who operate on line we keep a watchful eye on developments in our industry and we have noted that as the popularity of this product has and is continuing to grow a number of companies have taken to branding the product as their own, a practice which is fine by us, if a little misleading for the customer, we have even heard from customers who believed that they were purchasing doors, windows or Bi-Fold doors manufactured from the warmcore profile only to find out later that this was not the case.
Tumblr media
Doors, windows and, particularly Bi-Fold doors may not be the most expensive item we will ever purchase but they are far from cheap, therefore we believe that the customer should be left in no doubt as to the product they are purchasing – this when coupled with exceptional Sales and Installation service of the kind provided by WarmCore Homes is our way of ensuring that all our potential customers know, understand and love the product that they are purchasing.

WarmCore Homes :Every mans home is his castle
WarmCore Homes :Every mans home is his castle
When in 1604 Sir Edward Coke declared –
“the house of every one is to him as his Castle and Fortress as well for defence against injury and violence, as for his repose” which over the years has become simplified to “a man’s home is his castle”
-who would have believed that we at GFD Trading and our WarmCore subsidiary would some 414 years later be installing our very first castle with Bi fold doors. We accept that we are massaging the facts a little as the “castle” in question is actually a new annex extension to the original building, but it is not every day that we are asked to carry out an installation in somewhere quite so grand.
Tumblr media
However when Bi fold doors are of the quality of WarmCore doors they are a welcome addition addition to any home as our installation photographs show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is not difficult to imagine, even from these “construction” photographs, just how superb these doors will look when the annex has achieved its final decoration as the annex mellows into the surroundings of the main building so will the WarmCore doors
At WarmCore we are not surprised that our Bi Fold doors have been chosen for such an illustrious setting as these are doors which simply ooze quality.
The unique WarmCore profile with its multi chambered ORANGE UPVC core wrapped in aluminium is extremely versatile and is at the core of the WarmCore range of products doors, Bi fold doors,

– the stylish good looks come from the aluminium frame which comes in a range of four anodised colours pure white, heritage cream, anthracite grey or jet black and the strength

WarmCore Bifolds in 5-6-and 7 panels wide
WarmCore Bifolds come in 5-6-and 7 panels wide a question of statistics
Your dilemma you have the space in your new build sun room to incorporate an opening for your new bi fold doors of between 5.00metres to 6.00 metres how many configuration options do you have? The simple answer you would think would be to ask the experts – the window company who is designing your door – if that window company was to be WarmCore Homes you would receive an even more confusing answer – we do not know. Yes, we know that sounds ridiculous but please consider our position – every door manufactured is bespoke to the customer so we do not actually design it, you do, we simply place all the options before the customer. For any standard opening we give the options of –
Doors opening to the right – in the centre – or to the left – which is three options for any configuration
Then you have the choice of Doors opening in over to draw the outside into your room or out over which can greatly enhance your internal living space when your doors are open a further two options
We reckon that’s two x three six options for every door style
The next step is the hard one your door configuration, do you minimise the number of panels to maximise the open aspect of your view or do you maximise the number of door panels to give you greater control over the environmental factors of sunshine and draught – no easy choice and something we at WarmCore take for granted, having never actually tried to work out the permutations we offer our customers.
We worry about our customers here at WarmCore Homes, just Like a dog with a bone who will not give up chewing, we thought about the configuration options and decided we now had a problem that we had to try and resolve not only for our own peace of mind but to have some semblance of a response if we were ever asked the question – “how many options do you offer?”. We limited our choice to the 5.00 m to 6.00m width we selected three widths just to see what our web site ” designer” would throw up – the minimum of 5.00 the a random 5.40m and the maximum of 6.00m.
The results are as shown below-
for the 5.00m width (we chose sliding to the left) and came up with these six options multiply that by the previous six variations and that’s 30 options for this width alone.
For the 5.40 width (we chose a centre opening configuration) and came up with seven options multiply that by the previous six variations and that’s 42 options for this width.
For the 6.00m width (we chose sliding to the right) and came up with four options multiply that by the previous six variations and that’s 24 options for this width
So, for 3 options of width we came up with an amazing 96 variations in configuration and as we can manufacture all of our units to mm of tolerance there is the potential for doors to be requested in a potential 1000 widths between 5.00metres and 6.00metre s which if a random three sizes can produce 96 variations we estimate could be a figure as high as approx. 3200 variations being available – probably as well we are an internet sales company because we would never find a showroom large enough to supply them all.
Our assessment is only based upon door widths of 5.00metres – 6.00metres wide so the full total of our options when taken against the range from 1500mm up over could run into hundreds of thousands because we also offer a 380mm width variation in door height.
After carrying out this whimsical exercise we at WarmCore Homes can advise all of our potential customers with certainty that if they have an opening for their new bifold door of between 1500 -6000mm wide and 2020 -2400mm high we can accommodate all of their needs and configurations – but please do not ask us how many options we produce.
The WarmCore Homes designer gives you all of the options you need to design your perfect door– why not try it for yourself – with doors that open outwards to minimise loss of space in your living area when fully open or inwards to welcome your garden into your home – they are all your choices and that’s before you get to choose the glazing, external and internal colour – pure white, heritage cream, anthracite grey or jet black and hardware options – picking the number of panels and the configuration that once seemed so difficult now seems remarkably easy.

With every WarmCore Homes Bi fold you are guaranteed-
a stylish and thermally efficient door- the stylish good looks come from the aluminium frame which comes in a range of four anodised colours and the strength and thermal efficiency come from the multi -chamber “orange” UPVC central core of the aluminium frame – and of course the glazing options which can be either double or triple glazed and which provide extremely efficient thermal ratings, 4W/m2K for double and 1.0W/m2K for triple glazing
a door that is both strong and durable and has achieved accreditation to PAS 24 and” Secured by Design”. To ensure that it will keep your family safe inside and the weather locked outside.
Whereas other Bifold door suppliers may treat the hardware on your door as of minor importance this is not the case with WarmCore Homes doors, our hardware is very important indeed the locks and handles are from ERA – ERA a specialist “Total Security” company have been around since 1838 servicing the fenestration industry with locks and security systems – that’s a lot of experience – 175 years and counting which is why we are able to offer the ERA 5 Star guarantee when you purchase a new bifold or French door from ourselves this is a guarantee that should not be missed read more on our Security page and find out exactly what the ERA 5 star security guarantee could mean to you.

Bi fold doors – but how many panels?
WarmCore Aluminium Bi fold doors – but how many panels
How do you decide what is best for your home – do you want to maximise the width of your glazed panels to create the best panoramic view of your garden or do you want to increase the number of panels by reducing their individual width to give you greater control over the opening possibilities.
Fortunately, when you use the “Quick quote” option on the WarmCore Homes web site and enter the world of designing your own door we already have the answers for you. Assuming you have an opening width of one of the more popular dimensions – say 3000mm you have a number of options your door can either have 3/4/or 5 opening panels – at WarmCore Homes we realise how difficult this can be for our customers so we do our very best to make life as easy as possible
Tumblr media
If 3000 mm should be the width for you, at step 3 on the designer, after you have inserted your dimensions and decided your direction of folding – we offer you the choice of the perfect configurations for your opening width, the one above is taken straight from the designer so for a 3000mm opening width you have the option of six configurations. To create this option, we clicked on a “right” direction of slide, sliding left would provide the same configuration – but requesting central opening would produce a different configuration, our designer does the hard work and then it’s over to you to choose what suits your home best.
vimeo
Warmcore Homes Aluminium Bi Folding Doors-770Out-HD 1080p from WarmCore Homes on Vimeo.
If you were purchasing your door in a face to face discussion with a salesperson you wanted four panels and they started talking in numbers 4-0-4 / 4-1-3 / 4-2-2 you would have every right to look confused its actually not as complex as it sounds –
The first number is the number of panes
The second is the number that park to the left
The third is the number that park to the right
A 4-1-3 is therefore a door with 4 panes one parks to the left and three to the right when fully open – the graphics on our web site make it far easier than talking to a salesman.
The WarmCore Homes designer gives you all of the options whether you wish to have your doors open outwards to minimise loss of space in your living area when fully open or inwards to welcome your garden into your home – they are all your choices and that’s before you get to choose the glazing, colour and hardware options – picking the number of panels that once seemed so difficult now seems remarkably easy.
With every WarmCore Homes Bi fold you are guaranteed a stylish and thermally efficient door that is both strong and durable and has achieved accreditation to PAS 24 and” Secured by Design”. The stylish good looks come from the aluminium frame which comes in a range of four anodised colours and the strength and thermal efficiency come from the multi -chamber “orange” UPVC central core of the aluminium frame – and of course the glazing options which can be either double or triple glazed. Our hardware is also pretty unusual the locks and handles are from ERA – ERA a specialist “Total Security” company have been around since 1838 servicing the fenestration industry with locks and security systems – that’s a lot of experience – 175 years and counting which is why we are able to offer the ERA 5 Star guarantee when you purchase a new bifold or French door from ourselves
Tumblr media
era-5-star
The ERA 5 Star Guarantee is an industry standard recognised by the majority of Insurance companies and the Police through the Secured by Design Scheme – so what does it mean to the customer – those 5 Stars all count for something unique –
One – because the ERA 5 Star system is recognised as an industry standard once your insurance company are aware that you have this level of cover your it is very likely that your home insurance premiums will be reduced.
Two – Accidents do happen and things do wrong and if you should be the unfortunate individual who is the recipient of an attempted break in which leaves your help is at hand as the ERA 5 Star cover includes a free 24 hour 365 days a year call out service which will ensure that your property will be secured or your doors repaired at the earliest opportunity.
And if a locking component should fail or a burglar should actually outwit one of our locking systems the ERA 5 Star guarantee ensures that you are suitably recompensed
Three– if a locking component fails and requires a claim on your household insurance your insurance excess” will be recompensed up to a value of £1,000 .00
Four – if a locking component fails and requires you will be entitled to a value up to £1,000 .00 to meet the costs of repairs or replacements
Five – in the unlikely event that the would-be burglar actually gains entry you will be entitled to a compensation cheque of £1,000 .00
The best guarantee is the last one – this insurance does not just for a year – every purchaser of a WarmCore Homes door is provided with an ERA 5 Star Guarantee that lasts for TEN years
A four panel 3000mm wide BI fold with ERA five-star insurance cover from WarmCore Homes – designed by you to integrate perfectly into your home competitively priced and with a 0% finance package (for qualifying customers) if you should need it, may just be the best Bi Fold deal currently available, why wait.

Warmcore : Where do you begin?
Where do you begin? to bi-fold or not to-bi fold
In the beginning it was easy – you had an opening in a wall that you wanted to look out – so you put in a window – you had an opening in a wall you wanted to come in through so you put in a door – what could be simpler – but oh how times have changed
The question we maybe should now be asking is “when is a door a door” or “when is a window a window” and the main reason for this dilemma is the arrival of the bi-fold door simply because the bi fold door fulfils both functions – when closed it comprises a large area of glazing to provide the window option when closed but then swing back one or all of the opening and sliding leaves and it provides the door option whenever you need it.
If you are currently facing this dilemma there are a number of points you should consider – firstly how large is the opening that you intend to fill – for openings of less than a certain width – normally around 2.5 metres and if budgetary constraints are a problem, there may be an alternative solution.
French Doors – can actually produce a very large area of open glazing dependent upon the style you choose but of course you have the drawback that as these doors generally require substantial frames and doors of rigid construction requiring Jambs which means that you can be left with a rather large an obstruction at either side of the opening thereby lessening the impact of bringing the outside in.
Sliding Patio Doors – they seem to have been in vogue forever and are now available in a choice of materials which can make them a more cost effective solution and although with the use of slim line frames they can maximise the volume of glazing available they have the major drawback that even if all panes are slid open they still present normally only a 50% open space for access i.e. not an unrestricted view.
The major cost benefit of both of the above over bi – fold doors comes from the fact that they are tried and tested have been around for ages and where French and Sliding Patio Doors are generally manufactured to operate adequately using standard hardware like hinges and rollers the requirements for bi fold hardware tends to be somewhat more sophisticated – for sophisticated you could also read expensive.
Although French and Sliding Patio Doors could not be described as “mass produced” the very fact that they have been with us so long means that they are normally available “off the shelf” which invariably means that they are very competitively priced.
So why would you choose a bi fold door – they can open up large areas of wall up to 90% clear opening when fully opened – take for example a typical 3-metre-wide brickwork to brickwork opening
-when fitted with a bi-fold door would be expected to achieve a clear opening of around 2.7 metres an opening larger than any other domestic door style.
French Doors are normally restricted in width to 2.5 wide as a maximum width because of the width weight ratio and if they are installed with side panels (although they can look very attractive) it rather defeats the benefit of clear opening space
Patio doors over 2.5 metres normally require a minimum of three door panels –and wider openings will require more sliding panes – the more panels – the wider the frame requirement from front to back which even using slim line components can result in chunky frames and blurred sight lines when both open or closed – want to know what something four panels wide could look like when parked at one end of your door opening – something like the image below – possibly not the preferred option.
Tumblr media
And certainly not as attractive as the typical bi-fold cill
Tumblr media
Therefore, it is a bit of a no brainer – the wider the opening that you have to fill the greater the benefit of a bi-fold door because as extra panels can be added in a linear fashion (as many as the opening width requires) you can control the total look and feel of your door the way you want it to look the only limitation being glass weight. As a typical Patio or French Door will be designed to carry circa 180 kgs of glass and a Bi Fold Door up to 800 kgs of glass and both operate in a sliding swinging motion the requirement for that more sophisticated hardware suddenly becomes obvious but it certainly should not create a barrier in designing your bi-fold door the way you want it to look. #warmcorebifoldingdoors

A Room with a View
A room with a view
This would be nice but it is pretty rural
But combine it with some of this –
Or maybe you are the lucky person who wakes up to a garden like every morning
Add a little something to make your view glide in to vision-
Two beautiful views – two component parts that shout style
As the dark days of winter approach we all need something to keep our spirits as the days grow shorter and colder – could that something be a room with a view – clearly way back in 1928 a certain Mr Noel Coward must have had some very similar thoughts – forget the lovey dovey romantic images and try to conjure up the image of your wonderful new “Warmcore” door gracefully sliding opening before your eyes to reveal the wonder of a spring day or as Mr Coward put it
I’ve been cherishing through the perishing Winter nights and days A funny little phrase That means such a lot to me That you’ve got to be With me heart and soul For on you the whole thing leans Come with me and leave behind the noisy crowds Sunlight shines for us above the clouds Please don’t turn away or my dream will stay Hidden out of sight among a lot of ‘might-have-beens’
A room with a view—and you, With no one to worry us, No one to hurry us—through This dream we found. –
And the dream in question – just you and your new WarmCore bi fold door ready to face the world –
The rest of the ditty can be pretty much forgotten because it just gets sloppy and to be perfectly honest the voice simply grates a bit like fingernails on a blackboard- but for the bit we have featured Mr Coward could have been extolling the virtues of the “WarmCore” bi- fold door
What a way to set up your view whether it be “new build” / replacement or an extension this is going to add STYLE to your property – whatever size you choose for your new “WarmCore” door the door that is about to elevate bi fold doors to a new level you are guaranteed a clearer brighter, warmer home.
Precision-manufactured with a high quality surface finish and affording slim, elegant door frame sightlines once installed, aluminium has undoubtedly become the material of choice for premium folding sliding door applications today.  But now there’s an even better solution – WarmCore’s innovative “warm aluminium” frame construction is key to offering unrivalled thermal performance with U-values as low as 1.4 W/m2K using standard 28mm double glass or 1.0 W/m2K using 44m triple glass.
At the heart of WarmCore products is a core of PVC-U which significantly out-performs the polyamide thermal breaks commonly used to reduce the threat of cold bridging on aluminium windows and doors.  The result is an innovative “warm aluminium” frame construction, carefully dimensioned to provide an optimised 70mm front-to-back overall sash frame depth for UK applications while ensuring market-leading thermal performance thanks to the multi-chambered insulating core.
There is so much to say about this superb new door and rest assured over the coming days weeks and months that is exactly what we at GFD HQ will be doing so watch this space.
Much as we may have no love for Mr Cowards voice the song kind of grows on you –
A room with a view provided by you
My beautiful new “Warmcore bifolding” door

We're cooking on gas... Well not quite but technically we could be! 🍳 . Water pipework has been installed along with gas pipe for cooker and both pressure tested with no leaks 👏🚰 We just need to add some copper earthing ⚡ . After lots of cable runs and meters of cabling back to consumer unit, the ring main has been completed and tested with the lighting circuit needing a few more meters and then will also be finished🏃‍♂️ . After days of trying due to #lockdown we have finally sourced some foil insulation board for the roof which will hopefully be delivered over the next few days and will be the next job 🤞 . #lockdown #buildingwork #kitchendesign #kitchenplan #interior #kitchenrenovation #rearkitchenrenovation #builder #extension #houseextension #renovation #refurb #newkitchen #electrician #cable #sockets #kitchensofinstagram #ringmain #copper #singlestoreyrearextension #rearextension #concrete #bifold #bifolddoors #warmcore #waterpipe #speedfit #diy #homeimprovement

Bi -fold doors would your home suit them?
Bi -fold doors would your home suit them?
We have to admit to being biased but we at WarmCore Homes believe every home suits and will benefit from the installation of Bi- Fold doors because not only do they add value to your property, much more importantly in our opinion they can improve your quality of living. If Bi-Folds can be installed in a property such as the one in the photograph they can be installed in your home and just think how good they could look.
If you only have conventional windows it is difficult to get “fresh” air circulating in your home on those rare balmy summer days we experience so infrequently in the UK, if you have patio of French doors you are part way there you can open them wide and experience a flow of summer into your home, but if you have a Bi – Fold door unlike the more conventional lift and slide doors or French doors, bifold doors open up the entire wall or any space as big or as small as you wish to make it, this is due their concertina opening style. Open them wide and it is as if there is no wall there at all, just an extension of your garden to relax into and enjoy your garden.
Whether the opening you are looking to fill is narrow or wide, there is a style in the WarmCore Homes range of doors that is perfect for you from a simple two door format right up to a seven panel configuration which can fill openings of up to 6.00m wide our bifold doors are so versatile that you can choose your preferred number of panels to fit any opening.
vimeo
Warmcore Homes Aluminium Bi Folding Doors-770Out-HD 1080p from WarmCore Homes on Vimeo.
The versatility of our doors does not end with the number of panels because no two homes are the same and each of us has differing preferences – you also decide how your doors will open and where they park, inwards outwards left or right – there are in fact so many options that the best way to check out all the options is to visit our web site “Designer “ page where you can design the configuration that best suits your home. We have to agree with our customers when they tell us that this configuration issue sounds a bit complicated, but really it is nowhere as complex as it first seems the styles are describes in three numbers, the left number refers to the number of panels you choose for your door, the centre number shows how many left and the right number show how many open right, pretty straightforward – we actually make it as simple as possible by graphically illustrating each of your choices take a 6-4-2 – 6 panels 4 move left and 2 move right – it’s that easy
Adapt your door to suit where you have the space more space to the left of your room more panels to the left, or the opposite if your excess space is to the right, or you’d like one panel to open by itself, you decide the options you want, that’s what our designer is for.
With our range of configurations whether you are simply aiming to open up part of your kitchen dining room, or looking to create a wide-open space into your conservatory, or opening up a full wall to the lounge our bifold doors are flexible in design to suit either a new build or your home improvement project.
As bifold doors fold away neatly to one or both sides, they create the illusion of so much extra space when they are open making your room seem that bit larger and more inviting.
But what of the material from which the door is manufactured as the the WarmCore Homes door is described as a – A COMPOSITE BI-FOLD DOOR- what makes it different it is actually a bi- fold door with a UPVC core set inside an Aluminium frame –
providing the best of both products – from the Aluminium the precision engineered frames which can be manufactured to any size and which will be guaranteed to retain their strength and rigidity, ours are strong enough to be capable of carrying the weight of either double or triple glazed glass panels and provide solid and secure fixings for all of your handles locks and runners
from the UPVC – the inner core strength that both improves the “U” values whilst providing a superb “cold break” within the frame all but eliminating the transfer through the structure.
The original concept of the dual material WarmCore frame has now evolved into something altogether very special –
Slim line aesthetically pleasing frames
Guaranteed strength confirmed by the doors “PAS 24” and “Secured by Design” accreditation
Double or triple glazed units that ensure excellent thermal values which can be further enhanced by the introduction of thermally efficient “Celsius” glass
The introduction of thermal breaks in the frames to enhance “U” values the excellent draughtproofing all contribute to keeping your energy bills down and your home warm and secure.
Smooth and sophisticated operating systems that glide rather than are dragged into position
Low thresholds that actually do prevent water ingress
A carefully selected minimum range of colours for exterior and interior– jet black, anthracite grey, heritage dream and pure white seem to enhance the exclusive nature, and appearance of this door rather than detracting from its appeal and of course the handles and accessories can either be colour matched to the frames or provided in contrasting colour to suit your décor.
Will it suit your home? Of course, it will a Bi- fold door from WarmCore Homes the one you want to come home to.

How are you going to fill that hole in the wall?
How are you going to fill that hole in the wall?
Just goes to show how times have changed once upon a time a “Hole in the wall” meant an area where brickwork had been removed, however now we more commonly associate the term with one of these – the machine that seems to give an endless flow of money – provided that you can remember your “pin” number.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warmcore Homes Aluminium-Bi-Folding-Doors-New-Build-Exterior
This is more like that which we had in mind because we were of course referring to the building dilemma of how big should you make the opening and what are you going to fill it with a door or a window – definitely not the cash point option.
If you are considering a new build – you have all the options you can design whatever you want – but if you are considering an extension or a simple alteration your options may be governed by the layout of the existing premises.
What everyone needs when placed in this situation is a place they can go where they can view all of the options – variations on the door theme from one offs to bifolds with French doors thrown in along the way and preferably with a matching window style and maybe a conservatory option for the more adventurous. It’s a lot to ask, but if you are into online shopping and do not mind choosing your new product from a web site which contains excellent graphics and masses of techie stuff rather than getting into the showroom “touchie feelie” kind of shopping – there is a place where you can find everything you need.
Back in January in our blog “Front Doors, Composite Doors, Doors and now – Bi-Fold Doors” we advised how we had introduced our very own new kid on the block. WarmCore Homes a web site primarily to sell Bi fold doors, but now all of that has changed WarmCore Homes has itself evolved.
Tumblr media
WarmCore Homes have it all single residential doors French doors, bi-fold doors and windows and they are all made from the revolutionary WarmCore profile–not one material but two a composite a UPVC core set inside an Aluminium frame –
providing the best of both products – from the Aluminium the precision engineered frames which can be manufactured to any size and which will be guaranteed to retain their strength and rigidity, to find out just how easy the online process can be and what is offered a read of the “Buy Bifold doors on line and experience the world” which featured recently on our WarmCore site will provide you with all the information you need to know.
Regarding the size of that hole in the wall, when you take advantage of the “Quick quote” designer on our web site we advise of the dimensional options available, we can manufacture units from
1500mm – 6000mm wide
and
2020mm -2400mm high
Which means we can provide you with the option to fill some quite sizeable holes.
The WarmCore profile offers incredible versatility when it comes to design all of our range are slightly different in design but they do have many features which are common to all –
Slim line aesthetically pleasing frames
Double or triple glazed units that ensure excellent thermal values
The introduction of thermal breaks in the frames to enhance “U” values even further
Smooth and sophisticated operating systems that glide rather than are dragged into position
Low thresholds that actually do prevent water ingress
Bright and colourful – white for UPVC or Grey for aluminium are a thing of the past – foils and powder coating have revolutionised the appearance.
Possibly the most important – price – WarmCore profile products are not the cheapest available but they are very competitively priced and the quality is second to none.
The WarmCore story just gets better – here at GFD HQ (WarmCore and Composite Door Prices are both GFD Companies) we would always recommend our own highly professional installation teams for your installation – and as our Installation service includes a full dimensional check and structural review we take care of all the little things that could frustrate your installation. However, we are well aware there are some very competent fenestration product installers and even DIY fanatics who can happily take on the task of installation and make the appropriate cost savings which is why we have recently modified the “Designer” on the WarmCore Homes web site to include a “delivery only” option.
WarmCore Homes and Composite Door prices between them they can provide everything you need to know in order to “fill that hole in the wall” to create your dream door or window.

WarmCore Bifold Doors - Installed by You!
WarmCore Bifold doors – installed by you ?
First impressions could be wrong – it’s a nice van and its driving through some nice countryside with your new bifold door and a team of our excellent installers on route to install your new door – well it could be but it’s not – no installation team and no they are not in a separate van following on behind.
This van contains your new WarmCore Bi fold door our driver and his mate because it’s part of our new service WarmCore Bi Fold Doors, Windows French doors etc. in fact all of our doors and windows are available as a DIY service – so if you are an installer yourself or maybe a very competent tradesperson we are offering you the opportunity to purchase our superb product and install it yourself. The normal caveats will of course apply as it’s a DIY product once you tackle delivery the responsibility of installation is yours, this does not mean to say we at WarmCore Homes would walk away – that’s not the GFD Group way ( WarmCore Homes a is a GFD group company) we will still be there to support you should you need us.
Tumblr media
Rather than set up a complete set of web pages to offer this new service we have simply added the “Delivery only” option to our “Quick Quote” facility on the home page same easy to navigate “designer” but now with two routes to achieving your required quotation – all that is required is that you follow the step by step guidance questions (remember to complete them all) and when you have completed – enter your “e” mail particulars and we will get back to you virtually by return with your “delivery only” price and you can start looking forward to an outlook like that below.
One word of warning – if you are a DIY enthusiast rather than a dedicated installer of fenestration products – if your new Bi- Fold door is to be installed in an extension or an alteration to an existing opening there is a lot more to consider in respect of line, level, square and cill calculations – if you have any doubts leave it to the professionals. When it comes to professional installation services they do not come much better than WarmCore installers and as our Installation service includes a full dimensional check and structural review we take care of all the little things that could frustrate your installation.
At WamCore Homes we take great pride in our product because we know just how good they can look when installed correctly – a part of that pride is knowing just how much our customers will love their new bi fold doors for many years to come.
