There is something so viscerally haunting about the Resting Grounds and the concept of Lingering Dreams in general to me

Like No-Eyes, for example. From what I’ve gathered she’s, like, a mother who killed her children rather than let them be killed by whatever was coming after them. And yet her restless remnant still remains.

And the way the other spirits in the Glade talk. As if they don’t know they’re dead, or if they have just come to terms with it. That haunting music that just sticks with me constantly. Everything feels sorrowful there. And I know I’ve mentioned Millybug before but even thinking about them makes me want to cry.
