the nice thing about being back on my ketamine treatments is that I can bargain with myself re: takeout by being like "OH NO, GETTING INDIAN CURRY IS A MEDICAL NECESSITY..."
it cleans out your sinuses real nice, which is helpful before taking a medication nasally lmao.
anyway, I guess what I'm saying is that chicken makhani should be covered by my health insurance.

Undoubtedly chicken tikka wrap has always been the superior choice when you have to select the best among different kinds of starters. Among chicken starters, people dominantly choose either chicken tikka or chicken tandoori because they are so healthy and easy to make. Even health and diet conscious people can opt for chicken tikka as it requires minimal oil. The word tikka means pieces or chunks. Chicken tikka is a simplest and quickest recipe in which chicken pieces are marinated with special spices & yogurt. After that chicken pieces are grilled or baked-on skewers or in an Oven. You can also make chicken tikka masala gravy by using these soft, tendery chicken tikka chunks. For Chicken Tikka Wraps, Any kind of tortillas, wheat roti or parantha can be used to wrap these tender chicken tikka pieces. The red colours of tikkas are because of the Kashmiri red chili powder that I have used, which gives it a nice red color. Usually, I prefer chicken breast for making tikkas as it absorbs the marinade really well as compared to chicken wings. This is the basic marinade that I have used to make chicken tikka, but the same marinade can also be used to make butter chicken recipe too. Both chicken tikka and chicken tandoori are somewhat similar as both are baked or grilled on a hot tandoor that’s why the name tandoori chicken. Since most of the people don’t have a tandoor at their home, then the simplest alternative they use is oven or grilling pans. Ingredients for Chicken Tikka wrap: • Boneless chicken – 500gms • Plain yogurt – 3tbsp • Ginger – garlic paste – 1 tbsp. • Garam Masala Powder – 1tsp • Cumin powder – 1/2tsp • Coriander powder – 1/2tsp • Red chili powder – 1 tbsp. • Chaat masala powder – 1tsp • Lemon juice – 2tbsp • Salt – to taste Ingredients for yogurt chutney • Yogurt - 3tbsp • Coriander leaves - 1/4th cup • Cumin powder - 1/4th tsp. • Black pepper powder - 1/4th tsp. •alt- to taste Veggies for grilling • Carrots • Capsicum • Onions • Tomatoes How to make Chicken Tikka? Method 1. While making Chicken tikka, a thick yogurt is needed because it helps in making thick marinade masala. 2. Add yogurt in a mixing bowl, into this add Kashmiri red chili powder, ginger-garlic – paste, cumin-coriander powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder. 3. Next add lemon juice and salt to taste, mix everything well and check its taste for salt and chili powder, add a little bit more if needed. 4. Finally, add the cubical chicken pieces and mix well with the marinade and let it rest for about an hour to 30 minutes. 5. Longer the chicken rest in the marinade, more succulent and flavourful it would turn out to be. 6. Next, thread the chicken pieces into the wooden or iron skewers or either place on a grilling pan. 7. To cook the chicken, preheat a grill to medium or prepare a barbeque. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10 -12 minutes, basting occasionally with the remaining marinade. 8. You can even prepare an oven at 240oC for 15 minutes, and grill the chicken skewers, check until chicken is fully tender. 9. For wraps: either you can wrap it in pita bread or tandoori roti or wheat roti. How to serve Chicken tikka wrap? • Wrap or roll chicken tikkas with warm roti or parathas along with yogurt chutney and plenty of green salads. Tips and tricks: 1. While using wooden skewers, make sure to soak it in cold water for half an hour before using it this step will prevent it from burning. 2. Always grease your skewers with enough amount of oil to prevent it to stick to the skewers & easily slide-off the kebabs. 3. For a nice smoky flavour, burn charcoal until red hot, then keep it in the small bowl. Place this small bowl in the chicken tikka pan, pour ghee on the red hot coal, as soon as smoke begins, immediately cover the pan and smoke for 10 minutes.
